NEWS
In anticipation of his induction into the WWE Hall Of Fame, "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase did an interview with Detroit Sports Talk Radio. Ted talked Hall Of Fame, WrestleMania, his son Ted Jr. and much more. To listen or download the interview, click here.

By far the most talked about subject connected to WrestleMania, aside from things that happened at the show itself, was Jim Ross not being involved in the show. He was acknowledged by Jerry Lawler during the Hall of Fame show and got a huge reaction. As is everything of that caliber of decision, it was Vince McMahon's call. The subject was brought up many times in the last few weeks.

According to Bill Goldberg via Twitter, he is in negotiations with World Wrestling Entertainment:

-"No one said I'd wrestle but the door is open again"; -"Truth is I never thought I'd even consider it........then came my son"
-"Anyone got any issues on the TNA side I suggest you bring it up with them."
-"YES.. I am in negotiations with the WWE. Looks like 'ole Hogan and TNA missed the boat. Shame for the fans they didn't even try."

To follow up on Bill Goldberg stating on Twitter that he is negotiations with WWE, the Wrestling Observer reports that Goldberg was contacted by WWE a while back with an offer for an affiliation, but not to return to the ring. The potential agreement would include merchandising on a legends contract type level, but on a larger scale. WWE wants to use Goldberg's likeness for video games. The company has been excited by the successful return of Bret Hart to build to a WrestleMania match, and it wouldn't surprise anyone if they brought Goldberg back to work a short-term angle. As we reported a few weeks ago, his name has already surfaced for next year's WWE Hall of Fame ceremonies in Atlanta. There is also talk internally about Goldberg hosting a future episode of Raw. Goldberg has since posted on his Twitter page " Is it out of the question for me to have 1 more match? Answer is no...my son has never seen me wrestle and I'd love to see his reaction".

On Friday, Goldberg posted on Twitter the following message: "My desire to return to the wrestling world in any capacity is based on the fact that if I continue to let my issues with the business stand in the way, I'd be very selfish. Times have changed and I don't work for people anymore. I work with them. I control my destiny. Depriving the fans and my family would be a shame." Goldberg worked for WWE between 2003 and 2004 and won the World Title from Triple H at "Unforgiven" in 2003.

Kevin Eck of The Baltimore Sun is featuring an interview with WWE star Shawn Michaels where he addresses Ric Flair deciding to come out of retirement in 2009 for the "Hulkamania" tour and in 2010 for TNA: "He did call me. He called me once to let me know he was going to do the [Hulk] Hogan match in Australia. He wanted to know if it was OK and I of course told him that it was. Then he called me again when he was going to sign with TNA and asked the same thing. There?s nothing you can say. I certainly don?t have what it takes to look at somebody and say, ?Don?t go make a living.? I told him that, for me, nothing can take away that special moment. It will still always be to me that I had Ric Flair?s last match. I tried to do the best job I could for him. I think it was a special moment. Anything after that [pauses]. I feel for him, but I?m certainly not angry or disappointed or anything. I would like to think that Ric probably would have liked that to have been his last match, too. The fact that it couldn?t be, I understand. Those are circumstances that I certainly can?t control. One of the things you have to understand is that if you?re going to be a friend of Ric?s, you sort of know that there?s some baggage that comes along with that. Certainly the older I get the more I?m learning about conditional situations, and the difference between that and unconditional ? unconditional friendship, unconditional love. All those types of things we can talk about but it?s a whole other thing to put them into action. I do my best to put them into action. I want what?s best for Ric, even if Ric might not always be aware of what that is, I still want that for him. Nothing will take away from that moment. It?s still truly special. I still wear my watch every day, so it?s still something I?m really proud of."

Sixteen WWE Superstars and Divas took part in the annual "THQ Superstar Challenge" on Friday at WWE Fan Axxess. Cryme Tyme (J. T. G. & Shad), Ricky Steamboat, Jimmy Wang Yang, The Bella Twins (Brie Bella & Nikki Bella), The Great Khali, Hornswoggle, Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne, Sgt. Slaughter, Carlito, Beth Phoenix, Maryse, Dusty Rhodes, and Matt Hardy all did battle using the THQ "Smackdown vs RAW 2010" video game to crown the new champion. The final ended up being J. T. G. vs. Kingston and the Cryme Tyme member who was using the character of Randy Orton on the game ended up winning the tournament.

During Tuesday's Milwaukee Brewers exhibition game, announcer Cory Provis talked with Bob Uecker about being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. They talked about it for some time, as Provis brought up Ted DiBiase and Wendi Richter like he knew who they were. Lance Allen, a local Milwaukee sportscaster who has himself done a few wrestling matches, talked about it Tuesday night on his report including showing clips of Uecker with Andre the Giant.

Chad Fortune, who tagged with Erik Watts in the WWF as Tekno Team 2000, is now a monster truck driver. Also on the monster truck circuit is former women's wrestler Debra "Madusa" Miceli.

On Thursday of last week, Mick Foley wrote a blog which was posted on the TNA website explaining that he's off television to give the younger guys a chance to shine, however by Friday morning, the blog was no where to be found, perhaps because Foley had publicly killed an ongoing angle. Either way, in the blog he also mentioned that when he hit Bubba the Love Sponge, it was inadvertent. Foley wrote, "I know some people will claim I hit him on purpose because of the Awesome Kong incident, but that is not the case. I spoke to Bubba the day after that deal, and told him how I felt about it, then had a chance to discuss it on Bubba's show and write about it on TNA's website. So as far as I am concerned, there was no problem."

On "NBA Game Time" on the NBA TV Network they showed a small clip of Mick Foley at the Orlando Magic basketball game on Friday night. One broadcaster pointed out he didn't know who he was, while the other two seemed to know.

Alex Marvez recently interviewed Maria Kanellis. She had some funny lines talking about how bad she was as a wrestler, and talks about her current projects including beating Jim Ross to doing commentary on an MMA show. You read the entire interview by clicking here.

Moonshine suffered a dislocated shoulder during his match with Draven Cross at the SWCW event last Saturday. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.

Sam Stackhouse suffered a concussion during the TAP event last Friday. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.
