Now on !BANG! TV from November of 1992, Dory Funk, Jr., Andre the Giant (Last Tour of Japan) and Kenta Kobashi vs Johnny Ace (John Laurinaitis) Stan Hansen and Tiger Cat. (Special Commentator, Giant Baba)
After touring Japan Andre returned home to France where he attended his father's funeral then passed away January 27 of 1993. Andre the Giant was the first and only inductee to the WWE Hall of Fame in 1993.
Andre the Giant was booked in America by Vince McMahon, Sr. and was a frequent performer in the Amarillo Territory his specialty being a Two Ring Battle Royal.
Andre the Giant was a dear friend of Marti and I as we often traveled throughout Japan traveling on the Japanese bus with Andre, Marti and I being the only foreigners on the bus. Each day, a case of Beaujolais Wine was provided daily for Andre at the front of the bus. Andre was "Boss of the Japanese Bus."
