JR's Blog: Monday Morning Update...WM26...Q&A's Udated...Best NFL to Wrestling Potential
Posted: Nov 9th 2009 By: CMBurnham
It's another week which means that every day is a good day to be above ground.
I'll spend part of the day signing JR'S HOT bbq sauce bottles for couple of new offers we have up on our site. I hope that you order today for the holidays.
Here's some BBQ'ed random thoughts
This is NOT official but I hear out of Arizona that the first day of ticket sales for WM26 saw between 35-40,000 tickets sold. This is not WWE info therefore it isn't official. Might be a little low or a little high. But I'm guessing that it is close. As an idependent business man and dealing with the economy daily, those numbers seem strong to me. I think the event is slated for approximately 72,000 seats. Perhaps the official numbers will be updated this week.
Hawkeye in Canada....let me know what you want to purchase and where you live and I will personally see what we can do to ship you an order.
If I were CBS I would hire Fedor an English speaking manager. One who could do media and get people talking. Any challenger of Fedor cannot be a sucker and be obligated to do most of the press because Fedor is Russian. If the TV rating is decent it will be fun to see if a major network can build a MMA star.
The Monday Night Wars start again! At least in our house. The wife will want to watch Pittsburgh @ Denver so we may well occupy two different rooms or Raw may get DVR'ed.
I'm a Ricky Hatton fan and as I said last week someone's going down Monday night on RAW. Got to, right?
Smart move by Jeff Hardy keeping mum and not talking to any of the media. Jeff must have a helluva lawyer.
I'm watching the final table of the World Series of Poker TuesdayTV night on ESPN. I've become a TV Poker junkie.
Wednesday nite on the Food Network is our show w/ Chef Robert Irvine at 10/9central featuring several WWE personalities. "Dinner Impossible" should be a fun show.
One NFL star that I know would be a top star if personality and athletic ability along w/ look counts for any thing is Saints tight end and fellow Okie Jeremy Shockey. Jeremy is a friend and a legit "character."
Please get your orders in soon for your customized, autographed JR's Cookbooks that even a caveman can master.
I miss being in the UK this week but I'm feeling better and my try acupuncture this week to see if it helps my situation.
