NEWS
Bill Goldberg was fired by Donald Trump on the latest episode of "Celebrity Apprentice". Goldberg took a project manager role for a job that involved giving an image makeover to aspiring country stars, Luke Bryan and Emily West. While the female team allowed singer Cyndi Lauper to head up the project, Trump questioned why a wrestler would ever take on the job when rocker Bret Michaels was on the same team. The men's team - in charge of transforming Luke Bryan - failed to win Trump's approval and Goldberg took the blame after he ended up delegating most of to work to Michaels anyway. Former WWE Diva Maria is still on the show. You can view Goldberg's exit interview by clicking here. After the show aired, Goldberg twittered, "Sorry I didn't win everyone. If I would have stayed any longer they would have put me in jail for murdering someone." Goldberg is now doing a media tour this week as part of the deal for being eliminated.

Newsday did a story on Bill Goldberg being inducted into the Jewish Sports Hall of Fame and being a Jewish role model. You can read the entire story by clicking here.

Three versions of WWE's "WrestleMania XXVI" will be out on DVD and Blu-Ray ? a three disc collector's edition, a two disc edition, and a three disc Blu-Ray set. The two disc DVD set will contain the full show as well an edited version of the Hall of Fame that aired on USA while the collector's edition DVD and Blu-Ray versions - each sporting three discs - will also contain both the Raw and Smackdown shows from the week of "WrestleMania XXVI" as well as the full Hall of Fame ceremony. Special features will include the 26 man battle royal from WrestleMania, a Hall of Fame section with Mad Dog Vachon vs. Rick McGraw, Wendi Richter vs. The Fabulous Moolah, Antonio Inoki vs. The Great Hossein, Gorgeous George vs. Frankie Talaber, and Ted DiBiase vs. Jake Roberts. The DVD will be out on May 4th, while no date has been set for the Blu-Ray version. You can see the artwork by clicking here.

German n-TV did a documentary on pro wrestling, filmed at "WrestleMania XXVI". It was a fluff piece, going so far as to say that any wrestler who uses steroids, major pain killers or hard drugs is fired on the spot in WWE. No mention of anything controversial. They claim all the wrestlers do more than 300 matches a year (the top guys in WWE may do 160-200 if they can go all year without a major injury). They interviewed wrestlers at Fan Axxess like Melina, Ted DiBiase, Drew McIntyre (who spoke German and said he loved the country), Maryse, and Shawn Michaels. They showed some clips of 'Mania, as well as Ted Sr. being inducted into the Hall of Fame. They showed German fans having a good time at the event. They did a cooking show with Maryse and Katie Lea Burchill making sushi. If you're keeping score, Katie did much better in the kitchen than Maryse. Andrew Whitaker, who heads international business, talked about the Mattel deal, saying it was the biggest licensing score in company history. He also claimed (well this is for German TV) that Germany was the most important market for WWE in Europe.

Ric Flair threw out the first pitch at the St. Louis Cardinals game last Friday Night. It was reported that it took him a few tries to get a good one.

Following the announcement of his former wife Karen's engagement to Jeff Jarrett, Kurt Angle also got engaged to 24 year old model Giovanna Yannotti according to British tabloid newspaper The Sun. Yannotti, also from Pennsylvania, was a finalist in the Miss Hawaiian Tropic Pageant in 2007 and finalist in the 2009 Miss Pennsylvania contest. She also had small roles in several movies including "End Game," with Kurt Angle himself. You can see five photos of the soon-to-be Mrs. Angle by clicking here.

Mick Foley said he's done with TNA for the time being. "It feels nice to be off for a little while. I enjoyed being part of the show, but I had been on there for quite a while in a heavily featured role," Foley said during an interview with "The Pain Clinic" radio show out of Rochester, NY. "I think there's a reason why TV shows do better when they have a hiatus every now and then. I guess that's what I'm taking right now - a hiatus." He also talked about recently shooting a web show pilot with Ken Anderson for Black20.com.

Eric Bischoff commented on Jim Cornette from his Facebook page: "Cornette doesn't know any business. He is a low rent con man that is only good at gaining the attention of the internet wrestling community. He's all yours! Trust me, he never has nor ever will become a part of a meaningful national promotion. But if you are looking for a bootleg DVD or a fake autograph... he's your guy!". Bischoff then said on his Facebook on Friday: "Jim (Cornette) needs psychological help. I know it must be tough getting up in the morning and looking at yourself in the mirror and realizing you look like 240 pounds of sausage stuffed in a 12 ounce polyester bag....but Jim needs to move on. The television business passed him by many Big Macs ago." He later wrote, "... threatening to kill someone, posting confidential corporate information, and posting terroristic threats doesn't make you a "genius" any more than criticizing the efforts/success of others when they realize that you have nothing to offer. Jim is a washed up, has been IWC icon to the 5% of the people that makes up a television audience."

Jim Cornette responded to Bischoff: "Eric (Bischoff) continues to wound my sensitive feelings--so I feel I must rebut his facebook comments point by point. It WAS real tough to look at myself in the mirror while working for the same company as Vince Russo, but with that out of my life I believe I am a darn good-looking guy. I recently went on a low-carb diet, and with the advent of Sprite Zero I'm down to 231 pounds. Everyone in the world except Easy E knows I don't eat Big Macs, they're far inferior to Wendy's Triple Cheeses. The only confidential corporate information yet to be revealed about TNA is how much Eric and Hogan soaked Dixie for when they played her, and whether Jason Hervey is getting Eric's Midget Wrestling title. Lastly, I never criticized TNA's efforts or success since there's no evidence they have ever legitimately made the former or achieved the latter. I think Eric is jealous of the fact that I don't have to do as he does and continue to work alongside and/or kiss the ass of people who have sued him, blamed him for the death of WCW, or taken him down in a locker room and roughed him up with no rebuttal. That kind of thing can make you bitter, Eric, perhaps counseling could help.Don't knock the IWC, E, keep producing programs like Impact and that "5%" will look lie the ratings for the moon landing."

Cameron, Orlando Jordan's storyline companion, is gone from TNA. Apparently they have already found someone to replace him if they decide to continue the gimmick. This stems partly from a bar incident following the last live "TNA iMPACT!". Differing stories have been circulating but something happened on the dance floor of the Hard Rock which led to an intoxicated Ric Flair cutting a promo on the kid and making him cry. This all went down in front of a major television executive. Flair's wife was also present and was apologizing to people afterwards. Cameron showed up to the Tuesday taping the next day but was not used.

Roddy Piper and Dallas Page just shot a direct-to-DVD sci-fi movie called "Pizza Man".

Roddy Piper was in the Milwaukee area for shows last Friday and Saturday night. He was on the local NBC affiliate in Milwaukee, WTMJ, with their sportscaster Lance Allen (who has done a few matches on Dave Herro promoted shows.) Funniest Piperism: He was speaking of when he broke in and worked Verne Gagne's AWA circuit. He said Greg Gagne would have all his interviews shot at a mirror, so his arms would look bigger.

D-Lo Brown is co-host on a radio show and the other host questioned fireballs to the face and chair shots to the head. Brown said "They can always say no" and "your opinion does not matter, is inconsequential, because you have not laced up a pair of boots or taken a bump." He also compared Orlando Jordan's gimmick to that of Gorgeous George.

Scotty Charisma placed 3rd in the Novice Middleweight Class at the OCB Tri-Cities Natural Bodybuilding Championships in West Nyack, NY this past weekend. It was his first bodybuilding competition since 2006.

He held the AWA World Title from July 11, 1961 to August 8, 1961 and the NWA World Title from January 7, 1966 to February 11, 1969.
