NEWS
Michael Barry will be a guest on WrestleOutLoud.com's "The Kingpin & 13 Show" on Thursday, August 5th at 10pm Central. The show is hosted by former ECW star Angel the Kingpin, formerly of Da Baldies. Barry said he will be talking about upcoming shows and of course, Excellence Personified.

WWE is expected to push for The Ultimate Warrior to accept their invitation to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next year in Atlanta, GA. The Fabulous Freebirds and Arn Anderson are names being mentioned for possible induction, but according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, neither can be the ?main event? attraction.

Jim Ross posted on Twitter last week: "The President of the United States going 2 b a guest on "The View." What the hell? Who's advising commander n chief? Media will kill this."

A Peter Schiff TV commercial showing Linda McMahon kicking Jim Ross low a half dozen times can be seen by clicking here.

A new match has been confirmed for the upcoming Chris Jericho DVD. It will feature Jericho vs. Dean Malenko from the June 27, 1998 edition of "WCW Monday Nitro". This joins the other two confirmed matches of Jericho vs. Lance Storm from their wrestling debuts and Jericho vs. Cactus Jack from ECW.

Mick Foley, who often said that he doesn't know how to operate a computer that much, has joined Twitter under the account Twitter.com/RealMickFoley. Over 2,000 followers has so far added the hardcore legend to their accounts and Foley's few tweets so far all came from a cell phone via text message rather than a computer. "JB is trying to guide me through this initial stage," he wrote, referring to TNA's Jeremy Borash. The New York Times best selling author is best known for writing all his books on a note pad using a pen rather than using any kind of technology, giving his editors a serious headache in the process.

Jakks Pacific's "TNA Cross the Line" two packs are now in stores. The first set includes Beer Money, Kevin Nash & Scott Steiner, and Mick Foley & Samoa Joe.

It appears former Shane Douglas is joining Lance Storm, Mikey Whipwreck, and Steve Corino in claiming not to be headed to the August 8th "TNA Hardcore Justice" pay-per-view. According to reports, Douglas has confirmed to FanHouse that he has turned down an offer to be a part of the show unless something drastic happens over the next week.

One match that was discussed for the August 8th "TNA Hardcore Justice" pay-per-view would have pitted long-time rivals Ric Flair vs. Shane Douglas. Flair was approached about doing the match, but rejected it.

The Baltimore Sun wrote a small piece on cornerback Fabian Washington of the Baltimore Ravens, who has written that he's going into Ric Flair mode this year. He explained that he meant he would always be wired and exciting, and he was going to borrow Flair's identity.

ShopTNA.com has several new items up for sale including a brand new Ric Flair T-shirt and key chain combo for only $12.99. They have also listed several new entrance themes for download including Jeff Hardy, Dixie Carter, Ink Inc., Jay Lethal, Desmond Wolfe, and Mr. Anderson.

Jeff Jarrett has opened his own Youtube channel at YouTube.com/JeffJarrettTNA. It features some very interesting videos of Jeff on the road, doing interviews, and more.

Jeff Jarrett wrote on Monday on his official Twitter page in regards to hints he was dropping about a ?big surprise? about TNA??And I will state this again, the reason no hints for a while?a NDA (Non-disclosure agreement) was signed.?
