Hi everyone. I just wanted to get the word out about tonight's Impact. I try not to be too much of a cheerleader when it comes to these shows, but when I do see something special, I will do my best to go out of my way to talk about it. And, in my opinion, tonight's episode is something special. I will be putting more thoughts down on my weekly weblog for www.tnawrestling.com , but for now, I just wanted to get the word out that this episode is one NOT to be missed. You know something is up when A. J. Styles and Kurt Angle have a great televised match and it's not even the subject of the day. Quite simply, Beer Money and the Motor City Machine Guns tear the place down in what has got to be one of the best tag matches I've ever seen. I would love for longtime fans to dust off their Slaughter and Kernodle vs Steamboat and Youngblood VHS tapes or some of the other classics of the ages just to compare. I'm not dismissing those other matches either; just throwing around my opinion that this one is about as good as it gets.

Don't turn off those sets after the match either. RVD and Abyss get downright nasty in a "Stairway to Janice" match, and there is a pretty brutal surprise on tap for those who have resisted the urge to find out what went on in the Impact Zone.

Thanks to everyone who has spread the word about the fire that cost Luna Vachon over 20 years of wrestling memories. Luna is fine, and thankful to be safe, but she sure does miss all those memories she collected over the years. If anyone has any extra Luna stuff laying around (photos, magazines, action figures, etc.) I am sure she would love to have it. You can send it to her at:

Only four days until my debut on "Warren the Ape" (Monday, 10:30, MTV) This is not just a cameo either - it's a genuine co-starring gig (for one episode) on a show that was absolutely one of the most fun experiences I've had in the world of TV. For those who have no clue what "Warren" is all about, take a look on www.warren.MTV.com And after watching, if you find yourself wondering "did that elbow turn out as planned?", the answer is "absolutely not. The pain (and the language) that follows is very, very real. Check it out if you can.

I will be back here soon, no doubt plugging my book "Countdown to Lockdown", which will be available in bookstores everywhere on October 1st.
