NEWS
Maximum Wrestling Alliance has announced that their radio show hosted by Scott James and featuring "The Space Cowboy" Jason Jones has been rescheduled for this Thursday, November 18th, at 10pm Central. This show was originally scheduled for November 4th but was postponed due to a scheduling conflict. You can listen to the show live or archives of past shows by clicking here.

A taping of "WWE Friday Night SmackDown!" will be held on January 18, 2011 in Tulsa at the BOK Center. Tickets go on sale December 4th.

Triple H and Shawn Michaels kind of buried Bill Goldberg as far as going into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. HHH said they try to do a "legitimate" Hall of Fame and honor guys who deserve it, and both said he didn't wrestle enough years. He then said there are legends like Bruno Sammartino that should be in but they are holding out because they think they've got one more run. Hopefully it was something, when it comes to Sammartino, that reads sounding like something he didn't mean. As for Goldberg, not sure he was in long enough, but that hasn't stopped them from begging Ultimate Warrior several times, who was really not in all that long either.

The WWE Legends that were featured on "Old School RAW" last night included Bob Orton, Jr., Tony Atlas, Gene Okerlund, Howard Finkel, The Brooklyn Brawler, Harvey Wippleman, The Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, Slick, Jimmy Snuka, George Steele, Arn Anderson, Gerald Brisco, Jim Duggan, Dusty Rhodes, Ted DiBiase, Irwin R. Shyster, Tatanka, Ron Simmons, Tito Santana, Chavo Classic, Sgt. Slaughter, Mae Young, Jim Ross, and Roddy Piper. Jerry Lawler also was back at the broadcast table after a one week absence.

Jerry Lawler?s left knee is swollen from the knee down to the foot. They are saying it is a possible staph infection, but actually do not know what it is. Even though it is believed it happened at the Forrest City show, Lawler is not sure what he did to make it happen. His doctor advised him to not do "WWE Monday Night RAW" on November 8th due to the 10 hour flight to England, because it would be dangerous by increasing chances of blood clots.

Jim Ross provided more details on Jerry ?The King? Lawler missing the November 8th "Monday Night RAW" taping in Manchester, England due to a knee injury: "The King missed a rare, Monday night Raw this week from Manchester, England with a severe infection that came as a result of a knee injury. Jerry is getting a daily dose of antibiotics via an IV and hopes to be feeling better soon. He told me Monday that his knee felt better and that an expert physician in infections was addressing the King?s condition. The King doesn?t have staph infection as I understand it which is good news. Jerry is very resilient and I?m relatively confident that he will be back on the air when Raw does their three hour, Old School broadcast.? A few days later, Ross posted the following on Twitter: "Talked to king 2nite. He?s got a severe staph infection confirmed in his knee. Daily IV injections of antibiotics. May have 2 it cut out."

Sgt. Slaughter was in San Francisco last week as part of a KSAN radio campaign to raise $500,000 for Make-a-Wish. Among those also appearing were Mickey Hart of the Grateful Dead, Jonathan Cain of Journey, Huey Lewis, Eddie Money, and Sammy Hagar.

WWEDVDNews.com has confirmed two more scheduled released for 2011, "The History of WrestleMania" and a multi-disc set on "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase.

The new WWE DVD release on the career of Bobby Heenan had listings. It's mostly a series of skits and angles, including some AWA stuff from the 70s, but mostly WWF and WCW. It includes Heenan matches from the AWA against Lord Al Hayes, Greg Gagne, teaming with Nick Bockwinkel against Hulk Hogan, as well as WWE matches with Sal Bellomo and Ultimate Warrior. The match against Warrior is a Weasel Suit Match.

The list of talent on WWE?s Top 50 Superstars of All Time DVD was leaked on to the internet. The list is already sparking fierce debate across message boards. The complete list, which was signed off on by Vince McMahon, is as follows:

1. Shawn Michaels
2. The Undertaker
3. Steve Austin
4. Bret Hart
5. The Rock
6. Harley Race
7. Ricky Steamboat
8. Andre the Giant
9. Rey Mysterio
10. Roddy Piper
11. Eddie Guerrero
12. Triple H
13. Gorgeous George
14. Randy Savage
15. Curt Hennig
16. John Cena
17. Ric Flair
18. Dusty Rhodes
19. Edge
20. Jerry Lawler
21. Lou Thesz
22. Terry Funk
23. Hulk Hogan
24. Bruno Sammartino
25. Chris Jericho
26. Ted DiBiase
27. The Fabulous Moolah
28. Freddie Blassie
29. Randy Orton
30. Pat Patterson
31. The Iron Sheik
32. Jimmy Snuka
33. Mick Foley
34. Kurt Angle
35. Buddy Rogers
36. Gorilla Monsoon
37. Junkyard Dog
38. Billy Graham
39. Jake Roberts
40. The Big Show
41. Jack Brisco
42. Sgt. Slaughter
43. Kane
44. Nick Bockwinkel
45. Jeff Hardy
46. Dory Funk, Jr.
47. Bob Backlund
48. Rick Rude
49. Batista
50. Killer Kowalski

