NEWS
The Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe & Luster the Legend) was named Tag Team of the Year by the Supreme Pro Wrestling, based in Sacramento, CA

The WWE Heroes comic book opening page has been revealed featuring two characters - Shadow King and Firstborn - drawn by artist Andy Smith. Issue #1, which is set for release on March 23rd, will reveal an eternal rivalry set against the backdrop of the history of WWE. Triple H, The Undertaker, Randy Orton, Batista, Shawn Michaels, The Big Show, John Cena, CM Punk, Kane, Edge, Chris Jericho, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Roddy Piper, Carlito, Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, Kelly Kelly, and Vince McMahon will all be featured. The comic will have a $3.99 cover price and will contain 32 pages in full color. It is published by Titan Books. You can check out the first page by clicking here.

WWE agreed to terms with Josh Fatu, the son of former WWE Superstar Rikishi, on a developmental deal. He made his Florida Championship Wrestling debut last week.

Here are the confirmed WWE superstars entered in this year's Royal Rumble:

Representing "Monday Night RAW": The Big Show, Cody Rhodes, Carlito, Evan Bourne, Jack Swagger, John Cena, Kofi Kingston, Mark Henry, Montel Vontavious Porter, Santino Marella, Ted DiBiase, Jr., WWE United States Champion The Miz, and WWE Unified Tag Team Champions D-Generation X (Shawn Michaels & Triple H).

Representing "Friday Night SmackDown!": Batista, Chris Jericho, CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, John Morrison, Finlay, Kane, Matt Hardy, R-Truth, and WWE Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre.

Representing "ECW on SyFy": Shelton Benjamin, Vladimir Kozlov, Yoshi Tatsu, and Zack Ryder.

That means there are still 2 spots remaining.

Freddy Prinze Jr. was on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" last Wednesday night and spoke about his tenure as a writer in WWE. He talked about how great wrestling was, saying the greatest wrestler of all-time was Andre the Giant, and that when he found out his wife was pregnant, the first person who texted him a congratulatory message was The Undertaker. He said Randy Orton was a good friend of his and is his favorite wrestler.

TNA fans in several countries did not get the full three hours of "TNA iMPACT!" that TNA produced two weeks ago and were only able to see an edited two hour version per the company's contract with their respective broadcast partners. However TNA came up with the rescue as the full show - without commercials - has been uploaded online for free and is accessible to anyone. The three hour show has been split in sixteen parts in their YouTube channel and left in full on the TNA Video Vault website. The January 4 iMPACT! saw the arrival of Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Ric Flair, Jeff Hardy, Sean Waltman, Scott Hall and others. In case you missed it or didn't see the full three hour version you can see it by clicking here.

Ric Flair, The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs & Jerry Sags), Orlando Jordan, Sean Morley, Eric Bischoff, Scott Hall, Sean Waltman, and Tomko have all been added to the TNA Superstar roster page of TNAwrestling.com. It is interesting to note that Jeff Hardy has not been added.

It appears from television that Ric Flair?s role will be the mentor to TNA World Champion A. J. Styles.

Don West has put up a brand new "Insane Deal" at ShopTNA.com. For $39.99 you get 4 random DVDs, a CD, a Sting t-shirt, and signed photos by Kurt Angle, Desmond Wolfe, Daniels, and A. J. Styles.

Jeff Jarrett was on Danny Bonaduce's radio show last week on 94.1 WYSP and shot an angle that will most likely see Bonaduce wrestle at an upcoming TNA pay-per-view. After drawing on his Celebrity Championship Wrestling poster, Jarrett stole the CCW replica belt that Bonaduce had and told him that if he wants it back, TNA holds a pay-per-view every month and he can go and take it whenever he wants. While Jarrett was in the actual studio - along with Jeremy Borash -Bonaduce was in New York City. Bonaduce said that he will get back in shape in three months and will take the belt back. You can see the segment by clicking here.

Michael Lohan (with promoter Damon Feldman) and Jeff Jarrett were live in the studio Friday morning on Philadelphia WMMR's "Preston and Steve Show". Lohan was in to promote his celebrity boxing match that night at the Airport Ramada. Jon Gosselin is supposed to appear following the match, to sign a contract to face Lohan in Las Vegas later this year. Jarrett came in alone to promote Friday's TNA show in Reading, PA. The hosts are old-school fans, so Jarrett was treated with respect and it turned into a fun interview. They seemed to be somewhat familiar with the TNA product and had a good discussion about Jarrett's history in the business. The podcast should be posted at WMMR.com/shows/Preston-and-Steve/media/.

Ring of Honor officially announced the April 3rd show in Charlotte, NC at the Grady Cole Center with the attempt to make it one of the biggest shows in company history, called "The Big Bang." Jim Cornette has made this his personal project and Gary Juster will be promoting the event locally. Cornette said he's attempting with the show to appeal to UFC fans, the pro wrestling internet community and older fans of the Jim Crockett Promotions era, noting they will be bringing in wrestlers from Mexico including Blue Demon Jr. There will also be a meet and greet with Dennis Condrey & Bobby Eaton at the show.

The radio show "The Game Plan" on FAN 590 in Toronto did a trivia contest Friday, and also announced this week would be all wrestling trivia. The only question asked yesterday was, "Who was a better wrestler. Macho Man Randy Savage or the Ultimate Warrior?" The caller said Ultimate Warrior by far better than Savage, the host cut him off immediately and said he was wrong. The host later made fun of Warrior wrestling in Italy and talked about the Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat match at WrestleMania III. The trivia is usually between 3:45 and 4 p.m. Eastern time.

Lanny Poffo has re-launched his official website at LannyPoffo.com.

Oklafan would to extend its condolences to Johnny Z, who's father passed away on January 12th.

Oklafan would also like to extend its condolences to Karmyne, who's grandfather passed away last week.
