The Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum in Amsterdam, NY announced the names for their 2009 induction class. Inductees include Evan Lewis, Wladek Zbyszko, Billy Graham, Jay Strongbow, Randy Savage, Paul Orndorff, Antonio Inoki, Lou Albano, Donna Christantello, and the tag team of Mark Lewin & Don Curtis.
Ric Flair was in Chicago on Saturday night for PCW. Didn't get a crowd number but there was a long line of people to pay $75 to get an autograph and photo. Flair spent less than five minutes in the ring speaking, and never mentioned his son Reid, who wasn't there although he had originally been advertised to make his debut on the card before it was canceled earlier in the week.
Ric Flair's interview on Comcast Tuesday night was a mess. The live feed was preempted by a Philadelphia Flyers game, and an 11pm replay had no audio.

B. Brian Blair lost his election a few weeks ago for County Commissioner in Hillsborough County (Tampa, FL).
X-Cal was slated to participate in ComPro's Oklahoma Stampede this last Saturday, but was unable to due to being stricken with acute tonsilitis. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.

WWE World Women's Champion Beth Phoenix defeated Candice Michelle at the WWE house show in Elmira, NY
Halo defeated Michael Faith in a tournament to earn a title shot at the NWA-SW/PWF Heavyweight Title. Halo defeated Joey Armstrong and Shawn Sanders (not the one from Oklahoma) to reach the finals. Faith defeated Southern Pitbull and Maximus McGuirk to reach the finals. McGuirk defeated Rexx Reed to reach the semi-finals. Halo also won a Battle Royal to begin the show.
