NEWS
Brian Breaker is currently on a tour of Japan with Pro Wrestling NOAH. He flew there last Friday with Trevor Murdock and landed there right around the time the earthquake began. They had to stay on the plane while on the ground for 7 hours.

No official word from WWE on the WrestleMania announcing team with Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole as one match on the card. However, Booker T has been told he will be at the announce table for the show.

To follow up Jim Ross noting on Twitter that Wrestlemania 27 is not sold out quite yet, WWE released additional tickets for Wrestlemania 27 in Atlanta in higher priced categories on Friday.

Jim Ross posted on Twitter: "Great show in okc sun. Almost 7000 fans. Big crowd 4 Sun afternoon. Anxious to watch Raw 2nite."

One of the contestants on the new season of "WWE Tough Enough" is named Erik Watts. This is not the son of Cowboy Bill Watts. This Erik Watts wrestles on the west coast as "The Big Nasty" Jason Watts, but his real name is Erik.

WWE's latest dig at Hulk Hogan: WWE Classics on Demand is doing a March Mania tournament where they have a 32 man bracket and basically set up different matches that they would air like they were part of a tournament taken from the past. Hulk Hogan was eliminated in the first round as they aired a 1989 match where he was DQ'd against Big Bossman.

Honky Tonk Man is now claiming on his website that Hulk Hogan is planning to leave TNA and return to WWE soon. He claims that Hogan?s contract has a clause in that says he can bail at anytime.

Honky Tonk Man posted on Twitter: "HTM had fun throwing out the first pitch @ the #brewers game. I got the ball across the plate and got a big pop!"

There is a video on You Tube of Jeff Jarrett trying to negotiate with someone from the National Hockey League to take the Stanley Cup on his honeymoon. You can see the video by clicking here.

TNA has sent Jeff Hardy home and he will not be a part of the tapings this week which covers the next two weeks of shows. So far no other disciplinary action has been taken against Hardy who seemed to be under the influence on something yesterday at the show. On his Twitter, Hardy wrote, "things are op," most likely wanting to write "ok" instead of "op." Many in the industry on Twitter did not give their take on the situation, preferring not to speak, however [http://www.wwe.com]WWE.COM[/url]'s Joey Styles didn't care at all and wrote, "Last night, I was watching a 15 year old match of Jeff Hardy as enhancement talent on wweclassics.com. That was wweclassics.com, wasn?t it? ? No hateful replies to my Jeff Hardy tweet this morning. I guess I reconciled with all of you TNA fans and we agree on last night?s debacle." Hardy tried to kick out of Sting's finishing move however Sting kept him down and the look on Hardy's face after Sting's hand was raised explained it all.

Mick Foley commented on Twitter: "Good to see Sting back on Impact. Won?t be at Victory Road"

Mick Foley was at the New Jersey Nets game against the Golden State Warriors last Wednesday night at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. They showed him on the Jumbotron and he got a reaction.

Due to his flight to Missouri being canceled, Ric Flair missed Saturday night's World League Wrestling show in Eldon, MO, a show promoted by Harley Race. When Race heard of Flair's cancellation, he sent out messages to try to find a replacement. WWE called Race and offered to send Ted DiBiase, Jr. DiBiase worked the show as a last minute replacement driving over 340 miles from Wichita, KS to Eldon.

Charlie Haas posted on Twitter last week: "Happy Birthday to my Brother who passed away 9 years ago. RIP Russ. Your legacy lives in my son RUSS Jr. Miss and love you."

Goldberg commented on Twitter: "UFC buys Strikeforce??the monopoly strengthens"

Sika the Wild Samoan is opening a wrestling camp in Pensacola, FL. Anyone interested should contact Sika?s face book page ( search SIKA ANOAI ) , or email at SikaAnoai@gmail.com

You can listen to an interview with Ron Garvin at SquaredCircleSideshow.com.

Paul Orndorff is battling skin cancer which is wrapped around the carotid artery, and cannot be surgically removed. He?s instead having to go through chemotherapy and radiation treatment for it, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

It was rumored last week that Sir Oliver Humperdink had passed away. The rumors are false and at last report he was alive and in stable condition at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. He is expected to be released back to hospice care within the week and he has opted not to receive chemo. Here is the mailing address for those wanting to wish Sir Oliver Humperdink well in the hospital.

An obituary ran in the Memphis Commercial Appeal for 65 year old Samuel P. Ticer. The obituary said Ticer was former professional wrestler Stan Lane of The Fabulous Ones and Midnight Express. This is apparently incorrect as Jim Cornette called Lane and talked to him on the phone. However, when Ticer?s widow was contacted, she said that her husband was in fact the wrestler Stan Lane. Anna Marie Ticer, the widow, now blames her husband for misleading her the last 24 years on being Stan Lane. In a new article she said that she began talking with friends and family of Ticer and discovered her husband lied to her. She said she grew up and her friends and family members considered The Fabulous Ones (Lane & tag team partner Steve Keirn) hearthrobs and she met her husband, who she said looked like Lane, in 1983. "I apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused Mr. Lane, his mother, and our family and friends. I have obviously been misled and given misinformation by my husband, and for this, I am deeply sorry and sincerely apologize. Please now let him rest and let me mourn in grief because I loved him dearly and miss him terribly." You can read the entire story about Mrs. Ticer being lied to by clicking here
