NEWS
PWInsider spoke to Bill Goldberg shortly before WWE?s WrestleMania XXX pay-per-view earlier this month. Regarding the rumors of possibly returning to face Ryback, Goldberg says he had a few talks with Triple H but none of them were specifically geared towards WrestleMania and none of their talks had to do with Ryback. Goldberg described the talks as general conversations that didn?t lead anywhere. He says he still trains, maybe more than he ever has in his life, and had the following to say about a possible return ?Would I love to do it again and have my son and my wife, who has never seen me wrestle? Abso-damn-lutely. Would I jeopardize what I?ve done in the wrestling world just to make that happen? No. So if I wasn?t ready to do it, physically ready to do it, and it wasn?t the right situation, I wouldn?t do it just to do it. If that was the case, I?d probably be at WrestleMania this year. It just has to be right and if it?s not right, then I?m retired, for good.?

Sting made his first WWE-related TV appearance on last Tuesday's "Ultimate Warrior - Greatest Matches" special on the WWE Network. In between matches, they have been featuring recently recorded comments from various stars on Warrior and Sting spoke after Ricky Steamboat. Sting talked about how his favorite Warrior memory was Warrior putting tuna and orange juice in a blender and saying, ?I got my protein and vitamin C all in one.?

WrestlingDVDNews.com reports that United Kingdom retail site Zavvi has revealed that one of upcoming WWE DVD projects in a Sting DVD and Blu-ray that?s scheduled to be available for pre-order in September. Actual release date for the Sting DVD is Septenber 29th in the United Kingdom. The US release date is yet to be determined.

Zeb Colter continues to tweet about looking for a new Real American. He posted the following on Twitter on Wednesday "GETTING A LOT OF RESPONSES OVER POSSIBLY A NEW ADDITION TO #REALAMERICANS. SOME NAMES ARE SHOCKING!!! Any more suggestions? @WWE?

Diane Falzone of FoxNews.com recently interviewed Roddy Piper and spoke about the passing of The Ultimate Warrior saying ?For the wrestling community, he had a tremendous audience. A lot of people used to knock him for his interviews for not making any sense. What they didn?t understand is they weren?t supposed to. They were for children. ?I?m Batman. I?m Superman.? And there they are trying to get something great. No, they are for kids. The one thing I?ll say about him is he was a little different, as we are all are, but he would be speaking out about guys like myself, Ric Flair, some other guys saying, ?You guys should hang it up. It?s embarrassing. You keep going out.? But he (legally) changed his name to Warrior. I found that a little hypocritical.? To read the entire interview, click here.

The cast of "WWE Legends House" held a press conference last week at Smith and Wollensky steakhouse in New York City. They also screened the first episode that premiered last Thursday night and this was the first time that the cast had seen the premiere episode. Newsday has an article up on the show at this link. They talked to Roddy Piper about the show. He said "First thing, I?m uncomfortable. There are some things I forgot ? [grimaces] ? uncomfortable. I think it?s very authentic. Like nobody there is trying to pretend ?I?m this,? or ?I gotta live up to this.? Everybody in there has been around long enough, they?re just kind of being themselves, like we are here. Nobody?s putting up any airs." PWInsider reports that while many reality shows script their segments, "WWE Legends House" did not do that. None of the talents on "Legends House" were scripted in terms of verbiage or how to react.

Mick Foley posted on Facebook about CM Punk being in considerable pain for the past 3 years and Punk making the decision to walk away from WWE. Foley wrote "Yes, the response to that funny photo of CM Punk on a milk carton was incredible. While I respect everybody?s opinion ? as long as it is given in a respectful way, I have to disagree with those out there who find great fault in Punk?s simply walk away. I am kind of like a ghost that drifts in and out of WWE, but in my past three years of drifting, I have never been to a WWE event where Punk was not in considerable pain. Ice packs, heating pads, and visits to the trainer were as much a part of his daily routine as eating. sleeping, and wrestling. Performing at that level, in that degree of pain was only possible when accompanied by the passion that turned an unlikely Indy kid into one of the greatest WWE superstars of his generation. Once that passions gone, then so are all of the things that made him great. I know what it feels like to go through the motions, and to do what needs to be done solely for the paycheck. It?s not pretty ? and though I have not talked to Punk since the night before he left, I have to believe he has too much respect for what he does to let people see him going through the motions. If or when that day comes when CM punk returns to WWE, I hope it?s with that same passion that made so many of you care about him to begin with."

