NEWS
At the WWE Supplemental Draft last Wednesday, Charlie Haas was drafted to Smackdown.

Cody Rhodes arrived arm-in-arm with Beth Phoenix at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. The duo have been an item for more than a year.

Barry Allen is the new ring name for Dakota Darsow in Florida Championship Wrestling. Darsow is the son of former WCW and WWF star Barry Darsow.

WWE released their "Greatest Stars of the '90's" DVD. Among the matches featured on the disc are:
-Ric Flair vs. Hulk Hogan (11-30-91)
-WCW International World Champion Sting vs. Vader (WCW Slamboree '94)
-WWF World Champion Shawn Michaels vs. Vader (WWF Summerslam '96)
-Mankind vs. Triple H in a Steel Cage (WWF Summerslam '97)
-WCW United States Champion Bret Hart vs. Sting (WCW Halloween Havoc '98)

TNA Legends Champion A. J. Styles listed his 5 favorite video games in the May 2009 issue of Game Informer Magazine. Ironically, the issue also has the review of WWE's "Legends of Wrestlemania" game.

TNA has a new Spin Cycle on its web site as Dmitri Young (Washington Nationals baseball star), Mike Tenay (huge baseball fan), Vince Russo (huge baseball fan), and Mick Foley (who wrote a book with a baseball backdrop) are guests talking--baseball.

After Mick Foley defeated Sting for the TNA World Title at the "Lockdown" pay-per-view event in Philadelphia, new TNA World Tag Team Champions Team 3D (Brother Ray & Brother Devon) came out to congratulate Foley and also to thank the Philadelphia fans.

The June 2009 issue of Pro Wrestling Illustrated features The PWI Poll. Several Oklahoma based wrestlers were featured:
-Jack Swagger was named Wrestling's Next Breakout Star
-Jim Ross was named Wrestling's Best TV Announcer
-Ric Flair was predicted as TNA's Biggest New Signing for 2009
-"In a managing role" was the outcome in the best way TNA could utilize Mick Foley
-A. J. Styles was named as the one name WWE should add to its talent pool
-70% said we have seen the last of Ric Flair as an active wrestler

In the same issue of Pro Wrestling Illustrated, they listed the 25 greatest wrestlers who never won a world title. The list included Bruiser Brody, Edouard Carpentier, Bryan Danielson, Ted DiBiase, Gorgeous George, Scott Hall, Danny Hodge, Ernie Ladd, Jose Lothario, Mil Mascaras, Wahoo McDaniel, Mitsuharu Misawa, Keiji Muto, Pat Patterson, Roddy Piper, Rikidozan, Jake Roberts, Billy Robinson, Antonio Rocca, El Santo, Ray Stevens, A. J. Styles, Genichiro Tenyru, Greg Valentine, and Johnny Valentine. It should be noted that A. J. Styles held the NWA Heavyweight Title on 3 occasions prior to PWI restoring world title status to the NWA Championship. Also, Gorgeous George held the AWA World Title but it was while the AWA Title was split and he was only recognized as World Champion in the Boston section of the AWA territory.

Ric Flair is featured in the video game "Red Alert 3". There is a trailer currently on YouTube featuring Flair in a military uniform barking out orders. You can view the trailer by clicking here.

"The Wrestler" DVD that comes out on April 21st has a roundtable discussion of wrestling with Lex Luger, Greg Valentine, Roddy Piper, Brutus Beefcake, and Dallas Page.

Bret Hart is currently in the United Kingdom promoting his book The Hitman: My Real Life in the Cartoon World of Wrestling which was released a few weeks ago and popular men's magazine Maxim caught up with the WWE Hall of Famer for an interview. It's kinda funny because Maxim asked Bret about people such as the Red Rooster, Bushwackers, the Ultimate Warrior, and Jake Roberts and never once mentioned his book. You can read it at the Maxim website: Maxim.co.UK/Entertainment/Interviews/16536/Bret_The_Hitman_Hart.html

There are interviews with Dutch Savage and Lanny Poffo up at 57Gold.com.

At the Pro Wrestling Mid-Atlantic event in Chesapeake, VA on April 18th, Dusty Rhodes and Magnum T. A. were both in attendance and Rhodes did a promo putting over Magnum. When he was finished, Baby Doll showed up and handed him the infamous envelope from 1988. He opened it up to reveal "a certificate for Dusty".

Oklafan would like to congratulate SWCW Cruiserweight Champion Rage and SWCW Luchadore Champion Shank. They both surpassed 6 months as champion on March 27th.

Oklafan would also like to congratulate NWA Oklahoma Champion Spoiler 2000. He surpassed 6 months as champion on April 3rd.

Oklafan would also like to congratulate Scotty Charisma on the birth of his daughter Sophia Elizabeth on March 15th.
