NEWS
Kraig Keesaman announced on his Facebook page last week that his match against Jimmy Rockwell on July 9th at 3XWrestling's 5 year anniversary event in Des Moines, IA will be his last match and he will be retiring after over 10 years in wrestling.

The WWE website posted it's opinion on the Top 25 IC champs of all-time. In reverse order, Top 10 is Randy Orton, Pedro Morales, Bret Hart, Razor Ramon, Honky Tonk Man, Pat Patterson, Mr Perfect, Ultimate Warrior, Chris Jericho, and Randy Savage. For the entire list and story, click here.

Ted DiBiase Sr. (Million Dollar Man) is said to be recovering well following his recent neck surgery. He worked the E3 video game convention last week in Los Angeles and was part of the THQ booth with his son, Ted Jr., promoting the upcoming WWE video game. Organizers said the DiBiases had the best turn out of the entire event. They did the old gimmick of making people do things for money, such as kiss their feet or bark like a dog.

Last week, Jim Ross wrote on Twitter: "Working on Oct 1 okc/live SDown event today. Gonna be big." Ross also posted the following on Twitter after WWE released Savannah: "Sorry 2 hear Savannah got released. Nice, young lady. It happens 2 best of us. New HOT jr's bbq sauce is in! THQ v/o's start nx wk."

Steve Austin was a guest on "Live Audio Wrestling" to promote his latest film "The Stranger". He was fairly diplomatic. He said Jim Ross was a great friend and instrumental in his career but understands why WWE chooses not to use him as an announcer. "It's just a case of the WWE wanting to go in a different direction and maybe get younger. The show has changed, it?s a PG rated show so Jim fits into that but the Stone Cold character not so much. That?s just the business and sooner or later your time is up and I guess they figured his time was up. I love Jim Ross and I think he?s the greatest announcer in the history of the business and there?s been a couple of outstanding ones and lots of good ones but I put him at the top of the list ? and that?s just the wrestling business." You can hear Austin's interview in its entirety at LiveAudioWrestling.com.

Vader has been added to the WWE Alumni page.

Beth Phoenix posted the following message on her Twitter: "Approaching 6th Week. Going to Focus on some new training techniques. Making my ring offense more dangerous N hard hitting than ever"

Dos Caras Jr. is expected to debut on WWE television soon under the name Alberto Del Rio. Caras, Jr. is the son of legendary Mexican Luchadore Dos Caras, the nephew of Mil Mascaras and Sicodelico, and the cousin of Sicodelico, Jr. and Hijo del Sicodelico, making him part of one of the most well known Mexican wrestling families. He also speaks great English. Before pro wrestling, he was part of Mexico's national Greco-Roman wrestling team. He placed third at the World Junior Championships in 1997, won the Central American and Caribbean Games in his weight division three times, and won a medal at the Pan American Games in 1999. He was on track to compete at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, but due to lack of funding, Mexico did not send a wrestling team that year. He's also competed on-and-off in MMA with a record of 9-5-0 dating back to 2001. At Pride's Bushido 1 event in 2003, he fought Mirko Cro Cop, in an open challenge where the rules were amended so he could wear a Lucha mask, but he was knocked out with a sick head kick, in 46 seconds of the first round. Caras Jr. has also previously wrestled for Mexican wrestling promotions Asistencia Asesor?a y Administraci?n and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre.

Not sure how long this rule has been in place, and it may have been for a while, but as well as a no choking rule in WWE, apparently there is also now a no chopping rule. As in a Ric Flair chop.

During the morning on Monday, the hosts on Sports Radio AM 1130 WDFN in Detroit, MI were talking about Ric Flair being a big hockey fan.

TNA Today talks about a Ric Flair private meet & greet, after party and other activities related to the July 11th "Victory Road" show, plus an interview with Kurt Angle.

Mick Foley is expected back full-time with TNA in a month or two.

The upcoming TNA video game for the Nintendo DS features Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angle, and A. J. Styles on the cover. The PSP version features Sting, Kurt Angle, and A. J. Styles.

Jake Roberts was interviewed at RingTheBellRadio.com and talked about the origin of his gimmick. "I came up with the idea on my own. I was a Ken Stabler fan, he used to play for the Oakland Raiders. He was a wild child on and off of the football field. His nickname was "The Snake". I always liked the name Jake, and during that time there was a TV show called "Dallas". One of the characters on that show was JR. So I came up with Jake 'The Snake' Roberts." Roberts says he's currently writing a book and creating some of his own DVDs.

Dutch Mantell is currently working on a second wrestling book due out in September.