Mick Foley revealed in an interview with ?The Drive with Marc James? on CBS Radio in Charlotte, NC that WWE has offered him a new Legends deal but he probably won?t sign it. Here is a quote from the interview, ?Honestly, I?m probably not going to sign my Legends deal with WWE because I don?t think they did the right thing by the guys with the video game. The check was a little low. Last year, there was a bankruptcy, but this year there wasn?t. So, I don?t see the upside to signing the Legends deal when the carrot isn?t there dangling. So, I?m not going to sign my Legends deal.? To hear the entire interview, click here.

SBNation.com has a new article up with WWE Superstars and Divas sharing some of their hotel horror stories. Among those answering was Jim Ross. He wrote "It?s ranged from turning the sheets back and finding someone?s ? deposit. Someone actually used the restroom in the bed and then remade the bed. And it was ? it wasn?t funny. That was in [New] Jersey, I think. Then the other stuff is simple. I had a hotel room in Manchester, England, that would have been too small for Hornswoggle. I was hanging everywhere. They had a TV with a screen the size of my iPad. They had a desk, that you could work at the desk, but the room was so small, the desk didn?t have room for a chair. So you had to sit on the end of the bed to reach over to your desk to do your work.' Goldust also wrote about a time he was on a tour of Japan with Doug Furnas, Dan Kroffat, and Abdullah the Butcher when he wrote "I?ve got several, but I really shouldn?t ? Okay, I?ll tell you one story. It?s not really a horror story. I was in Japan, and this was my first tour over there. I was there with Danny Kroffat and Doug Furnas. We were in this little bitty town in Japan ? I can?t remember where it was ? but Abdullah the Butcher always sleeps with his door open. And I think it was Doug Furnas that came up with the bright idea to get me out of the room and he said, ?Watch this right here, this is gonna be funny as hell.? And he let the fire extinguisher go. And it was one of those ones that doesn?t stop. And Abdullah started coughing in his room. There was white stuff all over. It was pretty cool. [Abdullah] didn?t know who did it, though."

Adam F. Goldberg, creator of ABC sitcom "The Goldbergs", said he is a big fan of The Ultimate Warrior, calling him his hero on Twitter last week. He had been planning a pro wresting themed episode for the show and was tweeting Stephanie McMahon and Vince McMahon for photo approval because he wanted to do an Ultimate Warrior tribute on the same episode that will feature pro wrestling. Goldberg tweeted last week that someone introduced him to Steve Wilton of Warrior Entertainment and that episode will now be dedicated to Warrior and will air on May 6th and entitled "A Wrestler Called Goldberg". "The Goldbergs" is a family sitcom based in suburban Philadelphia in the 1980s.

It was Warrior Week on the WWE Network last week as WWE continues to honor The Ultimate Warrior who passed away 2 weeks ago in Scottsdale, AZ. Every day at 10pm Eastern, WWE will present "Warrior: The Ultimate Legend", a 4-part series focusing on the life, times, and matches of the Ultimate Warrior. WWE Network cameras were following Warrior and his family throughout the whole weekend but it?s not clear if any of that footage will make it to this series. The original idea was to have a documentary-style show on the Network featuring the Warrior family as they prepare for the Hall of Fame, WrestleMania, and RAW.

"The Ultimate Legend" documentary that WWE Network aired on The Ultimate Warrior last week is a must see. It features new footage of Sting talking about his history with Warrior and how Warrior was. It also had footage of Vince McMahon talking about Warrior and getting emotional. Triple H talked about getting the news from his assistant and knowing it would be a tough conversation with Vince because of what Warrior meant to him. Vince says it was surreal to hear Warrior had passed and he didn?t want to believe it. Vince said the timing of it was as if it was destined to happen that way. Sting also spoke about Warrior?s death, what he said on RAW the night before and called it prophetic. Vince said Warrior wasn?t one for sympathy and would want people to celebrate his life. The documentary is currently archived for viewing on the Network. During the Warrior documentary, there?s a scene where Warrior meets with some of WWE?s merchandise people about some of the things they had planned for him. On the wall, there are recent WWE pay-per-view posters hanging. The 2014 Royal Rumble poster had a post-it note stuck over CM Punk?s face.

