NEWS
GPCW has officially changed the name of their Cruiserweight Title. The title is being renamed the GPCW Wichita Mountains Title. Li'l Joe, who just celebrated 6 months as GPCW Cruiserweight Champion, will continue to be recognized as champion of the newly renamed title.

Mick Foley reportedly botched a line at the recent "TNA iMPACT!" TV tapings and had to go back out and redo an entire promo before the live crowd reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. It isn't known which taping this took place at, but when he came out he admitted he botched a line and would have to do it again. Foley asked the crowd to "keep this our little secret" and asked them to react the same as they did it the first time. So in typical Orlando fashion, the fans reacted twice as loud and made it even better for TV.

The Holiday edition of "The Spin Cycle" is up featuring Mick Foley, Robert Roode, Jay Lethal and Sojourner Bolt. The show also features a cameo by The Beautiful People and footage from the Universal Studios Christmas parade. It can be viewed on TNAwrestling.com.

The upcoming release of the "Best of Saturday Night's Main Event" DVD will feature over thirty matches spanning over three discs including the first match and main event from the May 11, 1985 debut broadcast. The DVD is hosted by Mean Gene Okerlund and has interviews with past and current WWE Superstars. From Hulk Hogan vs. Terry Funk, to The Hart Foundation (Bret Hart & Jim Neidhart) vs. The British Bulldogs (Davey Boy Smith & Dynamite Kid), The Honky Tonk Man vs. Macho Man Randy Savage, and much more, this DVD will surely be one of the must-buy for any WWE fan. It comes out on February 10th.

The site of WrestleMania VIII - the RCA Dome in Indianapolis, IN., - was destroyed on Saturday in carefully orchestrated implosion. Back when the WWE hosted the show there it was known as the Hoosier Dome. Over 62,000 fans turned out for that event which saw Bret Hart winning the IC title against Roddy Piper, Macho Man winning the WWE title from Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan's last match in the WWE for quite a while against Sid Justice. And who can ever forget the Ultimate Warrior's return at the end of the show sprinting all the way down to the ring to save the Hulkster from Papa Shango and Justice? Ah, memories. WrestleMania VIII was also a night of goofs mainly with Ric Flair blading in front of cameras, Papa Shango missing his cue to break a pin fall and Sid Justice getting DQed for no apparent reason after his manager Harvey Wippleman barely interfered. The local Indianapolis WIBC radio station caught the implosion - which is pretty cool - and you can see it by clicking here.