On reflection it?s a good list if you look at the rankings in no particular order, otherwise it just seems silly. George, Thesz, and Bockwinkel are strange inclusions in that none of those guys really worked for Vince McMahon Jr. or Sr., unless of course this is supposed to be a list of all-time greats not restricted to just WWE. Also strange is that Hogan (23) and Sammartino (24) didn?t even make the Top 10 which is a complete travesty as they built the company and drove business forward during the 1970s and 1980s. The most obvious omissions from the list are Pedro Morales and Antonino Rocca, and to no surprise Chris Benoit. The DVD goes on sale on December 14th.

Some of the matches on that DVD will include:

-Lou Thesz vs. Argentina Rocca
-Jack Brisco vs. Dory Funk Jr.
-The Fabulous Moolah vs. Susan Green (6/16/75)
-Harley Race vs. Terry Funk (2/6/77)
-Andre the Giant vs. Gorilla Monsoon (9/23/77)
-Dusty Rhodes vs. Billy Graham (9/26/77)
-The Iron Sheik vs. Hulk Hogan (12/28/84)
-Junkyard Dog, Roddy Piper, & Ricky Steamboat vs. Harley Race, Randy Savage, & Adrian Adonis (2/23/87)
-Rick Rude vs. Ricky Steamboat (12/26/87)
-Jerry Lawler vs. Curt Hennig (8/13/88)
-Jake Roberts vs. Ted DiBiase (12/28/89)
-Ric Flair vs. Bret Hart (10/12/92)
-Mankind vs. The Rock (1/31/99)

lav Bulgaria was recently signed to a WWE developmental deal. He trained at Rikishi?s wrestling school in Burbank, CA.

Mick Foley appeared on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" last Wednesday night. You can the show by clicking here.

Mick Foley on TSN?s "Off the Record" show that aired last Wednesday night said he would happily accept a WWE Hall of Fame offer following the company?s recent book plug during "WWE Monday Night RAW". Regarding his health, he said his knees are in the condition of that of a 90-year-old (basically shot) and estimated suffering between 12-100 career concussions. Foley also revealed he?s had conversations with Chris Nowinski about post-concussion syndrome and has agreed to donate his brain to the Sports Legacy Institute after his death. You can watch the entire interview by clicking here.

Mick Foley was guest DJ on "E Street Radio" this past Friday.

Alan Keoghan had scheduled two events this weekend in Maynoorth County, Kildare, Ireland, but canceled them both, blaming that some of the names he booked wanted to leave the show early which "for the money charged by the stars is unacceptable," blaming Mick Foley, Lilian Garcia and Candice Michelle. Agent Seven Woolf, who booked the three, said, "I would like to clear the air so wrestling fans understand about the cancellations of Mick Foley, Candice Michelle and Lilian Garcia for the Wrestlezone Ireland event. I booked all three for this event six months ago. We have signed contracts in which all the terms of appearance have been clearly spelled out and agreed to by both sides. Now suddenly this promoter, Alan Keoghan, has canceled all three stating that they are overpriced. The fees charged this promoter are their normal booking fees for International appearances. Alan is also upset that Mick Foley has scheduled two book signings in London prior to his event. Mick is paying his own airfare to London and we can't see how a book signing in another country could hurt his business. It's apples and oranges, it's just not the same thing...Speaking on behalf of Mick, Candice and Lilian, all three were prepared to make their appearances both days for the agreed upon times and were looking forward to meeting all their Irish fans. But this promoter has now turned into an unprofessional belligerent person. We feel bad that these fans have paid a lot of money to attend the Wrestlezone Ireland event and now won't be able to get what they paid for due to what appears to be a very wishy washy promoter. I might add, he never booked airfare for Candice and Lilian as per the agreement. When a promoter signs an agreement agreeing to all the terms and conditions, it is his obligation to the talent and the wrestling fans to abide by it."

Ohio Valley Wrestling announced there will be four shows in four nights from December 8th through 11th at the Davis Arena in Louisville, KY.