If you haven?t seen it yet or heard from other fans, the "Ultimate Legend" documentary about The Ultimate Warrior on the WWE Network is a must see. People within WWE have been raving about the special and there?s a push to try and get it on national TV, perhaps the USA Network. People are saying they can?t believe something so good was produced in such a short turnaround time.

Hulk Hogan posted on Twitter about Ultimate Warrior, "We both started over, said we loved each other, sorry, forgave each other, great moment for us only love HH pic.twitter.com/9jqcGZ3DTt".

Zack Ryder posted on Twitter "The Ultimate Warrior special that was just on ?#?WWENetwork? was incredible. I had tears in my eyes & chills the whole time. ?#?AlwaysBelieve?".

Jeff Jackson posted on Facebook "Fantastic job by @WWE The Warrior story was amazing. It brought tears to my eyes and I am happy that Warrior came back home ."

Matt Morgan posted on Twitter "Phenomenal job by @wwe on ?#?UltimateWarrior? piece tonight on ?#?WWENetwork?. Just...SO FREAKING WELL DONE! DEF a must see for all fans."

The Blue Meanie posted on Facebook "The new ?#?WWENetwork? documentary special "Warrior: The Ultimate Legend" is on of the best produced specials I've seen WWE do."

Mid-States Wrestling announced they will have a special tribute to The Ultimate Warrior at their May 3rd event in Harrison, AR.

Dana Warrior, the wife of the late Ultimate Warrior, posted on Warrior's Twitter account "Warrior girls and I will put our toes back in the pond of life. To honor Warrior do something brave today too. He?d tell us all we can be sad but not lazy :) join a gym and put down that chocolate bunny. I?m going for my first run since I lost him; support us by doing something bold, brave and awesome. Dana A. Warrior".

Bob Holly recently spoke with Ross Williams who helped him co-write his autobiography. When he was asked about the Ultimate Warrior tribute he he said "It?s great to see WWE do a tribute to Warrior but I question why they only do that for certain people? Only people who?ve made that company tons of money. It?s like, in other words, his life is more valuable than a mid carder?s life" but later compared to WWE not doing a tribute for Viscera, who passed away a few weeks before Warrior. He said "What pisses me off is that these guys that don?t get acknowledged when they pass, they sacrifice for that company, they sacrifice their body, they sacrifice their family, they sacrifice so much to work with WWE and for WWE to not acknowledge people but acknowledge Warrior, that?s a travesty to me. It?s wrong. They?re saying Warrior is more important than Viscera. Every human life is just as important as the other. What makes Warrior?s life more valuable than Viscera?" TMZ.com is reporting that WWE is warning all its current and former Superstars to stay away from the Nancy Grace show on CNN's HLN after her show on the death of The Ultimate Warrior. Dallas Page was invited to that particular show which was pretty much a disaster as the discussion was turned to steroids and the deaths of other professional wrestlers. Page said he didn?t know that show would turn into that and if he did he would have never agreed to take part. He said he was under the impression that the show would be to talk about The Ultimate Warrior and not steroids in professional wrestling. TMZ says that while WWE didn?t issue an official memo yet, the warning is pretty clear, if you would like to still work with WWE, avoid Nancy Grace.

Jim Ross has updated the Q&A section on JRsBarBQ.com and was asked how he would book Brock Lesnar now that Brock Lesnar has ended The Undertaker?s streak at WrestleMania. Ross replied ?I am a marketer. If fans get these Q&A?s for free hopefully they will reciprocate by buying some of our family?s products online. Lesnar should become untouchable until he passes the invisible torch at WM31 to the next big thing. I?d not beat Lesnar until WM31 and then only if it made sense and someone was ready to assume that role.?

Jim Ross was asked on Twitter who he thinks should be the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion and he went with Brock Lesnar. Ross responded ?Lesnar..now cue the ?part time? debate?. Ross also wrote that doing Lesnar vs. Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam is a ?no brainer.?

Jim Ross mentioned that he will have Tony Schiavone as a guest on his podcast and they would be taping during the baseball All-Star break. Ross' show of late has had Jim Cornette as guest.

As seen on "Total Divas" last week, Rikishi failed to show up for his son Jimmy Uso?s wedding to Naomi of The Funkdadactyls. Rikishi posted on Twitter after the show "Sometimes the storylines of reality TV mirror those of Wrestling! #All4Entertainment @totaldiva @territoryleague @knokxpro" and "Remember there is very little REAL in reality TV? @totaldiva @territoryleague @knokxpro @wweuso".

