It's been a busy but fun and productive weekend in Tampa at the FCW at the WWE tryout camp. Here's some thoughts on the camp and other random thoughts.

Enjoyed being around the 63 wrestlers who are trying out in Tampa this weekend and that ends Monday. Had an especially good time w/ Dusty Rhodes and the entire FCW crew who all do a great job teaching the fundamentals of the wrestling biz.

It's hard for me to say how many prospects to be offered contracts but my best guess is that it will be in single digits likely between 2-5.

Really had a good time talking to many of the prospects Saturday and Sunday. I enjoy mentoring and helping these young people achieve their goals.

Mathematically, it's tougher to earn a spot on a WWE roster than it is to make a 53 man NFL roster.

Goldust spoke to the group on Sunday and did anazingly well addressing the group and answering their questions. I heard R Truth also did a nice job addressing the group Friday. John Cena will neet w/ them on Monday morning.

As I understand it, WWE officials will award contracts to the most deserving candidates Monday afternoon. I wish them all good luck and hope that those who don't leave w/ a deal stay positive and continue to chase an elusive dream.

See great sories featuring Steve Austin coming up in Entertainment Weekly and in Sunday's New York Post re: 'The Expendables.'

Not happy Sunday night as no 'Versus' in my Tampa hotel room meaning I'll miss UFC fights Sunday evening. Damn.

The real HBK is definitely on Twitter @ShawnMichaels_. He's on Facebook, too. HBK reportedly had a great time visiting with everyone Monday in his hometown of San Antonio at Raw.

We're not working on Honey BBQ Sauce but we are working on JR's Main Event Mustard. Hope to get it done this year but won't rush it and it HAS to be great. It will be sweet and spicy.

WWE tour 'down under' doing stout biz at box office. Smackdown crew still there. Over $2M in ticket sales in first 2 nights.

Nice exposure for Ol JR at www.wwe.com on home page under the news tab.

Emailer...Yes WM17 in the Houston Astrodome was one of my favorites. Austin vs. Rock w/ Mr. McMahon involvement was money. Great intensity by all. Enjoyed handling the broadcast w/ Paul Heyman.

Three of the Oklahoma Sooner kids who I've become close with including Sam Bradford, Gerald McCoy, and Trent Williams signed their NFL deals w/ for over $100M in guaranteed money. Jermaine Gresham should have his deal done at any time w/ New England. All are fans of JR's BBQ Sauces and Chipotle Ketchup.

Emailer..no issues with me w/ my voice off the WWE signature that opens each show as it's been off for a few weeks now. Who knows, some day it may be added when the signature is once again re-edited. Everyone who has contributed to the WWE's success over the years can't fit into a few seconds. This matter is 'old news' and not 'big news.'

Emailer..actually I have yet to see WWE's new logo. Things change and change isn't always bad.

Emailer..I don't choose to name names that I liked or didn't that took part in the FCW/WWE camp. That's not fair in my opinion.

Emailer..I am still employed w/ WWE and happily so.

Emailer..no I am NOT the secret GM of Raw. Let's put that one to rest.

Thanks to all who have become first time customers of our products.

Heading home Monday before leaving for Charlotte and the NWA Legends Fanfest on Thursday for the Thursday evening BBQ...I'll be there from 9-10p.m. and all day on Friday concluding w/ the banquet on Friday night. Really looking forward to it. Will break out the black hat.

Come back and see us. Many thanks.

Boomer Sooner!
