NEWS
OECW announced their 2011 Hall of Fame inductees which include J. D. Richards, Carnage, Tom Jones, Kevin Morgan, The New Age Syndicate (Scott Sanders & Shawn Sanders), and The New York Express (Thomas Knight & Jeff Knight).

The Oklahoma Pro Wrestling School has announced that new classes start in April. The OPW School trainers are Red Eagle, Michael Snap, Steve Cox, Treach Phillips, Jr., Cole Crittenden, Bull Schmitt, and Pete Maguire. Schmitt is senior trainer and Maguire is CEO.

Abdullah the Butcher and The Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) are expected to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year in Atlanta, GA. Abdullah will be inducted by Terry Funk and The Road Warriors will be inducted by Dusty Rhodes. Tammy Sytch (?Sunny?) is also expected to be inducted. Bob Armstrong, patriarch of the Armstrong clan, was announced last night. He is the father of Brad Armstrong, Steve Armstrong, B. G. James, and Scott Armstrong, who just returned as a WWE referee a few weeks ago. The only other names officially announced for the HOF thus far are Shawn Michaels and ?Hacksaw? Jim Duggan.

Goldberg posted on Twitter: "No WWE plans on the horizon?don?t believe rumors. Is what it is."

Jerry Lawler appeared in Dayton, OH at the Dayton Gems hockey game at the Hara Arena this past Friday night. He signed autographs and photos and dropped the puck at the start of the game.

The Blue Meanie suggested on his Facebook page last week that WWE has Natalya referee the Jerry Lawler-Michael Cole match at WrestleMania and call it the first ever Nat King Cole Match.

The Honky Tonk Man posted on Twitter: "'Bullett' Bob Armstrong will be the next inductee announced for the WWE Hall of Fame on RAW. Congratulations Bob!"

The Honky Tonk Man posted on Twitter: "Sting as the new TNA Champion. The oldest TNA Champion in history and the 4th oldest champion in any company at 52. Yikes"

Later in the week, The Honky Tonk Man posted on Twitter: "HTM will be honored at the 2011 Cauliflower Alley Club reunion April 18th in Las Vegas with the Active Men?s Wrestling Award"

On Monday, Honky Tonk Man posted on Twitter: "Have to take our hats off to McMahon. Wrestlemania wouldn?t be here if it wasn?t for him. He knows how to put on the big show"

Mick Foley posted on Twitter Monday night: "Wandered in while my kids were watching The Rock on Raw. Wow, what a promo!"

You can see a preview of Mick Foley?s comic RPM #3 by clicking here.

The shocking surprise of the year that TNA promised during Thursday's iMPACT! ended up being a promo ripped off from WWE's 2-21-11 angle but instead of that date, the date 3-3-11 was shown. The promo had rain, a man in trench coat and a cabin/house and was filmed the same way the promo for Undertaker's return was. Even how the 3-3-11 date goes up in smoke it was a blatant rip off of the WWE version. Sting agreed to a new deal with TNA and his first appearance on "TNA iMPACT!" will be March 3rd. You can see the promo by clicking here.

Gail Gagne, the granddaughter of Verne Gagne and daughter of Greg Gane, and a former high school teacher, has agreed to be found guilty to misdemeanor charges of having sex with one of her students as part of a trial by stipulation. It is not a guilty plea, though, and Gagne, will learn next month if a judge agrees she is, in fact, guilty - and if so, what her sentence should be. To read the story about the court case, click here.

Charlie Haas will be a part of New Japan?s USA tour in May.

Oklafan extends its condolences to Percival Pringle III, who's aunt passed away on Tuesday.
