NEWS
Insane Hardcore Wrestling Entertainment will be holding their 2011 Hall of Fame Induction ceremony on Friday, May 6th in Fort Worth, TX. Among those inducted will be Matt Borne and the late Skandar Akbar. Borne will be inducted by Chico Torres, while Akbar will be inducted by Spoiler 2000.

Jerry Lawler called into "The Soscia Network Radio Show" on Mix 106.1 in Philadelphia, PA last week. Check out the 15 minute interview as they discussed many things including WrestleMania, the first time he met Vince McMahon, Eddie Gilbert, his thoughts on Snooki, how he felt about Michael Cole bringing up his recently deceased mother in a promo, the person he hates more than Matt Striker, plus tons more. To listen to the interview, click here.

WWE.com made changes to the Abdullah the Butcher write up in the Hall of Fame section, editing out two former WWE names and replacing them with two others. The original write up said, ?Abdullah never brawled with Bruno Sammartino for the WWE Championship or went the distance with Bob Backlund in Madison Square Garden. These are dream matches that will never happen, but these icons will all be together when The Butcher takes his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2011.? A few days later the names of Sammartino and Backlund were replaced with Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart while the rest of the wording remained the same. Some people took the sentence out of context and were saying that Sammartino and Backlund would be appearing in person at the Hall of Fame ceremony when the actual meaning was that Abdullah will join the growing list of names in the WWE Hall of Fame. The names were mainly replaced because Sammartino is not even in the Hall of Fame and is not on good terms with the company.

The Sports Illustrated website has a photo gallery of the past twenty six WrestleManias with each photo highlighting a particular WrestleMania. Muhammad Ali raising Hogan's arm, Andre the Giant's bear hug on Hogan, Randy Savage hoisting Elizabeth on his shoulders with the WWE title, Shawn Michaels grabbing the Intercontinental Titles on a ladder, and Batista's first title win are just a few photos showcased on the website which very, very rarely covers professional wrestling. You can check out the gallery by clicking here.

WWE.com's listing of the ten greatest dream matches of all-time:
10. Kofi Kingston vs. Ricky Steamboat
9. C.M. Punk vs. Jake Roberts
8. Rey Mysterio & Eddie Guerrero vs. Shawn Michaels & John Morrison
7. The Miz vs. Roddy Piper
6. Sheamus vs. The Ultimate Warrior
5. Edge vs. Bret Hart
4. Triple H vs. Randy Savage
3. Kane vs. Undertaker vs. The Big Show vs. Andre the Giant
2. The Rock vs. Randy Orton
1. Steve Austin vs. John Cena vs. Hulk Hogan

Appearing on "In Your Head Radio", soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels said he still hasn't chosen the person who will be inducting him into the Hall of Fame on April 2nd. He said it would be natural if Triple H or even Kevin Nash did it however as a performer he wouldn't mind having Bret Hart or Ric Flair do the honors and it's a matter of having either his buddies do it or have someone who as a performer meant a lot to him do it. He reveals that he hasn't made the decision and WWE is really pushing him to choose and has to come up with an answer pretty soon.

Xbox Live put up the demo for WWE All Stars. You can play as either Ultimate Warrior or Rey Mysterio.

There is a podcast featuring Sheamus and Roddy Piper building up the WWE All-Stars game available for viewing by clicking here.

A local radio ad in the Cincinnati, OH area is advertising Sting vs. Jeff Hardy and Brother Devon vs. Bully Ray for TNA's "Lockdown" pay-per-view event. Neither of these matches will be taking place and one can only assume that these were the plans prior to Hardy being sent home. It appears that Bully Ray has taken Hardy?s heel spot in Immortal.

The music video that Sarah Darling made with A. J. Styles is now No.1 in voting on CMT.com.

There was a fake Facebook page for A. J. Styles. It has since been taken down. His official website is AJStyles.org.

Paul Bearer (Percival Pringle III) talks about his career in professional wrestling. He discusses his long relationship with The Undertaker, ?The Streak,? and who really trained the ?Dead Man.? Bearer also talks about the disappearance of wrestling managers, the WWE hall of fame, WWE developmental, TNA, the passing of Sir Oliver Humperdink, and more. To listen to the interview, click here.

Paul Bearer posted on Twitter: "Received my WM27 schedule, I will be doing signings at AXXESS on Saturday & Sunday. I will be at The HOF & WM, as an observer only."

Larry Zbyszko responded to Chris Jericho's comments that were in his latest book and posted a video about it. To view the video, click here.

Roddy Piper canceled his April 1st and 2nd comedy dates since he'll be working for WWE over WrestleMania weekend. The March 31st date at the Punchline in Atlanta, GA is still on. Sgt. Slaughter will be at the show.

The "Memphis Heat" movie that debuted last Thursday night and played throughout the city this past weekend. No word on when a DVD will be released. Reportedly, the movie was fantastic, covering from the Billy Wicks vs. Sputnik Monroe feud in the late 50's and early 60's, to just as Vince McMahon went national in 1984. It's 90 minutes long and they had interviews with Sputnik Monroe, Billy Wicks, Jackie Fargo, Jimmy Valiant, Bill Dundee, Jerry Lawler, Len Rossi, Jerry Calhoun, Jimmy Hart, Buddy Wayne, and Guy Coffee. Dave Brown was at the premiere although Lance Russell and Jerry Lawler were not. Among those there besides Brown were Jimmy Hart, Jerry Jarrett, Len Rossi, Buddy Wayne, Jerry Calhoun, Ken Wayne, Kevin Lawler, the families of Billy Wicks and Sputnik Monroe, Shelby County Mayor A. C. Wharton, and Memphis Mayor Mark Luttrell as well as several Congressmen and all the local television stations.

There is a pro wrestling cartoon talking about wrestlers that have been in movies from Bull Montana, Tor Johnson, Harold Sakata (Professor Toru Tanaka), Hulk Hogan, The Rock, Andre the Giant, Len Montana, Roddy Piper, Jesse Ventura, Steve Austin, and John Cena, among others. As usual in these type of things, Terry Funk always gets overlooked. You can view the cartoon by clicking here.

Newsday listed 20 fun facts about pro wrestling. Pretty much everything listed is true other than Jim Ross does not own a successful BBQ restaurant in Oklahoma, although he did until a few months ago. You can view the list by clicking here.
