JR's Blog: Brock..GnR..Hitman Tweets..MMA Judging Sux..Batista vs. Shamrock..Cyborg to WWE? Grill w/ JR

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for your support of our site with your orders as we get ready for grilling season and tailgating for Wrestlemania 27. Let's get to cooking...

Here's a collection of random thoughts from a variety of emails and Tweets @JRsBBQ:

I likely won't travel to Vancouver to see Lesnar vs. Dos Santos but would love to. Great city....big time fight...likely to stay home and definitely watch it on PPV. Lesnar refines his stand up defense and he wins it. I'm a Brock guy 100% but greatly respect Dos Santos game.

Yes I used to come out to the entrance music of Guns 'n Roses 'Welcome to the Jungle' but don't ask me why. I prefer 'Boomer Sooner.'

When politicians and smarmy media members knock UFC or WWE its usually because said individuals have an 'uneducated bias' and a professional agenda. In other words, it's generally fertilizer.

http://www.wweshop.com is rocking the international orders for JR's products. Thanks to all in the UK, Canada, Germany, and Australia for ordering. We do not ship outside the USA but http://www.wwesho.com does and they do it very well.

LONG, negative or positive emails to our Q&A section usually are deleted. Write what you want but please keep your thoughts succinct. LONG, rambling emails usually aren't read through and generally get future endeavored.

IF I knew TV surprises why would I share them? I generally don't know the surprises that I see on Raw, for example, and if I did I damn sure wouldn't want to spoil the surprise for others. Am I wrong here?

WWE will be selling our products while they last at WWE Axxess in Atlanta at WWE's primary merchandise stand. I predict that they will sell out in a day or less. Can you help me make that happen? Saves on shipping costs that's for sure.

Adrian Adonis career reminds me somewhat of William 'the Refrigerator' Perry's NFL run. Both essentially ate themselves out of a job. Adonis was an unbelievable in ring performer before he shot up well north of 300 pounds. Adorable Adrian and Dick Murdoch, when they were of a serious mindset, could be as good as any tag team in the biz back in the day. Key term, when they were in a serious mindset.

Prayers to Sir Oliver Humperdink who is battling illness and had a major surgery postponed this week due to him suffering from pneumonia. Hump was all about the eyes, facial expressions and promo ability and he was one of the best managers of his generation. His work with the original Hollywood Blondes was superb. BTW Jerry Brown and Buddy Roberts as the Blondes might be the most underrated tag team ever.

The Mistico name is owned by the wrestling promotion CMLL in Mexico City which is why the athletes formerly known as Mistico is now known as Sin Cara. I expect Sin Cara to debut after WM27 so as to not get lost in the Wrestlemania shuffle so to speak. Right now it's all about WM27 and not about introducing new people. Makes sense to me.

Should we go Kosher with our products? A gentleman said he would buy our BBQ sauce to eat on his PORK ribs if the sauce was Kosher. That statement sort of confused me.

We don't do frozen burgers in our home. Fresh is the only way to go, sorry 'Bubba Burgers.' The key to any great burger, steak, chicken breast, etc on the grill is being able to properly season the product to be grilled and allow it to marinate overnight if possible. Marinating a few hours is the key to taking a dish go from good to great.

In all the talk about the success of Chris Jericho's 'Undisputed' making it's way into the New York Times top ten list at number 9, BTW I've read 'Undisputed' twice and I rarely read any thing twice, let's not forget Mrs Foley's baby boy Mick's 'Countdown to Lockdown.' Great stories, vivid story telling and a book that I truly enjoyed and would recommend that you read. My pal Mick some times reminds me of Ward Clever watching Cinemax in the privacy of his study. BTW....that's not a bad thing.

Yes I would watch a rumored Batista vs. Ken Shamrock MMA fight that is making the rounds on the 'net. However, I'd love to see Kenny hang 'em up and simply train fighters but the name identity that Batista and Shamrock bring to the table would provide more than ample sizzle for any promoter. I'd watch this train wreck I'll honestly admit.

MMA judging continues to embarrass. Thursday night's 'unanimous' decision for Sanchez over Kampmann was a joke. I have no issue with Diego Sanchez winning the fight but winning all three rounds was unbelievable. BTW that fight was 'The Dream' vs. 'The Hitman.'

You can follow the WWE HOF Hitman on Twitter @HitmanBretSHart and Bret has had plenty of combustible things to say this week on Twitter. Bret has never had an issue speaking his mind or how he truly feels about any subject.....BROTHER!

Is Cris Cyborg leaving MMA/Strikeforce to migrate to WWE? Beats the hell out of me just as she would if she chose to but it is an interesting internet rumor. Seeing more athletic, hard hitting women compete in WWE is intriguing for me as a fan. Cris Cyborg is arguably the baddest women on the planet but she would need to learn better English and the art form of pro wrestling or she would run out of opposition in WWE just as she has seemingly done in MMA. Cyborg would be huge draw on a WWE event in Brazil, for example, or so I think.

United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been a long time public servant but she really made herself be perceived as reaching for something that isn't there by saying that pro wrestling hurts the image of America with some foreign countries. I thought this was a joke when I first heard it. It's absurd. Do we not give these foreign leaders more credit for being smarter than Clinton's statement made them out to be?

My favorite @TheRock vs. @steveaustinBSR match was at Wrestlemania 17. These two rocked the Astrodome and raised the bar for Wrestlemania main events just like Undertaker and Shawn Michaels did about a decade later.

Keep us in mind as grilling season nears. We're the perfect fit for your Wrestlemania 27 tailgate parties too. Please tell a friend about our site and products.

Idea of the day for you foodies....use our Main Event Mustard in devil eggs.

We now have all our products including the new, spectacular Main Event Mustard and 97% Fat Free Beef Jerky at all four, Norman, Oklahoma Homeland Grocery stores. The store just east of I-35 in Norman at the Robinson street exit is open 24/7 if you are traveling through our area.

Boomer Sooner!
