NEWS
Vader?s son Jesse White did very well at a recent WWE tryout at Florida Championship Wrestling and is expected to be offered a developmental deal reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. White has spent time wrestling in Japan including a recent show on March 21st for All Japan at Sumo Hall.

Cast-Iron Cothern was featured in the music video ?Hot Sauce? by rap artist Siccness. He played the role of a federal agent. You can view the video by clicking here.

MERC announced that as part of their restructure, anyone that is going to continue working with them needs to send them a private message on Facebook. They said they are looking into getting a practice going again and proceeding with plans for then a new venue. Click here for their Facebook page.

Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin) won the ROH Tag Team Titles at Ring of Honor's event in Atlanta, GA or April 1st. A video has been posted by ROH with the new champs that you can view by clicking here.

Jerry Lawler, Bronko Nagurski, Everett Marshall, The Sheik, Dick the Bruiser, Ivan Koloff, Billy Robinson, The Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal, w/ Paul Ellering), Vince McMahon, and Judy Grable will be honored on May 21st at the 10th Annual Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame Induction Banquet in Amsterdam, NY. Lawler will probably not be in attendance as he is already scheduled for an autograph signing in Wilmington, DE that same day.

Jim Ross took over on play-by-play at "WrestleMania XXVII" with the Michael Cole vs. Jerry Lawler match. Lawler joined Ross after his match and the two WWE Hall of Famers called the rest of the show together.

Jim Ross posted on Twitter on Saturday: "Lex Luger & DDP (Diamond Dallas Page) are here. Haven?t seen Michael Cole but haven?t looked in ladies room or tool closet. :)"

A lot of familiar faces were at the WWE Hall of Fame inductions on Saturday including Lex Luger, Norman Smiley, Dallas Page, Jimmy Hart, Gene Okerlund, Mae Young and others but perhaps the one who got most recognition was Ric Flair. As soon as the Nature Boy popped out with his family, fans in the arena started woooing as Flair acknowledged the crowd. Ric Flair was never mentioned during the broadcast and was never called by anyone on stage and didn?t even appear in the Shawn Michaels video package. One man who wasn?t there among the crowd was The Rock, although he could have been backstage with The Undertaker and Vince McMahon. Two interesting pairings at the show were The Miz with Maryse who were both sitting in front row and CM Punk with Beth Phoenix.

Lex Luger, Dallas Page, Ron Simmons and Nikita Koloff were also among those at the Hall of Fame

It came to no surprise that Triple H was the one who inducted his friend Shawn Michaels into the WWE Hall of Fame last Saturday. HBK said last week that he still hasn't decided on who was doing the induction and hinted that while he would like his buddy to do it, but as a performer, he wouldn't mind Bret Hart or even Ric Flair. HBK was the fourth inductee that Triple H did the honors for, following the inductions of Killer Kowalski, "Superstar" Billy Graham and more recently, Ric Flair.

Shawn Michaels has been writing a diary of his WrestleMania and WWE Hall of Fame experience for WWE.com. Part of the diary talks about Ric Flair coming in to give Shawn a gift of a belt buckle and some cufflinks. There is also a video of Flair and Michaels that you can view by clicking here.

Some more news and notes from the WWE Hall of Fame Induction on Saturday:

-Shawn Michaels referenced Ric Flair without mentioning his name which still received a huge pop. In his speech, he said he said didn?t want to go on and on like some others have. The crowd responded "WHOOOO!" to which Shawn replied "I didn?t say him". The reason why Michaels could not mention Flair by name is because Flair?s contract with TNA bars him from appearing at any other televised wrestling event. WWE can use old footage of him, but not new footage under his new TNA contract.
-In his introduction of Abdullah the Butcher, Terry Funk said ?I made so much money with him! I?d marry him!?
-Abdullah the Butcher's induction speech was short but touching. At one point he joked that he wanted to fork John Laurinaitis.
-In Bob Armstrong's induction speech, he said he was inspired to get into pro wrestling when he saw Gorgeous George in 1945.
-During Ted DiBiase's introduction of Jim Duggan, he teased that he would drop money for crowd like he did for his own induction, then said ?Now you know how to want. Hahahaha!!?

