NEWS
It is reported that WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is asking $15,000 to do autograph signings and personal appearances. In comparison, Hulk Hogan asks a hefty $75,000. Bill Goldberg seeks $30,000 per appearance, and Steve Austin asks $20,000. Flair is also being offered shoot interview deals, which should bring in more than $50,000 for the Nature Boy. It appears the starting price to book Ric Flair is $12,500. The price obviously doesn't include a plane ticket and hotel room for the "Nature Boy."

Ric Flair made his first post-WWE appearance yesterday at the NWA Legends convention in his hometown of Charlotte, NC. When Flair was under his WWE contract he was not allowed to participate in events like these and the primary reason why Flair wanted out was to be able to make appearances at non-WWE related events. The sixteen time World Heavyweight champion signed autographs - to fans who paid $100 a pop - for three straight hours. At the NWA Fanfest in Charlotte, Flair seemed to be in great spirits. He saw Bob Caudle for the first time in 16 years. Flair also made it clear he won't wrestle again.

Michael Kingston of the "Headlocked" cartoon is offering a 40% off retailer discount on the special edition with the Jerry Lawler drawn cover to any independent promotion looking at selling or using as a promotional tool at headlockedcomic@yahoo.com. He's asking to be e-mailed by Thursday.

Jakks Pacific is working hard to sign both Hercules Hernandez and Dino Bravo on for their Classic Superstars line.

British tabloid newspaper The Sun is running a story regarding Mick Foley jumping to TNA, quoting a friend of the hardcore legend as the source. Foley is expected to be out of WWE on September 1st when his current contract expires. Foley himself said that as things stand right now, he will not be re-signing his deal, leaving the current post of Smackdown! color commentator. "Mick's body cannot handle a full time schedule, even in TNA. But he's hell bent on doing everything he can to further his legacy and put them on the map. So Mick's plan is to wrestle select dates, like Sting currently does," the story says. Foley was not present at Tuesday night's Smackdown! television tapings, his second miss in a row after getting beat up by Edge on a recent edition of the broadcast. Many believe SummerSlam will be his last appearance for WWE at least for the time being...if he's written into the story. Foley's alleged friend continues, "He feels he will legitimately make a big difference in the way TNA Wrestling is perceived by the public!" The former WWE champ was close to signing with TNA a couple of years ago but eventually decided to stay loyal to WWE.

Mick Foley was originally scheduled to play a part in the Edge-Undertaker Hell in a Cell Match as it was the 10th anniversary of his Hell In The Cell Match with Taker, but was told in the week that the plan had changed, and that he wasn't needed.

Here are the Line Ups for this Wednesday's WWE MSG Classics.

Hour One (Original Air Date: December 30, 1988):
WWF World Tag Team Champions Demolition (Ax & Smash) vs. The Powers of Pain (Warlord & Barbarian)
Ronnie Garvin vs. Greg Valentine
WWF World Champion Randy Savage vs. Bad News Brown

Hour Two (Original Air Date: September 26, 1977):
Bob Backlund vs. Larry Sharpe
Peter Maivia vs. George Steele
Billy Graham vs. Dusty Rhodes

It is by no means considered a lock that recently released WWE superstar Shannon Moore is headed back to TNA. You may recall that TNA put him over A. J. Styles, only for Moore to bolt to WWE while delaying to sign a deal with TNA.

The current plan right now is to have Jeff Jarrett return at or just before TNA's "Bound For Glory" pay-per-view in October.

One of the matches being considered for the October "Bound for Glory" PPV has the returning Jeff Jarrett vs. Sting, with the loser being forced to retire.

The plans for a TNA World Champion Samoa Joe vs. Kevin Nash title match at TNA's next PPV "No Surrender" appear to have been scrapped in favor of a tag team or a 6-Man tag team match. One of the matches being discussed has Samoa Joe, Matt Morgan, & Kevin Nash facing Sting, Booker T, and possibly Kurt Angle.

Pro Wrestling Illustrated's "PWI 500" issue should on news stands very soon. This year's list has Randy Orton ranked #1. Wrestlers with Oklahoma ties on the list include:
#19 Ric Flair
#21 A. J. Styles
#84 Sting
#120 Brent Albright
#184 Charlie Haas
#211 Tatsumi Fujinami
#213 Rikishi
#222 Jake Hager
#348 Al Snow
#377 Jim Duggan
#380 Jerry Lawler
#383 Scott Wright (AKA Scotty Charisma)
#476 Matt Riviera

The Ultimate Warrior's ex-wife is writing a book about the former WWF World Champion.
