Bushwacker Luke was a guest on "Hit The Ropes Radio Show" last week and talked about his WWF run, his Memphis days, and more. He noted back in the day when the Sheepherders were feuding with The Fabulous Ones, he often had to get escorted out the building by police because fans literally wanted to kill them. He said he would often get his car tires slashed and his windshield smashed. You can hear the interview by clicking here.

The Spin Cycle will return to TNAwrestling.com next week and will feature A. J. Styles, Matt Morgan, Lauren, and Don West.

Local radio advertisements in the Detroit, MI area are hyping that the annual King of the Mountain match at "Slammiversary" will feature Mick Foley, Sting, Kurt Angle, A. J. Styles, and a fifth mystery person. The homecoming of Scott Steiner is mentioned as well.

It looks like the Nature Boy Ric Flair has missed the big leagues more than he anticipated as the Hall of Famer returned on WWE television last Sunday at "Judgment Day" helping his friend Batista at the end of his match against Randy Orton. Flair recently expressed interest in wrestling again and said he would do it if he gets the blessing of WWE and Shawn Michaels. The Naitch said multiple times in the past that he could make more money on his own by making appearances, signing autographs and giving speeches than being employed by World Wrestling Entertainment and that was the reason he left in August of two years ago. Flair has been recently working with Ring of Honor and it is not known yet what will happen to that deal since Flair is now back on WWE television.

Ric Flair is doing a short-term program for a number of reasons. He's obviously been texting them wanting to come back and he does want to wrestle (reaction is mixed on that account, essentially it's up to Vince but last Sunday night's angle would seem to indicate he'll probably do something at the next PPV), and they believe the Raw ratings are down because of the lack of star power, and Flair has historically been a ratings draw. It's meant as sort of a filler program because they want to keep Triple H out several more weeks. Flair worked an indy show last Friday night in Lincolnton, NC and was at the NASCAR All-Star race as a celebrity guest of Coca Cola on Saturday night. The crowd and the announcers were doing the "Whooo" when they showed him doing it.

Ric Flair drew over 1300 fans last Friday night for Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling in Lincolnton, NC at West Lincoln High School. Main event was David Flair & Ricky Morton over Buff Bagwell & Rikki Nelson. The show also featured Raven, Chris Hamrick, Bobby Eaton and Amber O'Neal.
