On Wednesday, Charlie Haas posted on Twitter: "9 years to the day that my brother Russ passed away. Long live the ?Haas Brothers?.

The World's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin) signed full time contracts with Ring of Honor during intermission of ROH's "Final Battle 2010" in New York, NY. There is a video with them and Jim Cornette on You Tube that was shot in Louisville, KY prior to traveling to New York. To see that video, click here.

Last week, Goldberg posted on Twitter: "Big congrats to my friend Alice Cooper for his Rock & Roll HOF induction".

Paul Bearer posted on Twitter last week: "?I will also tell you that my WWE contract IS NOT completely over, in fact I have a couple of months remaining. Considering my personal past, age, and other issues, I knew in my heart that I couldn?t take on a full time schedule that most of the roster, many less than half my age, were doing.?

Dixie Carter announced via her Twitter last week that a Best of Mick Foley in TNA DVD is due out in 2011.

Jeff Jarrett continues his localized angles while promoting the TNA European tour. He was in Germany Thursday, and did an angle with a German musician. Jarrett challenged him to a match, and he said that he's not a wrestler but will get an opponent for Jarrett.

Ric Flair's name was mentioned on ESPN's "Around the Horn" last Tuesday. Bomani Jones had a replica of Flair's old world title belt on his shoulder and said "Shout out to Ric Flair."

In the new issue of the DC/Vertigo comic SCALPED, a small town Nebraska sheriff named Wooster T. Krakow has a picture of Ric Flair on his desk, with the inscription, "To Woooooster, Ric Flair."

Ring of Honor will be holding a training seminar and tryout camp on January 23rd from 10am to 7pm in Philadelphia, PA. The promotion has already started using Mike Bennett and Michael Elgin from earlier camps. The seminar will be run by Jim Cornette, Cary Silkin, Delirious, David Lagana, Kevin Kelly, and Jerry Lynn. There will be video tapes with promo pointers, matches on tape, as well as talk about conditioning, appearance and attitude. It's open to anyone with at least one year experience. Rasslin Riot online announced its Memphis Wrestling Hall of Fame Class of 2010 as The Nightmares (Danny Davis & Ken Wayne), Downtown Bruno, Buddy Wayne, announcer Dave Brown, Robert Fuller, The Moondogs with manager Richard Lee, Randy Savage, and Jimmy Hart.

The Sydney Daily Telegraph ran a story on the death of King Curtis Iaukea last week. Iaukea was one of the most famous wrestlers in the country when wrestling was on national television in the 60's and early 70's promoted by Jim Barnett and the Australia territory was considered at the time for most wrestlers as the best place to make good money in wrestling in the world.
