NEWS
"WWE RAW" on March 1, 2010 will be held at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City. Tickets go on sale January 16th, 2010 at 10am.

WWE Classics On Demand is airing a Legends of Wrestling episode "The Lost Art of Managers". In it, both Michael Hayes and host Joey Styles say "WWF" and neither one were censored. Earlier, it was reported that on the new Hulk Hogan DVD, someone says "WWF" and wasn't censored either.

Jim Ross is donating one of his "game worn" Resistol cowboy hats to Wrestlers Rescue to raise money for Steve Williams health care costs as he battles cancer. For more info on other fund raisers for Dr. Death you can go to WrestlersRescue.org.

Lisa Taylor who was squashed last week on "WWE SmackDown!" by Beth Phoenix is Lisa Fury, a former model from Liverpool who has been active on the United Kingdom and European indy circuit for several years. Her grandfather was also wrestler in the 1950s and 1960s as Tony Fury.

The Holiday 2009 issue of WWE Magazine features the young guns of WWE on the cover with Kofi Kingston, The Legacy (Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr.), John Morrison, and Evan Bourne. The magazine also comes with a giant fold out poster featuring those same Superstars plus Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, Jack Swagger, and Tyson Kidd.

Eventful.com has a link that fans can demand certain events. TNA is on the list of events that can be demanded. Tulsa and Oklahoma City already have fans that have voted for their cities to get a TNA show.

Tara's theme "Broken" and Alissa Flash's theme "Take it Out on You" are both performed by Goldylocks who was a part of TNA from 2002-2004.

Mick Foley was on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" on November 19th and cut a great promo. He was used in a skit about a 10 year old boy who was being picked on at school because he refused to say the pledge of allegiance until homosexuals have equal rights. Foley cut a great promo threatening to pound anyone who picked on the boy. Believe it or not, he was actually wearing a TNA t-shirt. You can view full episodes of "The Daily Show" at their website TheDailyShow.com.

On Thursday of last week, "Cowboy" Ron Bass appeared on the Tampa CBS affiliate, WTSP Channel 10 during its "Studio 10" morning show for an interview on the Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup. In addition to the event, Bass talked about his legendary matches with Harley Race, Hulk Hogan, "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, and his opponent on Saturday night "Superstar" Sean Davis. But Bass had a surprise waiting for him as Sean Davis came on to the set ready to fight. Bass was ready and Davis was shoved to the floor as the TV host tried to keep them apart. There is footage and you can see it by clicking here.

Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair along with the rest of the wrestlers involved in the "Hulkamania: Let The Battle Begin" tour in Australia did a press conference where Flair attacked Hogan after making a comment about his girlfriend. "If she met me before him, she'd be riding the space mountain at the Sheraton Park Hotel," Flair exclaimed. Hogan turned and said that the press conference is over however the Nature Boy punched Hogan in the face dropping him down. "What the hell are you doing Ric?" shouted Eric Bischoff as wrestlers held on Flair. The sixteen time World Champion removed his belt and hit Hogan again in the head with the buckle as he was standing with Hogan then shown bleeding. The footage was aired on Fox Sports Express in Australia and can be seen at YouTube.com/watch?v=Fj3OvBjJ1yU&feature=player_embedded.

TMZ.com posted a news story about Hulk Hogan getting bloodied by Ric Flair during a press conference in Australia. According to Hogan's camp, the entire thing was real and not a work. To view the pictures and the story, click here.

The Sun in the United Kingdom had a article up in Thursday's paper about the Hulk Hogan/Ric Flair attack at the press conference in Australia. The Article titled "Gore Blimey Hulk" has a picture of a bloodied Hogan being attacked by his rival and it seems to go along with the story being legit as it describes Hogan as being "dazed, cut and beaten to a pulp". The Sun is a pretty big newspaper in the UK, so if Hulk can do this for this tour, one has to wonder what he could do with TNA.

The Daily Mail in the United Kingdom reported on the Hogan/Flair angle, clearly covering it for what it was, noting Hogan bladed and wore a white T-shirt, and how some in Australia reported it like it was a real assault. The U.K. newspaper The Metro had a short article and photos of the incident. Germany's biggest newspaper, BILD, had a story about it, written up like it was real but the last paragraph questioned that it could have been a promotional stunt. That newspaper never covers wrestling. It's also all over the Dutch media, on the web site of the biggest newspaper in the country and even on the TV gossip shows, and wrestling also gets no mainstream coverage and isn't very popular in Holland.

Ric Flair stepped back into the ring to wrestle his first match since WrestleMania XXIV a few days ago in Melbourne, Australia taking on Hulk Hogan in the main event of the first "Hulkamania: Let The Battle Begin" tour. A total of eight matches were on the card with a lot of former WWE Superstars being chosen to participate. Hogan and Flair both saw blood during their main event fight which Hogan eventually won after hitting Ric with his brass knuckles. While both of them did their usual spots Hogan did not do the leg drop due to the recent surgery on his back. You can see Flair's entrance and the ending of their match by clicking here.

Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan, in promoting a show Tuesday night in Perth, were on Steve Mills radio show, with Flair in studio and Hogan on the phone. Mills, while on the phone with both, said Flair was an old man and Hogan should let him win this one because Flair doesn't have much time left. Whether they worked it out or not ahead of time, the local newspaper reported that once the mics were turned off and the show wasn't on the air, Flair got mad at the host for that line. Another host on the station later said that Flair put up fists during a break, "Seriously, I was really surprised he took it so badly. I was just trash talking, like you do. The whole this is a sham, everyone knows it," Mills said. Mills also said to the local paper, "If he had touched me, he wouldn't have got back off the floor."

Ralph Magazine in Australia has notes on Hulk Hogan saying he was the first wrestler ever to slam Andre the Giant, noting he did it at WrestleMania III. Of course that is incorrect.

The newest issue of "1,001 Movies You Must See Before You Die" still only has three movies with a wrestler as a featured player in it. The three are "The Wrestler," "The Princess Bride" with Andre the Giant, and "Goldfinger" with Harold Sakata (AKA Toru Tanaka).

The National Hockey League's Phoenix Coyotes has a story on their website about goaltender Jason LaBarbera and his personalized goalie mask. Painted on the mask are likenesses of Metallica's James Hetfield, a logo from the Metallica album cover "St. Anger Fist", Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, and The Ultimate Warrior. To view the entire story about LaBarbera's goalie mask, go to Coyotes.NHL.com/club/news.htm?id=506622.

A skit on a recent episode of "Saturday Night Live" had a Jake Roberts parody. The clip is 6 minutes and 38 seconds long and the parody of Roberts starts at the 4 minute 41 second mark of the clip. To view the entire clip which also features former Vice President Al Gore, and Mindy Kaling from "The Office", click here.

Roddy Piper is now back in Los Angeles working on developing a TV sitcom.

Kid Sister said she wanted to do her debut album and call it "Koko B. Ware," because she grew up with him as her favorite wrestler, called the WWE offices for approval and offered $10,000 for the rights, and WWE told them, "We're not even discussing it, it's not up for debate." She should have just found him, since "Koko B. Ware" was originated by Jerry Jarrett, and Koko B. Ware by Bill Watts in Mid South Wrestling, neither of which trademarked it, so WWE shouldn't have any intellectual property rights to limit its use even if he's under a Legends contract because he brought the name into the company as opposed to the company creating the name for him.

Ed and Cutrer are joined by Nickla Roberts, formerly Baby Doll, at BlogTalkRadio.com/Edward-Loredo.
