NEWS
With an appearance from Mick Foley and the returning Jeff Jarrett, "TNA iMPACT!" had no change in its usual ratings as the show pulled the average 1.1 for this past Thursday's show. It seems that no matter who TNA brings in, viewers who don't usually watch the show don't even tune in just for the curiosity factor.

Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett is one of the current plans for "Bound for Glory".

During some cable feeds of TNA's "No Surrender" pay-per-view on September 14th, an error occured during the Frank Trigg vs A. J. Styles match and they accidentally cut to a porno scene where two nude ladies were kissing in bed.

Sting lost his train of thought Sunday night during his PPV opening promo which led to the segment running long.

Brother Ray ripped into the promoter involved in the Jake Roberts incident. It can be heard by clicking here.

MWF has pulled Jake Roberts from its November 15th booking with him in Melrose, MA at Memorial Hall. The promotion sent out a release saying that booking Roberts is a risk not worth taking.

Due to a family emergency, Todd Grisham wasn't able to attend Sunday's "ECW on SciFi" TV tapings in Columbus, OH. Jim Ross worked with Matt Striker on the show that airs this Tuesday night.

Kid Kash and Brickhouse Brown were backstage at the "WWE Smackdown" TV tapings in Nashville last week.

Jackie Fargo did a phone interview on last week's Memphis Wrestling TV show. He challenged Jerry Lawler. He meant it as a joke as it's not going to happen.

There was lots of talk about the recent Legends of Wrestling show on "WWE 24/7" with Ric Flair and Mick Foley as guests. The subject was famous factions in wrestling. It includes Flair going off on Shane Douglas when Tazz brought up The Triple Threat, and Flair saying the worst faction ever was the nWo because they were never professional and gave back.

RF Video is now taking orders for a shoot interview with Ric Flair. The 3 DVD set has over 10 hours in-depth interviews, stories, and so much more fom the legendary "Nature Boy". Expected delivery is November and can be ordered at RFVideo.com.

Twenty years after Ric Flair last appeared for the NWA, the Nature Boy is teaming up again with the promotion that made him who he is today. The National Wrestling Alliance will have Flair on October 4th at the RMB Fairgrounds in Robstown, TX., for a meet and greet session which will benefit the local Boys and Girls Club. NWA Executive Director Robert Trobich said, "This is not only a great opportunity for Ric's many fans in the Corpus Christi area, but it's for a great cause; the Boys and Girls Club. I'm glad that the NWA and Ric are finally working together. It's been a long time coming and we're planning for a long lasting relationship." Flair was equally excited with his participation. "I am anxious for this trip to Corpus Christi for many reasons. First, because its for the Boys and Girls Club. They offer great social and athletic opportunities to young people and I'm happy to be helping them raise some money. Also, this is the first time in 20 years that the NWA and myself will be conducting business and I'm wanting to see the wrestling later that night," he said. For more information go to RMBFairgrounds.com.

During an interview with ClubWWI.com, Erik Watts discussed a myriad of things including the insane Reason why Jeff Jarrett wanted to fire him from TNA, crazy TNA politics, why Brian Urlacher of the Chicago Bears was upset with his TNA appearance, the former WCW Champion that Erik threatened to beat up, why he left wrestling, how his dad (Bill Watts) egged Rick Steiner into beating Erik up, how his dad's war with the dirtsheets lead to unfair critics, early memories of The Blade Runners (Sting and Ultimate Warrior) at his house, the origins of the DOA gimmick, Lex Luger staying with him during his paralysis recovery, the huge heat he had in WCW, shooting on Paul Heyman, creating the "Triple J" chant, how you can get discounted Mid-South Wrestling DVDs and more. The interview is over 100 minutes in length and can be heard by going to the ClubWWI.com website.

The October issue of Sooner Illustrated has a list of the greatest athlete with every jersey number in the history of University of Oklahoma sports. The greatest No. 76 in school history was Steve Williams, who was an all-league offensive guard in 1982 and an All-American heavyweight wrestler in 1980, 1981, 1982 and 1983.

Reports are circulating that Brent Albright may have injured his shoulder at the September 19th Ring of Honor event in Boston, MA which may explain why he dropped the NWA World Title so quickly.

And now from the We Goofed!!! department:
Last week we reported that SWCW Tag Team Champions X-Rated def. The New Style Angels and Maniacal Mike in a Handicap Match at the OECW event in Wichita Falls, TX on September 13th. In actuality, it was Shane Sanchez & Jason Sanchez (aka SWCW Hardcore Champion Kareem Sadat) that faced that trio.

Congratulations goes out to Tim Rockwell and The Innovators for recently surpassing 6 months as champions. Rockwell won the TAP Oklahoma Heritage Title and The Innovators won the TAP Tag Team Titles at TAP's first show on March 22nd.
