JR's Blog: Q&A'S Updated...FREE SHIPPING...WWE.Com Blog Posted...Opinions

Before I continue my weekly projects from WWE world, I wanted to take a break and remind everyone that I have updated the Q&A section of our website. I hope that you will check it out. More thoughts to ponder....

Some within WWE may get some "well deserved" time of from their grueling schedules while others within the company continue to work diligently no matter the previous few days on the road.

I sure found plenty of work to do when I arrived home and that will take me into the July 4th weekend to finish my WWE commitments.

Raw superstars had an event last night in Auckland, New Zealand that was at capacity with over 10,000 fans in attendance selling over 500K in tickets at the box office. No injuries to report and the Raw crew will make their way to Sydney, Australia for a sold out event there of over 17,000 fans and over 900K at the box office which is damned near a one million dollar gate by my math here in Oklahoma.

Recently I wrote something about some "experts" on wrestling internet sites. Some internet sites are informative and post feedback from many intelligent fans who have interesting and often times insightful opinions of the current wrestling scene. I don't mean to unfairly lump all those who read the internet or who respond to it in one basket as I have often times done. That is my mistake. However, some Internet users seem to utilize message boards, etc as a means to remain anonymous and to be able to say any profane and hurtful remarks they choose for the sake of being defiant, cool, and sensationalistic. Again, those are the minority of wrestling fans who thrive in internet land, thank goodness.

However, the bottom line is that every one has the right to their opinion especially on such a public entity as a weekly, TV show involving public personas. I do know that some of the younger talents who are more internet savvy and dependent than many of us old timers are more bothered by what is written about them then some who have been around for longer than a glass of sweet tea.

I often read about wrestlers "getting a push." Is that perceived in wrestling fan land as good or bad? If I were an in ring performer, I would prefer to "earn" a push rather than to "get" a push. Plus the more people that earn a push the more people that are likely to click with the audience. New is good even if the "new" may be temporary.

R Truth is another young man who is earning his "push" and looks to have a potentially, successful career ahead of him on Friday Night Smackdown. I have seen noticeable improvement from R Truth since he first came back to WWE which means Truth is working hard and he is being coached up. Ron is a very charismatic young man and will be demonstrating more of his personality in the upcoming weeks.

Just a suggestion but if I were an unbooked WWE wrestler who really thought he or she had the goods to make it in WWE, I would locate, at least temporarily, to Tampa and basically "live" at the FCW facility. These unbooked talents need tons of ring time and with there being no weekly territories available it seems that Florida Championship Wrestling in Tampa would be the logical place to reside for any young talents. I hope that the new "call up's" are still going to spend all the time they can on the mat between WWE bookings.

Just my two cents, but this really applies to the Divas who are not on the road regularly and who need all the additional hours in the ring that they can receive.

My Smackdown blog is up at www.wwe.com on the Smackdown page. Check it out. For those of you feeling adventurous, I mention WWE HOF'er "The Fink" in his New York Mets styled Speedo in this particular offering...just to warn you.

We have many personally and authentically signed products available in our on line store awaiting your order. It's the grilling season for many of you and I hope that you will try our Sauces and Rubs to make your backyard delights even better.

Thanks for stopping by.....my break is over!
