Shane Douglas is currently teaching 8th grade social studies. Douglas still lives in the Pittsburgh, PA area, and was working at a local Target until he could find a teaching position. Douglas is still accepting independent bookings at mptko13@yahoo.com.

On WWE 24/7 for December, the Hall of Fame profile will be Paul Orndorff, and major events include WWE Tuesday in Texas from 1991 with Hulk Hogan vs. Undertaker, and Randy Savage vs. Jake Roberts; a 1985 Toronto house show with Hulk Hogan vs. Terry Funk, and The British Bulldogs (Dynamite Kid & Davey Boy Smith) vs.The Dream Team (Greg Valentine & Brutus Beefcake), and a 1988 Spectrum show in Philadelphia with Randy Savage vs. Haku for the WWE title, Andre the Giant vs. Jake Roberts, and The Rockers (Shawn Michaels & Marty Jannetty) vs. The Brain Busters (Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard). Plus 2006 Tribute to the Troops, and Raw vs. Nitro from November 1997.

Vince McMahon did an interview on WBCN in Boston Monday promoting that night's show, talking about how Mae Young has this sexuality around her and magnetism, and talked about her giving birth to a hand.

The comic book "Headlocked: The Tryout" #1 with a cover painted by Jerry Lawler debuted in comic book stores on Wednesday.

The poster for TNA's "Final Resolution" PPV has Sting without the TNA World Title. It may or may not be a spoiler, just interesting to note.

Don West has a new A. J. Styles package up at ShopTNA.com.

Kurt Angle was recently interviewed by Josh Stewart of the Long Island Press and when asked about the heat he has with Jeff Jarrett following the comments he made about him on TNA television, Angle said that he expected Jarrett to jump him once he went backstage after bringing up his wife in an in-ring interview. "Jeff and I don't see eye to eye. A lot of stuff you see on TV is very transparent on how we feel about each other." However Angle praised Jarrett and TNA President Dixie Carter for having the proper reins on the company to keep the Main Event Mafia from becoming a negative. To read the entire interview, click here.

A few weeks ago when Ric Flair appeared for the 1PW organization in the United Kingdom, he said that he is considering a return to the ring in Japan as long as Shawn Michaels gives him his blessing since he promised him his last match at WrestleMania XXIV. Flair said this while participating in a Q and A session with fans prior to the actual show where he also appeared and cut a promo in the ring later in the evening. Now, the WWE Hall of Famer is saying otherwise. "Absolutely not," Flair told the Charleston Post & Courier newspaper. "That's just propaganda," he added. Flair apparently forgot that it was actually him who started the rumors and not New Japan.

Ric Flair turned down New Japan Pro Wrestling's offer to wrestle Masahiro Chono at the January 4th Tokyo Dome show. The snag appears to be money related. New Japan is still talking about bringing in a former big name WWE star for their annual Tokyo Dome show.

Pink Sneakers Productions - the same company which produced the "Hogan Knows Best" and "Brooke Knows Best" reality TV shows for VH1 - are working on a pilot with WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair and his son Reid that will be pitched to networks in the next few weeks. Filming on the show began last week and it will follow Ric and Reid who are now living together as "bachelors". If the series gets picked up by anyone the tentative date to start production is January 2009. Flair's soon-to-be ex-wife Tiffany has filed for divorce from the Nature Boy after two years of marriage. She is his third wife.

Bill Goldberg is now doing television commercials for personal injury law firms. In the commercials, Goldberg discusses being injured in a car accident, on the job, etc. and reportedly they are surprisingly tasteful. However the asking price is $6,000 to film the ads (6-8 of them at 15-30 sec. each) and another $6,000 for the rights to air them in your firm's TV market for six months.

Infinity Entertainment Group is putting out a DVD of old USWA footage from Memphis built around early matches of Jerry Lawler, Undertaker (as The Punisher), Mick Foley, Jeff Jarrett and Steve Austin, as well as bouts with Terry Funk and Kerry Von Erich, called Ultimate Classic Wrestling Presents, which will be released on Tuesday.

Michael Faith taped a video message for NWA Texas Heavyweight Champion Kevin Northcutt which is currently on You Tube. You can view it by clicking here.