The Hall of Fame came and left with a jam packed arena witnessing the induction of "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, "Bullet" Bob Armstrong, Abdullah the Butcher, Sunny, Drew Carey, The Road Warriors with Paul Ellering, and Shawn Michaels. Ted DiBiase, the Armstrong family, Terry Funk, the WWE Divas, Kane, Dusty Rhodes, and Triple H did the honors for all the new inductees. Perhaps the most emotional moment of the night, excluding the whole Shawn Michaels segment, was when Paul Ellering pulled out a Hasbro action figure of Road Warrior Hawk and put it on the podium towards the end of his and Animal's speech as WWE cameras focused on the action figure of the late tag team champion.

WWE did a celebrity angle recently with MTV's Rob Dyrdek teaming with Roddy Piper to beat Tyson Kidd & Zack Ryder in a match that was taped for Dyrdek's TV show.

Snooki, Wendi Richter, Jimmy Hart, and Roddy Piper were among the non-WWE performers at Fan Axxess.

Add Lita and Paul Bearer to the list of people who were at Fan Axxess. So Paul Bearer is not dead. TNA's Tommy Dreamer ws also in Atlanta but not getting the pub Flair got.

The domain name WCW.com has been revived and is now pointing towards a WCW sub-section on WWE.com which has the title "The legacy of WCW revived." The page features a short history on World Championship Wrestling, history of the WCW titles, articles and photo galleries of former WCW Superstars including Sting, Booker T, Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Lex Luger, and others. This is a lead-in to hype the upcoming WCW DVD titled "The Very Best Of WCW Monday Nitro" which is hosted by Diamond Dallas Page.

Jey Uso won the 2011 WWE games Superstar Challenge defeating Sgt. Slaughter in the finals.

Koko B. Ware hung out with fans during the WrestleMania 27 party at Red & Jerry?s Event Center in Sheridan, CO.

Kurt Angle posted the following on Twitter on Sunday: "To WWE wrestlers, Don?t use my Finish. Get more Creative. Hmmmm- Orton. Did I say that? .. I heard Orton had an Awesome match though. Ur welcome. Lol. ? I guess Swagger will use my Ankle Lock as well.Very creative. I?m the Best in the World. You Guys will never be Kurt Angle.can I get an AMEN ? Kurt Angle will never die. TNA. WWE. I?m a leader. Not follower. :) ? Why would WWE use my finishes? Is it because I won?t go back? R Orton- Angle Slam. M Cole- Ankle Lock? They have some nerve ? Jerry Lawlor did it too. But He is a Legend. WWE really stuck it to Me.No Love lost. I?m glad that I helped Your biggest Event of the Year:)"

Randy Orton responded to Angle's claims with a Twitter post of his own: "Everythings been done before as far as ?moves? go in the sports entertainment. I want to thank SCSA for the ?Thesz Press? ? And I know for a fact that SCSA got the ?Thesz Press? from Dutch Mantell ? Point being, instead of taking offense to someone using your move, consider it a sign of respect ? Btw does anyone know what Ken Shamrocks finish was? I believe Jack Swagger used ankle lock outta respect for Ken?"

The day after all of this, Angle claimed his Twitter account had been hacked. He released the following statement: "I just found out somebody hacked into my Twitter account. Most of those tweets weren?t from me.I just found out today. I will find out Who would do this? I don?t know why somebody would pretend to be me. I apologize for the remarks. I?m not a twitter guy so I rarely use it .. On a side note, Randy and I discussed the Angle Slam.I am happy Orton used my Finish. As he put it,imitation is the sincerest form of flattery ? To those who Don?t believe my Twitter was hacked into, I could care less. I went to bed at 9pm.I tweewted about Orton only.I didn?t watch WM ? Randy Orton and I discssed it and we are on good terms.I?m glad He used Angle Slam. Randy is the best in the World. Let?s not exagerate this ? It?s over and done. I don?t listen to dirt sheets and I never will. I apologize if I upset anyone with my ?1″ tweet. WM was reat, I heard."

Current TNA World Champion Sting told British tabloid newspaper The Daily Star that WWE did indeed offer him a match against The Undertaker for WrestleMania as well as a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame. Sting said he turned it down for the same reasons he always have ? never trusting Vince on how he handled WCW Superstars. ?It was close,? Sting said. ?I?m glad things turned out the way they did.? The TNA champ said he won?t be watching the show but he?ll be asking around to see what happened between Taker and Triple H.

