NEWS
Ric Flair is mulling over huge money offers to wrestle in Japan. Flair has turned down large sums of money to wrestle in the United States, United Kingdom, and in Canada. Flair apparently is open to wrestling in Japan and/or Korea.

Ric Flair spoke out about his son Reid Flair, claiming that a WWE debut is possible and that if it happens there is a chance we may see Ric in his son's corner. However, according to a new report filed by ProWrestling.net, WWE management may have a few reservations about bringing the rookie into the company. One source within WWE notes that "he has a lot of maturity issues and he's had them his whole life." The feeling is that Reid suffers from a number of behavioral issues, and that bringing him into WWE may cause more trouble than it would benefit.

On the road, Fit Finlay works as a wrestler/coach, the role originally designed for Chris Benoit. In particular, Finlay has been working with ECW newcomer Jack Swagger since his call up from Florida Championship Wrestling.

In case you didn't notice, Jack Swagger's new theme music on ECW this week was the former theme of the recently released Lance Cade. The theme is also a knock off of "Testify" by Rage Against the Machine.

WWE.com has photos up of Charlie Haas with his wife and kids as well his Custom Muscle shop. You can view pics by clicking here.

Tony Atlas was brought in to be a good influence on Mark Henry. The former ECW champion typically would travel alone, and developed a reputation for having a poor diet. Atlas, who now travels with Henry, still trains religiously and eats healthy.

Mexican star Dos Caras Jr., son of Dos Caras and nephew of Mil Mascaras, has signed with WWE and is scheduled to make his debut at the Royal Rumble.

The match listing for the upcoming Edge DVD has been released. Among the matches are Edge vs. Mick Foley (Wrestlemania XXII), Edge, Mick Foley & Lita vs. Terry Funk, Tommy Dreamer & Beulah McGillicutty (ECW One Night Stand 2006) and Edge vs. Jeff Jarrett (7-24-99; Edge wins WWF Intercontinental Title).

TNA had two huge signs outside of Penn Station near Madison Square Garden with Mick Foley on them, building up Thursday's announcement.

Comedy.com published a list of the 13 worst gimmicks of all time. Koko B. Ware came in #10 and Repo Man tied with Irwin R. Shyster at #9. The Red Rooster and The Honky Tonk Man got honorable mentions. #1 was Tugboat.

Sports Publishing out of Chicago has filed for bankrupcy. The company published numerous wrestling books including Terry Funk, Harley Race, Dusty Rhodes and others.

Bill Goldberg started ESPN's E:60 interview with Brock Lesnar by saying the following: "He's a genetic freak. If God was to sit there and like, build a warrior, they'd think it would come out to be Brock Lesnar."

During the World Series ,they had a commercial for "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader". They're having a celebrity version and it said "WWE's Goldberg", while showing video of Bill head locking Jeff Foxworthy .

NWA Texas Heavyweight Champion Kevin Northcutt has agreed in principle to defend the title against Michael Faith but the time and place has not yet been decided.

The book "Journal of a Journeyman" by Dusty Wolfe, with Brian Thompson and Brian Tramel, will be released on Tuesday. You can preorder the book with a discount code at www.rronews.com.
