Monday Night Raw in Charlotte started off really hot and intriguing last night featuring the follow up on the NXT Invasion. The NXT content seems to be the most talked about issue on RAW or any other WWE show right now or at least that's my take on it. Having NXT content on the PPV this Sunday feels imperative.

An emailer asked me how to become "a WWE announcer like you." Last I looked I am not longer a WWE announcer but I strongly urge anyone to first finish their college degree, do all the broadcasting projects one can, even if for free, in any area of broadcasting to be able to make yourself a great 'reel', don't be overly consumed in the genre, don't have any facial hair, lose any Southern accent, and what ever you do never contract Bells palsy because 'look' is crucial. In all seriousness, being a great broadcaster in any genre is as much about natural instincts as any thing.

We have addressed a wide variety of topics on the Q&A section of the site.

If you want us to sign something for you, the address is located in PO Box form on the Contact Us aspect of the home page and you must send the item signed AND a self addressed stamped envelope or we can't accommodate you. Thanks.

I would have had no issue with OU going to the Pac16 but am happy that the Big 12, for the most part, is in tact. Most coaches will like not having to win the conference title game to qualify for a BCS bowl much like the Big 10 and the Pac 10 in years past. It's an economic blow to Cowboys Stadium in Texas as they had the Big 12 Title game locked up the next three years. It also seems as if Texas wielded a great deal of power and influence on this deal but those observations should be cleared up once the new TV deal and revenue sharing deal points are made public. I do know that October 2, the day of the Oklahoma vs. Texas game in the Cotton Bowl just got a little bigger if that's possible. There are many things about this entire negotiation that has me uncomfortable but I need to see what the deal is at the end of the day before drawing more conclusions.

If you want to know when or if a WWE event is going to play your market, simply call your arena and ask them. One local phone call should answer all your questions as I don't keep long term WWE schedules around any longer.

Emailer...I agree that a DVD of all the great moments in MSG history would be a good seller which is why I suggested it long ago. Perhaps some day it will be produced by WWE Home Video. Hope so.

The incessant emails about what is or isn't PG friendly or acceptable is running rampant. I am not the PG Police nor will I accept be deputized. When 'PG issues' adversely affect some of you as many have indicated in some of the bizarre emails that we've received, and largely deleted, then you really night want to consider alternative viewing. Honest to goodness, I have nothing I can say or do to ease your issues and in today's world to actually have 'issues' over a pro wrestling show's PG rating is somewhat freighting considering everything else that's going on in our lives.

Lots of fans wondering what sort of issues Brock Lesnar may have after being out of the Octagon for such a long length of time primarily due to illness as in diverticulitis. Having had the same illness I can say with confidence that Brock should have no issues battling back from the ailment due to the elapsed time of the diagnosis and the treatment that the former WWE Champ received. However, the question that does linger is 'ring rust' and that's the biggest conundrum of all as it relates to the July 3 UFC PPV main event. If any one can battle thru 'ring rust' it will be Lesnar because he's such a gifted, natural athlete but I do think that his inactivity will be a factor in the fight versus Shane Carwin who is 12-0 and has never allowed an opponent to survive the first round. Brock's stand up defense is perhaps the true key to this epic match up that I will be seeing in person. And yes, I'm still hoping that Lesnar wins it but I'm not naive enough to think that the odds makers are totally accurate on this one either. Carwin is a beast with one punch, knock out power. Any thing can happen.

I'm hoping to have some big news to announce much sooner than later so if you have the time check back with us later tonite. In the mean time, our store is open and we would appreciate your business. Thanks!

Boomer Sooner!
