Top 10 Super-Heavyweights in Pro-Wrestling History

The criteria for this pro-wrestling list are that these men had to have wrestled significant portions of their careers at weighing over 450 pounds

10) Billy and Benny McGuire ?The McGuire Twins?
Known as the World?s heaviest Twins, Billy and Benny were 743 and 723 pounds respectively during their active days in wrestling. The Twins made the Guinness Book of World Record for their weight and were originally trained by Gory Guerrero.

9) Happy Humphrey
Humphrey is the heaviest pro-wrestler of all-time. He frequently wrestled at the 800 pound mark and made Haystack Calhoun look small. Humphrey left pro-wrestling due to his health and agreed to participate in an Obesity study. He ended up losing over 570 pounds in 2 years and made the Guiness Book of World Records.

8) Man Mountain Mike
Man Mountain Mike was an athletic 600 pounder who squared off against some of the giants of his day as he wrestled against Don Leo Jonathan and even tag-teamed with other members of this list in Haystack Calhoun and Jerry Blackwell and Jerry Blackwell.

7) One Man Gang
Gang, also known as Akeem the Dream, wrestled between 450-500 pounds. He was a member of Devastation Inc.. He feuded with major stars including Hulk Hogan, the Von Erichs, and Macho Man Randy Savage.

6) Haystack Calhoun
One of the biggest attractions in Pro-Wrestling during the 1960?s, Haystack was a 600 pound good ole? boy. WWE has rated Haystack one of their 50 greatest wrestlers of all-time. Haystack feuded or teamed with Happy Humphrey and Man Mountain Mike.

5) Andre the Giant
?The 8th Wonder of the World?, Andre transcended this great sport. Andre became the most recognized pro-wrestler in the world. His size, strength, and consumption of alcohol have become legendary. You can?t say ?big man? or ?giant? without thinking Andre. He faced every big name during his career and his match with Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 3 is arguably the most influential match in Pro-Wrestling history.

4) Jerry Blackwell
Jerry Blackwell, also known as Crusher Blackwell, wrestled at an estimated 470 pounds. He was a top star for the AWA as both a heel and a face. Blackwell always impressed those with his ability to throw a drop kick for a man his size.

3) King Kong Bundy
Master of the ?5 count?, Bundy typically wrestled at the 450 pound mark. Bundy was originally discovered by the Von Erichs and became a huge antagonist to the Von Erich family. Bundy had major feuds with Andre the Giant and Hulk Hogan. He also formed a dominant tag-team with Big John Studd as members of the Heenan Family.

2) Vader
Vader was an All-American college football player and went on to the NFL before becoming a Pro-Wrestler. Vader typically wrestled at the 450 pound mark and found success in every promotion he went to. Vader won Titles all over the world and his athleticism was clearly evident in his Vader Bomb and Vadersault.

1) Yokozuna
Yokozuna is perhaps the most athletic Super-Heavyweight in the history of Pro-Wrestling. He came from the famed Samoan Dynasty, was trained by Afa the Wild Samoan, and wrestled between 600-700 pounds. Yoko went on to WWF stardom winning the World Title and Tag-Team titles. Yoko looked like a legit Sumo Wrestler but moved like a guy half his size.
