There is a Q&A with WWE's Ted DiBiase Jr. at PJSstar.com/entertainment/x956616585/CUE-A-This-DiBiase-is-priceless. Nothing much of substance other than talking about being 5 or 6 and meeting Andre the Giant.

King Kong Bundy has been added to the WWE Alumni page.

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler launched the official site that will support his Mayor race this October at JerryLawler2009.com. Lawler is also taking online donations and launched Twitter and Facebook accounts to reach the Memphis voters. This is Lawler's second shot at the post of Mayor of Memphis after he came in third in 1999 in his first attempt getting 11.7% of ballots out of fifteen candidates. If Lawler wins the race he will have to resign from his WWE duties.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that there were wrestlers who went to TNA President Dixie Carter recently and brought up hiring either Paul Heyman or former Ring of Honor booker Gabe Sapolsky as the new TNA booker given the situation with Jeff Jarrett. Carter said they were looking at going in a different direction and wanted a writer with more of a Hollywood writing background.

In regards to Jeff Jarrett and his future with TNA Wrestling, no one seems to know anything for certain among staff and wrestlers. The word making the rounds is that when he does return he will be brought back as a wrestler, but with no front office power. This seems to be further confirmed courtesy of a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that stated Pat Kenney (Simon Diamond) was offered his old job back as an agent with TNA, but turned it down as he specifically asked about Jarrett and was told Jarrett would only be a wrestler. Either way, Jarrett coming in as a wrestler and being there without power will undoubtedly cause for a strange locker room atmosphere. More is expected to be known about the future direction of the company starting with the "Hard Justice" pay-per-view last Sunday and the "TNA iMPACT!" tapings that will follow.

During a recent interview, Kevin Nash discussed a number of topics including the situation with Jeff Jarrett in TNA. When asked if he knew what was going on right now Nash added, "I really don't know. They've keep the boys pretty much out of the loop. I've asked Dixie (Carter) and I got a 'don't ask, this doesn't concern you look.' And it doesn't. Kurt's my friend, Jeff's my friend. And I keep my nose out of it and keep my mouth shut." You can read the entire interview by clicking here.

Scott D'Amore is back in TNA, although only as an agent at this point. He will be working with the women, which Dutch Mantel had been doing before he was released.

TNA's Eric Young discusses his training by Waldo Von Erich, amongst many other topics in an article on the Miami Herald website. You can read the entire article by clicking here.

Mick Foley is planning to go to Africa later this year to do some charity work.

TNA posted a video on YouTube of Mick Foley getting stitched up after his match with Kevin nash at "Hard Justice". You can view the video by clicking here. The title says the video is graphic so be warned.

You can watch a video for The Ballad of GI Joe with cameos from Sgt. Slaughter and Chuck Liddell by clicking here.

Sgt. Slaughter talks about why he hates Jim Hellwig (Ultimate Warrior), his version of the Montreal screw job and more at Public.me.com/BrittWhitmire.

An incident happened during an appearance on Ottawa's "Daytime" talk show to promote Friday's Wrestling Supershow event in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada at the Earl Armstrong Arena. During the show Abdullah the Butcher decided for some reason to smash a plate over one of the hosts head resulting in multiple cuts. You can see footage of this at YouTube.com/watch?v=cLpiiD7edZs.

Last month at the Toyota Park in Houston, TX., there was the Hulk Hogan Fan Appreciation Day, a private autograph session that lasted four hours with WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan. Other former WWE Superstars Jimmy Hart, Tito Santana, Greg Valentine, Brutus Beefcake and The Nasty Boys (Brian knobbs & Jerry Sags) were on hand as well for the $99 autograph session. There are eighteen photos from the event which you can see by clicking here.

Madusa Miceli was interviewed for the Miami Herald website and mentioned recently being at the same event as Ric Flair, saying, "Ric Flair and I just did a huge stint in Tennessee last weekend. It was so good to see Ric. Ric Flair and I were talking about the good old times, and it was amazing. We just talked about the business and how it has changed. It was a great time to reminisce." You can read the full article by clicking here.

Tommy Rich was recently interviewed on WorldWrestlingInsanity.com. A huge topic in Tommy's career is the short NWA World Title reign he had when he defeated Harley Race. Wrestling historians and fans have wondered about the story behind it for years. Interviewer James Guttman asks Rich about it and cites Michael Hayes on a recent edition of WWE 24/7. Hayes said that the title switch was actually a "screw job" like Bret Hart-Shawn Michaels. James asks Rich about this and "Wildfire" has plenty to say: "I'm gonna tell you about Michael Hayes. Michael Hayes is a jealous man. First off, he wouldn't be in, he can run his mouth good. That's the only thing he can do. He wouldn't even be in the wrestling business if it wasn't for Buddy Roberts and Terry Gordy 'cause he would have gotten his ass whooped every time he came out of his door. Michael Hayes is a f--. That's what I think about Michael Hayes. Michael Hayes don't know nothing about my business. He don't know nothing about his business." Tommy then goes into the incident between Hayes and Mark Henry, racism, the suspension that followed, and more. Rich talks about a variety of things including his early days as NWA hero, Heat With Ric Flair, The Two Things He Had With Him The Night He Hid Under The Ring For Jerry Lawler vs. Austin Idol, John Cena Blaming Old School Wrestling For Drugs, How Paul Heyman "Used To Talk a Rebel's Game", The Wrestler Who Named Him "Wildfire", The Wrestler Who Wanted To Bring Him To The WWF, What Happened When He Tried Steroids, The Last Battle of Atlanta, The Promise Abdullah The Butcher Kept, Heat With Bill Watts, The Insane $20 Payouts He Got From Bill and Eddie Graham, What Happened For The First Time At The ICP Show That Never Happened In His Entire Career, Why He Went To The AWA, Drinking, Vince McMahon Sr., Wahoo McDaniel, Chris Benoit, Dusty Rhodes in Polka Dots, his Full Blooded Italian ECW heritage, and more. Gillem, whose real name was Gladys Wall, was a pioneer of women?s wrestling, debuting during World War II. Her feats of bravery and toughness were legendary and, besides wrestling, she also performed dangerous stunts with lions, bears and alligators. Gillem was one of 6 women wrestlers featured in the documentary ?Lipstick and Dynamite, Piss and Vinegar: The First Ladies of Wrestling? in 2004.
