Another scorching day in Oklahoma...almost too hot to go outside for any length of time. However, it's not too hot to order BBQ Sauce, Chipotle Ketchup or Beef Jerky and we are turning your orders around quickly. Thanks for those that support the site with their business. It's appreciated.

I look forward to heading to Charlotte this Thursday and meeting the fans Thursday night from 9-10 p.m. at the informal BBQ that promoter Greg Price has organized. Greg has purchased several cases of signed bottles of our products that he will be selling at the NWA Legends Fanfest this Thursday-Sunday. I will not have sauces with me personally nor will I be working any vendor tables. I will be signing Friday with such notables as my old, broadcast partner Bob Caudle and the greatest wrestler alive today, Danny Hodge.

Dusty Rhodes told me he had a great time seeing all his old friends when he attended the Charlotte Fanfest event and I am excited about doing the same...if you will.

One of my earliest mentors, General Skandar Akbar, will be there and I am anxious to visit with him. Ak also played a major role in mentoring Steve Austin back in the day, along with the late Bronco Lubich, who both took the young Austin under their wing while Steve worked in World Class. Akbar was one of the strongest men in the business back in the day and played fullback for the Vernon, Texas Lions once upon a time. Helluva guy.

I have about 1,000 lines to go to complete my work on the WWE All Star video game which will be rolled out in early 2011 prior to Wrestlemania 27 in Atlanta. It will feature some amazing legends and many of today's top stars in a format where some of the most spectacular dream match scenarios ever can be presented. It also puts the King and me back together in the announce booth which I hope you will enjoy. THQ feels that this will be its most unique and spectacular video game ever in the genre. Thus far my best day in production has me topping out at a little over 400 lines in just over two hours. It's like doing cardio.

The All Star game was a big hit I am told at the prestigious E3 convention not long ago. This is a great opportunity for fans young and old alike to create matches and teams that they have only been able to day dream about in the past. As you can tell, I'm very excited about this project.

I've been answering a bunch of Tweets that many have sent @JRsBBQ and I hope that you will add me to your 'following list' today.

Steve Austin called me yesterday and he's been hitting the promotional trail hard working on 'The Expendables' which has its Hollywood premier tonight and opens in theaters August 13 which is Summer Slam weekend. Steve just finished yet another movie in Vancouver and is weighing several options on other films that are being pitched to him. Steve is such a devout wrestling fan that I honestly feel like that if he wasn't' loaded with projects and commitments that he would love to attend the NWA Legends Fanfest in Charlotte if only as a fan. You can follow Steve on Twitter @steveaustinBSR.

Monday's Raw was solid and the dilemma that the Raw 7 has found themselves in as they prepare to face the Nexus 7 at Summer Slam continued to be the broadcasts focus. Heck of a main event next week with John Cena and Bret Hart teaming to face Edge and Chris Jericho in a main event which has a clearly, Canadian flavor.

Enjoyed the work of Wade Barrett on Raw vs Edge. The Brit should be a prime time player if all continues to go well with his evolution in and out of the ring. Barrett certainly has the physical and verbal skills it would seem to be a main eventer in time. Hopefully he stays healthy and sane....which I believe he will although some don't.

Am I the only one anxious to get a better hint of Nexus' motives as it relates to their actions and deeds? Nonetheless I am enjoying the interactions with Nexus and other WWE superstars as the Nexus biz still feels fresh to me.

If you check out www.wwe.com be sure and look at the news tab on the home page for my blogs. Nice exposure for sure.

An emailer asked me if the real reason that we work so hard on this site answering Q&A's and writing blogs is to build traffic so as to sell more products. After quick deliberation ,the answer is "Hell, yes!" If we don't sell products then investing hours and hours on the site likely would not occur. That, my friends, is a man being totally honest.

Emailer...do I think that WWE will ever utilize a female as a PXP or color commentator? I think it is inevitable and is a matter of when not if.

Emailer...Would I like to see a storyline between Goldust vs. his brother Cody Rhodes? No. They both have their own agendas and both have different roles within WWE. I'm not sure pitting them against each other really helps either guy. Plus, their old man can still kick either of their asses.

Emailer...No I doubt very seriously that any WWE Divas will be posing any time soon for the feature spot in Playboy. PG philosophy would not permit such artistic display.

Emailer...the wrestling boots that one of my favorite NXT athletes, Husky Harris, wears are likely from the Austin-Hall boot company in Texas as I recall. Husky's granddad Blackjack Mulligan and his uncle Barry Windham both wore Austin Hall's as did Dusty Rhodes.

Emailer...if Sting, as the alleged rumors have it, goes into the WWE HOF in Atlanta in 2011, I will be totally shocked but pleased that Stinger got the nod. As long as Sting works for another wrestling company the odds of him being inducted in WWE's HOF are slim to none. Plus, I'm not sure how important the accolade is to Sting. There won't be any shortage of great inductees for Atlanta in 2011 I assure you.

After being paid all that cash to go to the Redskins, for Albert Haynesworth not to have enough pride in his profession and respect for his teammates to get his big ass in shape so he can help his team win is embarrassing. Examine this matter any way one chooses but Haynesworth and his agent likely cashed the checks already paid by the 'Skins but the hugely, no pun intended, talented defensive lineman moans about 'his' role in a 3-4 defense instead of prioritizing his professional issues on how he can help Washington win the Super Bowl. God blessed Albert Haynesworth with ample talent and it seems as if Albert thinks his talent and his football life is only about him. Sad.

I will believe that Bret Favre isn't coming back to the Vikings this fall when he's not on the field for the first game and not one minute before no matter what anyone, including #4, says.

Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, most likely, can say thanks to Sam Bradford's massive $78M contract w/ $50M in guaranteed money for helping them get even more cash from their respective, NFL teams. Veterans deserve the cash because they've played and earned it. I'm grateful that a personal friend like Sam Bradford got life changing money, without question, but the NFL seriously needs to evaluate what rookies are being paid particularly in guaranteed funds. The system seems out of whack to me.
