NEWS
Zane Morris will be a guest on Indywarz Radio tonight starting at 8pm Central. He will be discussing his wrestling career and his new book that was just released. You can listen to Indywarz Radio by clicking here.

The Kentucky Boxing and Wrestling Authority suspended wrestlers Ricky Morton and Bobby Eaton for no-showing a Kentucky promoter. The pair were scheduled to appear at a show, but evidently reneged and worked the NWA reunion show in Georgia instead. They are now suspended until they appear before the Board.

WWE.com is advertising the June 30th edition of RAW (which eminates from Oklahoma City) as a 3-hour special. It might be a mistake, as the one on June 23rd is definitely a 3-hour version, including the WWE Draft or we might get two 3-hour RAWs in a row.

There is an article on Tom Fleming, a costume designer for WWE in the mid-90s at www.The-Trades.com/article.php?id=10340. It's a funny interview including talking about almost getting into a fist fight with Curt Hennig because he designed the Adam Bomb singlet which Curt thought was too similar to his. On Vince: "I am going to reserve my opinion of Mr. McMahon. I personally didn't experience any problems with him, but many people cannot say the same." Said the coolest guys to him were Bret Hart, Randy Savage, Scott Hall, Bryan Clark, Charles Wright and Chris Chavis. He said the biggest jerks were Curt Hennig, Bobby Heenan, and "the biggest dickhead by far was the Ultimate Warrior." Who could have guessed?

On his website last week, Jim Ross talked about going to Connecticut on Thursday for a 24/7 taping where he, Ric Flair, Mick Foley, Tazz, and Gene Okerlund discussed the greatest wrestling factions as well as the most important moments in wrestling history. He said it was the most controversial Legends Roundtable ever, taped for three hours and unfortunately, likely edited down to one hour. Flair in particular had a lot to say about WCW and when it got brought up that the nWo was one of the great factions. They were, and boy is that a subject you could talk about forever. Also coming up as one of the biggest moments in wrestling history was the 1997 Survivor Series. That discussion should be interesting given Flair doesn't like Bret Hart and is best friends with Triple H and Shawn Michaels, who were integral in what happened, and Mick Foley, when it comes to that subject, has always been strong in thinking in the other direction about what happened.

Ric Flair is scheduled to be present at tonight's Raw tapings.

WWE did prevent Ric Flair from appearing at the NWA Hall of Fame ceremony, but is allowing him to do independent autograph appearances.

There was internal debate last week whether or not to mention the return of Ric Flair on WWE's web site prior to Raw. Obviously they opted to the surprise return of "The Nature Boy."

During the UFC event Saturday night, ring announcer Spencer Fisher was giving an introduction much like Michael Buffer would give Ric Flair. Then he gave out a "Whoo!". Mike Goldberg mentioned that Fisher is a huge fan of Ric Flair.

The WWE settled a lawsuit with Memphis promoter Cory Maclin. The case involved the WWE pulling Jerry Lawler from a show in which he was scheduled to face Hulk Hogan. Lawler was replaced on the card with The Big Show, who was not under WWE contract at the time. As part of the settlement, neither side is allowed to talk about it, but it is believed the figure was fairly significant.

In addition to his punishments (including losing his Vice President tag and agreeing to not to drink at company functions), writer Michael Hayes is one strike from receiving his pink slip.

Mick Foley's latest major cause is working with Pantene Beautiful Lengths, a group that make free wigs for women who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy treatment for cancer. Foley's wife and daugther are both having their hair cut for the cause, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

The lineup for "WWE at The Garden" on the MSG Network for this week is as follows:

Episode 1 (January 23, 1984): Ivan Putski vs. Sgt. Slaughter, Magnificent Muraco vs. Tito Santana, and WWF World Champion Iron Sheik vs. Hulk Hogan

Episode 2 (February 20, 1989): The Bushwackers (Luke & Butch) vs. The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers (Jacques & Raymond), Brutus Beefcake vs. Mr. Perfect, WWF World Champion Randy Savage vs. WWF Intercontinental Champion Ultimate Warrior

Jakks Pacific's Classic Superstars 20 is now available for pre-order through RingsideCollectibles.com and includes The Sandman, Tony Atlas, The Rock, Ron Simmons, Dynamite Kid, Rey Mysterio, Ric Flair, and John Cena (LJN styles chaser).

June 19th was the official 6th anniversary of TNA. When TNA began it was a weekly pay-per-view and the 1st one was held in Huntsville, AL and featured Ken Shamrock winning the vacant NWA World Title in a Gauntlet Match. He last defeated Malace (aka Jerry "The Wall" Tuite) to win the title. The show also featured a performance by country music mega star (and Oklahoma native) Toby Keith, and the first ever X Divison match as A. J. Styles, Jerry Lynn, and Low Ki took on The Flying Elvises (Sonny Siaki, Jimmy Yang, and Jorge Estrada).

IGN.COM has posted a video of the upcoming TNA game "iMPACT!" with A. J. Styles taking on Samoa Joe playing as their own characters. The IGN story is also featured on the front page. Originally the game was scheduled to be released in June however it was delayed up until September with no explanation given as to why Midway pushed back the release. The game will come out for PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii. You can see the video of the game by clicking here.

A. J. Styles and Samoa Joe give their thoughts on the current crop of wrestling video games. You can view the video by clicking here.

WWE Hall of Famer Paul Orndorff will be inducted into the NWA Hall of Fame in 2009.

Cheerleader Melissa announced last week that she has once again registered for AIDS Walk San Francisco. She says she wants to do as much as she can to make a difference in the lives of men, women, and children affected by HIV and AIDS. She is asking for sponsors for the event. If you would like to sponsor her you can click here.

If you have an extra $30 lying around, you can sign up NOW for the Ultimate Warrior's website, which will give you access to footage throughout the month leading up to his return against Orlando Jordan. More info is available at www.UltimateWarriorTV.com/blog?page_id=56.

An "anti Warrior" group are planning on protesting the Ultimate Warrior's return to the ring outside the arena of the upcoming Nu Wrestling Entertainment event in Barcelona, Spain. They have also said they plan to "jump the barricade" as well. NWE has concerns about this threat as Warrior refuses to back down and he will make his return at ALL costs on June 25th. This group claims to be 800 strong and says they will ?disrupt? and even ?stop? the event.

The ComPro roster will be featured in next month's issue of "Disciples Monthly" magazine. Several superstars will be interviewed for the article, including ComPro Champion Romero Contreras. A group picture of the ComPro roster was taken in the ring for the article following the June 21st show.