Kevin Nash had one of those nights on Twitter Saturday night calling Roddy Piper all kinds of names which would be fine if they were building up a match, but since they aren't, comes across really bad. He wrote, among other things, "Your a bitch and a liar. I had respect for you but no more. I smacked your bitch ass to the grond. never come around me c---." he went back and forth in his mind because another tweet said, "I love Rod and respect him. What I did was disrespetable. He is a ledge (legend). I was a raw Detroit guy. Wish it didn't happen. I f----d up." Before that it was "Piper is a deranged old fool. He got bitch slapped to the floor. Hulk, Pac, Scott and Eric were in the room. Let it go Rod pod cat invite?" Piper found out and ended up inviting him on his podcast.

Kevin Nash ranted on Twitter at Roddy Piper in response to Piper?s recent podcast comments where he talked about getting into it with Nash while they were in WCW. Piper said Nash didn?t know how to wrestle when talking about a tag match they had in WCW. Piper also talked about a locker room incident after the match where he charged at Nash, took his leg out and threw him out of the locker room. Nash responded ?@R_Roddy_Piper set it up .Follow me we?ll exchange numbers . There?s a whole lot more for you to worry about on Twitter than bad LANGUAGE?. Piper responded ?@RealKevinNash Don?t degrade your status with such language! There?s kids on here! Have some class! Your welcome on my Pod-Cast! Hot Rod? to which Nash responded ?@R_Roddy_Piper Don?t degade your status with stories of you ever standing up to me.Your the coward.Saw it in you eyes when I smacked you?. A person close to Roddy Piper notes that the Twitter beef with Kevin Nash this weekend had Piper really upset.

Sean Waltman, who was backstage when the WCW incident happened, went on Twitter and gave his side of the story ?I just heard it. On the life of my children Roddy is bold face lying & I hate to say that, because I love Roddy" then followed that with ?you (Nash) kicked the door in and everyone shit. Flair was more concerned about it not having to do with him. the Bodyguad tried to get between you. You said something to him and he stepped aside. Then you proceeded to open hand slap Roddy, because he was out of place and went into business for himself, causing you to re injure your knee in all that cluster Fu$k. I?ll give him credit for a nice leg sweep that came up a it short. He called you a liar over your description of the incident. No one wanted a piece.? Waltman then said "I just heard the podcast and it was an out and out lie. Can?t believe from Roddy. Hopefully it?s a memory issue and not pride.?

Kevin Nash said he talked to Roddy Piper and the feud may be over. He posted on Twitter "Talked to @R_Roddy_Piper on the phone seems our recollection is not the same.Asked him to do some research with those in the room. Said ok."

TNA has added an alumni roster to their website. Several stars such as Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Rob Van Dam, Mick Foley, Sting, Mickie James, Brooke Hogan, A. J. Aaron Oster of The Baltimore Sun recently interviewed A. J. Styles prior to Styles wrestling for Ring of Honor in Baltimore, MD on Saturday. When asked about the state of TNA right now, Styles answered "You know, I really don't know. I know they've made a lot of cuts. That must mean they're not doing so well. Sting gone, Hogan gone, myself gone, and I'm sure we're going to see more cuts soon. From what I've heard and been told, it's been horribly mismanaged as a company. I don't know if they're going out of business. But they're definitely doing things that make people think they're going out of business. And I hope they don't. I hope TNA doesn't go out of business because I have a lot of good friends that work there and deserve to be in the national spotlight. My hope is that they never go out of business." When asked about Global Force Wrestling, the new fed opening soon with Jeff Jarrett at the helm, Styles said "It's nuts to think that we could have four major wrestling promotions in the United States. Jeff's very smart, there's no doubt about it. He knows what he's doing, and always has a backup plan. He took TNA from nothing and turned it into something that's still around 12 years later. That's pretty darn good. That's an accomplishment right there. I trust Jeff. I trust him to put on something good, and something that people will watch." Styles did say he would work for GFW if given the opportunity saying "Sure, this is what I do. This is my job." To read the entire interview, click here.

Greg Oliver of SLAM! Wrestling wrote a story entitled "Stolen Kerry Von Erich memorabilia recovered" which you can read by clicking here. It is quite an interesting story about how his memorabilia went missing after Kerry's suicide and the cloak and dagger like recovery from the person who had it in their possession by the Von Erich's longtime bodyguard Bill Colville who said all the memorabilia will be given to Kerry's daughters.
