JR's Blog: Sunday In Phoenix

Another beautiful day in the Valley of the Sun. Happy you stopped by to pay us a visit.
Enjoyed the 3 hour WWE HOF Induction Ceremony. Seemed to flow better than the past. Unique group of inductees. Haven't seen th TV show yet but many friends commented on it. Sounds as if my intro by the King didn't make air. That wasn't a shocker. I appreciate the standing ovation nonetheless. Very cool.
Gorgeous George's 97 year old ex was amazing. I hope the Good Lord gives me 97 years to wear my black hat.
Ted DiBiase and Bob Uecker were excellent.
Dress up nite for the WWE talents and the ladies all looked awesome. Lots of the Superstars had plenty of fun in the team hotel after HOF. We left the hotel and had dinner w/ friends in Old Scottsdale area at restaurant called 'Wild Fish.' Great meal.
I'm in announce mode mentally even though I'm not announcing. Can't get my 'game clock' to disengage.
Riding 'friends and family' bus to the stadium. Watching WM26 from a suite w/ 250 others. I'll be near a monitor and the bar. No plans on going backstage.
Axxess was really good this morning. Wish I could have stayed longer. Did about 15 Make a Wish meet and greets too. Love those kids who are all legit heroes.
I am blessed w/ great health whereas these kids are in a real fight. God Bless 'em all.
Shane Carwin's destruction of the charismatic Frank Mir Saturday night in Jersey did big financial damage to Mir who will now have to watch Carwin battle Brock Lesnar on July 3. Carwin matches up well w/ Brock as Carwin can wrestle but has lethal standup. Nonetheless Lesnar is 'my guy' and this Vegas fight is one I'm going to try and attend.
GSP has an 'off nite' in Newark but the French Canadian is still the class act he's always been and STILL arguably one of the top 3 best pound for pound fighters in the world. Dan Hardy is still very relevant, FYI.
I have high expectations for WM26 and wish Michael Cole, The King, and Matt Striker, I assume, a great night.
