A picture of Randy Orton as a young child with Andre the Giant can be seen by clicking here.

Linda McMahon was on "Face the Nation" Sunday morning. They called her one of the crazy candidates, showing her kicking Jim Ross in the groin and the host called her "Linda MacMann (pronounced like Gerald Brisco would) from the World Wrestling Federation." They are really pushing that Obama was on WWE TV in 2008 when criticism of the product comes up.

Jakks Pacific's "TNA Genesis" series is now available at Family Dollar stores. These figures are limited in detail and retail for $3 each. The first series includes Suicide, Jeff Jarrett, Kurt Angle, A. J. Styles, Samoa Joe and Sting. It should also be noted that in all of the TNA action figure lines, the Suicide figure is not labeled as "Suicide" but as the letter M like design that is on the front of his outfit.

Delirious with handle the booking duties, with the assistance of Jim Cornette. Pearce issued a comment on the situation on his Twitter page and in that, he thanked Cornette for being a great mentor to him. He also said the "creative/in-ring" side and the "business" side of wrestling is like oil and water and they don't mix. You can read Pearce's comment on his Twitter page at Twitter.com/ScrapDaddyAP.

Oklafan would like to extend a belated congratulations to Johnny Z, who surpassed 6 months as MSWA Mid-South Heavyweight Champion on August 7th. He defeated Aaron Neil for the title on February 7, 2010 at a show in Midwest City.

John "Mr. Wrestling II" Walker's open heart surgery is scheduled for Wednesday in Charlotte. Everyone should think some good thoughts about him. He provided people with tons of entertainment over the years, both as Johnny Walker and more famously during his Georgia run in the 1970s as Mr. Wrestling II, where he was the top star for years in the territory. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.

Oklafan was saddened to learn of the death of former WWE star Lance Cade, who passed away from heart failure at the age of 29. Cade, whose real name was Lance McNaught, was trained by Shawn Michaels and debuted in 2000. By 2001 had made it to the Heartland Wrestling Association, one of the developmental federations for the WWE. While in the HWA, he held the Tag Team Titles 5 times with 3 different partners, including Mike Sanders, Steve Bradley, & Johnny the Bull. By 2003, Cade was competing in Ohio Valley Wrestling and soon made his way to the RAW roster, where he became known as Garrison Cade. Cade formed a tag team with Mark Jindrak and had brief feuds with Lance Storm & Val Venis, The Dudley Boys, and The Hurricane & Rosey. By 2004, Cade?s partnership with Jindrak had ended and after a brief solo run, he changed his name back to Lance Cade and formed a team with Trevor Murdoch. On September 18, 2005, Cade & Murdoch won the WWE RAW World Tag Team Title from The Hurricane & Rosey at the ?Unforgiven? pay-per-view in Oklahoma City on August 18, 2005. They held those titles until November 1st of the same year, when they lost them to The Big Show & Kane. Cade & Murdoch would separate for about 6 months, then reunite and remain constant contenders for the belts until they finally regained them from The Hardy Boyz on June 4, 2007. This title reign lasted a little over 3 months until they lost them to Paul London & Brian Kendrick on September 5, 2007. But 3 days later, Cade & Murdoch won the titles for the 3rd and final time, holding the titles for 3 months until losing them to Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes on December 10th. Cade & Murdoch continued to team together until April 2008, when dissention began to split them after Murdoch began to indulge his singing hobby. Cade aligned himself with Chris Jericho in the summer of 2008, but was unexpectedly released by the WWE on October 14. Cade spent the better part of a year competing in the NWA, even reforming his tag team with Trevor Murdock. He was re-signed to the WWE in October 2009 and went through a 30-day rehab stint in February 2010, but was released in April without ever making it back to TV. At the time of his death, he was expected to make a tour of Japan for All-Japan Pro wrestling. Besides his 1st WWE World Tag Team Title win, Cade has 2 other confirmed Oklahoma appearances: As Garrison Cade, he lost to Lance Storm in Tulsa on June 14, 2003. He also teamed with Trevor Murdoch and went to a Double DQ against D-Generation X in the last component of a Gauntlet Match on the WWE RAW broadcast in Oklahoma City on September 25, 2006. Oklafan extends its condolensces to Cade?s family and friends.