Jim Cornette was interviewed on Live Audio Wrestling covering several subjects including Ring of Honor on HDNet, Lawler vs. Michael Cole, and the WWE Hall of Fame. You can hear the interview by clicking here.

When film maker Stanley Kubrick was younger he did photojournalism and actually covered a Gorgeous George match. You can check out some of the photos by clicking here.

First there was the ?Real Housewives.? Then came ?Basketball Wives.? Now TMZ has learned a show currently in production centers around a new group of famous spouses ? ?Wrestler Wives.? Multiple sources tell us the guys behind ?Pit Boss? have teamed up with VH1 to produce a show which follows the wives of famous wrestlers ? and the pilot has already begun shooting in Houston. Sources say Sharmell Sullivan-Huffman (Booker T?s wife), Stacy Carter (Jerry Lawler?s ex-wife) and Jackie Haas (Charlie Haas? wife) are the main focus of the show. We?re told the show will also be centered around Booker T?s wrestling school in Texas, which Sharmell helps runs.

The trailer for a new documentary "Don't Bleed On Me - Wrestling's Hepatitis C Secret Revealed" has been released on YouTube. The film tells the story of Devon "Hannibal" Nicholson, a Canadian wrestler who tried for many years to get into the WWE. When he finally got the call that he was getting a developmental contract, he went to a family doctor for a physical and tested positive for Hepatitis C. Nicholson claims that the only way he could have gotten this was by co-mingling his blood with new WWE Hall of Fame inductee Abdullah the Butcher. Superstar Billy Graham appears in the video, where he talks about how Hepatitis C can lay dormant for years before it is found. Other wrestlers that appear in the trailer are Lanny Poffo, Sylvain Grenier, The Honky Tonk Man, and Tommy Dreamer. The video also has clips of Abdullah vs. Nicholson and it shows Abdullah "blading" himself then using the same blade on Nicholson. You can view the 14+ minute trailer by clicking here.

During ESPN's live telecast of the San Francisco Giants vs. Los Angeles Dodgers game in Los Angeles, they had a shot of long time Dodgers announcer Vin Sully, who had an autographed picture of the Honky Tonk Man behind him. You can see the photo by clicking here.

In the Texas state high school hockey finals a few days ago, there was a brawl between the teams and one of the kids using a Karl Gotch style piledriver (Jerry Lynn style). Clips can be viewed by clicking here.

Roddy Piper & New Jack did comedy shows at the Punchline in Atlanta, GA last Thursday night. There were about 200 to 250 people for Piper's show. He was said to be very entertaining telling stories about people like Ric Flair, Mad Dog Vachon, Andre the Giant, and Jim Barnett. His son Colt Toombs, an MMA fighter, was brought on stage with him, as was Sgt. Slaughter, which surprised people and got a big reaction. He also passed around both dog collars from his 1983 match with Greg Valentine. He took photos and signed autographs after for no charge. New Jack's show was announced as separate, but due to a small number of ticket sales, everyone was asked to stay for his show. Maybe 40 to 60 stayed. Terri Runnels, his current girlfriend, was there and enjoying the wine. She and Raven were both brought on stage. New Jack was wearing an O. J. Simpson T-shirt and at one point was cursing loudly and people could hear it because Piper went over his allotted time by 20 minutes. Once he started, he did a good job. New Jack & Runnels were charging for autographs and photos which would have been fine except after Piper didn't, it hurt their sales as people left when finding out about being charged for them. New Jack and Runnels were very nice to everyone after the show, though.

Jimmy Hart and Ricky Steamboat were on Hillbilly Jim's radio show last week. Hart was promoting WrestleMania and the WWE Hall of Fame, saying Miz has it and pushed the Lawler vs. Cole match. Steamboat talked about going to Verne Gagne's camp 37 years ago and said the last 37 years have gone by like a blink of an eye. He noted that he'd never even heard of Sammy Steamboat when Eddie Graham gave him the Ricky Steamboat name.

The funeral for Sir Oliver Humperdink took place last Sunday in Bloomington, MN.

Austin Tacious suffered an ankle injury in his match against Crisstopher Crow at the SWCW show Saturday. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.
