NEWS
Gerald Brisco won't be returning to WWE in his previous role as road agent after suffering a series of mini strokes earlier this year. His doctor advised him not to go back on the road full-time so he may be doing something with developmental in Tampa. He is said to be recovering nicely but no timetable has been set for him to return to work. He is also accepting convention dates next year outside of WWE.

Filming on the "Celebrity Apprentice" wrapped up which means WWE Diva Maria will be able to return to WWE television effective immediately. The former Playboy cover girl started filming the show in October joining other celebs such as Sharon Osbourne, Rod Blagojevich, Cyndi Lauper, Darryl Strawberry, Bret Michaels, Bill Goldberg, and others. The show is scheduled to air in Spring 2010 on NBC.

Jerry Lawler never watches ECW or Smackdown so he had photos on Raw this week to help him.

A while back there were plans for A. J. Styles to lose the TNA World Title to Kurt Angle so he could defend it against Bobby Lashley but those plans have since been tossed out. There is no set date for when Lashley will get his title shot and there is no Lashley vs. Angle feud planned.

A. J. Styles did an interview with Sport FM in Australia and talked about Impact moving to Monday night's to compete with WWE. He said: "A lot of things [wrong] is our production issues. The reason why WWE has been [at the top] for so long is [because] their production is very expensive." He added: "We're working our way up there to get to that point. We just don't have the money they do." When asked about those on the current WWE roster who he thought would be a good fit for TNA he noted Shawn Michaels, Shelton Benjamin, Rey Mysterio, Christian, and Evan Bourne.

Stories making the rounds that Ric Flair called Vince McMahon shortly before signing the contract with Hogan, reports the Wrestling Globe Newsletter. A few weeks went by before WWE made Flair a substantial offer to no-show the "Hulkamania Tour" but by then he had already committed and signed with Hogan.

If you want to see the first Hulk Hogan vs. Ric Flair match of the "Hulkamania Tour", it is in 2 parts and can be seen at the following:

Part 1: YouTube.com/watch?v=i32pLmKZIDk
Part 2: YouTube.com/watch?v=YVQUqH8CIVg

The "Hulkamania: Let The Battle Begin" tour continued in Brisbane, Australia last Thursday as wrestlers involved celebrated their Thanksgiving entertaining thousands of fans at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. Hogan once again came out victorious in his match against the sixteen time World Heavyweight champion Ric Flair. Flair was accompanied by TNA Knockout Lacey Von Erich during his match, who also got involved in the action. At one point, Von Erich tried to jump off the top rope but Jimmy Hart knocked her down. Hogan grabbed her and gave her an atomic drop and Flair bumped into her, sending her face up into the mat. Flair acted wobbly and fell face first into her crotch in one of the most hilarious segments of the night. You can check out a video of the segment by clicking here.

The Daily Star in the United Kingdom last Sunday compared Hulk Hogan to Randy the Ram, the main character in the movie "The Wrestler". The paper wrote that Hogan was an "old cheat" for faking a bloody clash with Ric Flair. They quoted an anonymous "fighter" who said Hogan was in danger of becoming a "laughing stock" if he is still blading. In addition to the Hulkamania tour, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs & Jerry Sags), Jimmy Hart, and Brutus Beefcake were also in Australia to film a pilot for a Hogan/Flair reality show for North America.

TMZ posted pictures of Hulk Hogan pulling down Ric Flair's trunks in the ring on their current tour of Australia. You can see the pictures by clicking here.

Photos from Ric Flair's recent bachelor party were posted on Facebook. In one photo, he's wearing a T-shirt that says "Last Wooo before I do!" You can view the pictures by clicking here.

WrestlingClothesline.com recently released their 7th annual Top 50 Independent Women Wrestlers.
Sara Del Rey was ranked #1. Cheerleader Melissa, also known as Alissa Flash in TNA, was ranked 4th. To view the entire list, go to WrestlingClothesline.com/Top50Women2009.htm.

Bill Simmons on the ESPN web site at Sports.ESPN.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=SimmonsNFLpicks/091125 has a story which makes fun of the UFC 106 main event. He jokes LeBron James of the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers, should announce his decision of where he's going to play next on PPV. "If people were willing to pay $44.99 for a UFC 106 card headlined by Jenna Jameson's washed up husband fighting a guy who hadn't won in two years, I'm pretty sure they'll pony up $44.99 for Decision 2010: LeBron's verdict." He also said he wished he could have made a documentary about Andre the Giant. He said other than Ali, no athlete of the past 40 years was more memorable, beloved or distinct.

3rd Rail suffered a torn hamstring, which kept him out of action this weekend. Oklafan extends its wishes for a speedy recovery to him.

Oklafan extends its condolensces to Kevin James Sanchez whose uncle passed away this weekend.
