NEWS
WWE.com has announced that Abdullah the Butcher is the latest inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame. The 70 year old who lives in Atlanta, GA has never worked for WWE however wrestled for both WCW and ECW and believe it or not, is still active in the ring. He wrestled last at the New Japan Pro Wrestling "Wrestle Kingdom IV" in Tokyo, Japan last year and had a couple of matches in 2009. The man often referred to as ?The Madman from The Sudan? is actually from Ontario, Canada, and owns a restaurant in Atlanta titled ?Abdullah the Butcher?s House of Ribs and Chinese Food?. Abdullah will be inducted by Terry Funk.

There was legitimate fear last Monday night that Jim Ross may have torn his knee when he was attacked by Jack Swagger in the Michael Cole-Jerry Lawler angle on Raw. Jim Ross posted on Twitter: "Moving mighty slow this morning ? I can assure my friends in mma like mauro ranallo that I have a new found respect 4 submission holds ie ankle lock. I?m sore as hell 4 real." There were mixed messages being sent at that night at Raw regarding JR?s status for WrestleMania. A source suggested that Ross would be doing the commentary at Wrestlemania, while another source insisted that a decision had not been made yet.

Jim Ross posted on Twitter: "Don?t know the details but wwe is interested in signing ou grad & son of Vader, Jesse White 6?1?-235. His fcw try out seemingly went well."

Jim Ross also posted on Twitter: "Don?t know how much clearer I can make this 2 all. I am NOT broadcasting @ WM27. I?m doing Axxess appearences Fri nite & Sat am w/ King.". However, the word going around is the WWE is planning on JR calling at least 2 matches at WrestleMania.

The WWE house show in Oklahoma City on March 13th reportedly drew 6,500 fans for a $221,000 gate. That show drew more fans than the house show in Cedar Rapids, IA on March 12th and made more money than the house show in Springfield, MO on March 11th.

The Honky Tonk Man will be shake, rattlin, and rollin later in April when he is released as a free bonus DLC character in WWE All Stars. The Honky Tonk Man would like to thank the millions and millions of his fans world-wide who helped unlock the Greatest and Longest Reigning Intercontinental Champion of all-time with the WWE All Stars Facebook Fantasy Warfare Application. It?s because of you guys, the WWE Games Universe, that the Honky Tonk Man is now apart of one of the greatest videogame rosters ever. It?s now ok to be cool, cocky, and bad in WWE All Stars. It?s the Honky Tonk Man way! To see HTM's likeness on th egame and a video, click here.

The Honky Tonk Man talks about legalizing Marijuana & 9/11 creating jobs in an interview with TruthIsScary.com. You can see the video by clicking here or on the Truth is Scary website.

TNA Wrestling is offering six months of free access to TNAondemand.com library to those who purchased the "Victory Road" pay-per-view to make up for the 90 second main event between Jeff Hardy and Sting. "TNA Wrestling strives to give fans who purchase our pay-per-views as close to a full three-hour event as possible. This past Sunday's TNA Victory Road fell short of that standard. Your support of TNA is never taken for granted," said a statement issued by the company last week. Those who wish to apply for the offer can send a copy of the Victory Road pay-per-view purchase receipt to:

Time Warner on Demand has Team Hogan vs. Team Flair from last year's Lethal Lockdown match from the "Lockdown" pay-per-view event currently available.

Following the Jeff Hardy fiasco at "Victory Road", TNA has decided to get rid of the World Title that was presented to Jeff Hardy after he joined Immortal. While the company did not go to the original world title, a new one was created which Sting carried out during a recent "TNA iMPACT" television taping. Sting gave the old title to Hogan in the opening segment and Hogan threw it away, saying that Hardy let Immortal down because the former champ couldn't live in Hogan's shadow. You can see the opening segment with the new title by clicking here.

Mick Foley posted on Twitter: "Thrilled to be throwing a Birthday Bash for one of my idols ? May 7, Somerset, NJ. For more: www.jimmysuperfulysuka.com"

TNA's Jeremy Borash was recently interviewed by The Sun in the United Kingdom. He said the following about Jim Ross:

"To me, he is the greatest of all time. If you can hear a guy that can bring excitement to a call, adds to the attraction rather than subtracts. "I think he is not given any sort of respect up there (in WWE). At least the respect he deserves. As an announcer, I'm personally offended by it. To me he is the greatest of all time and deserves to be treated that way. If we are going to treat Ric Flair like we treat Ric Flair because he's the greatest of all time then we should do it for Jim Ross too, because to me there has been no-one better. I hear stories about what's going on. Nightmares. To me as an announcer, that pisses me off. Big time."

Bret Hart recently posted a picture of him holding a drawing that he did of Ric Flair. You can see the picture by clicking here.

Roddy Piper posted on Twitter: "WRITING ANOTHER BOOK NOW! WHILE WRITING 1st BOOK, CAME REAL CLOSE TO DIEING IN A CAR CRASH. NEVER FINISHED IT! 5 DAYS INTENSIVE CARE!"

Paul Bearer will be officiating at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new NWA Arena & TV Studios in Nashville, TN on March 26th.
