5-26 WWE RAW

Beth Phoenix provided commentary during the Jillian Hall/Melina match

Ted DiBiase came out and introduced his son, Ted DiBiase, Jr. Ted, Jr. said he dreamed of being a champion since he was young. His dad was a 3-time WWF World Tag Team Champion. He guaranteed that on his 1st match, he would become a champion. Everybody has a price, but he is simply priceless.

A video was shown of Roddy Piper training Cousin Sal for a match against Santino Marella. Piper slapped Sal who said he'd do this some other time. Jimmy Kimmel came in and asked if Piper taught him all the moves. Piper demonstrated moves on Sal at Kimmel's request while Sal screamed in pain. Kimmel said Piper was a great teacher and Sal's whole family was depending on him. Sal said he wanted to go take a nap, but Piper put him in a sleeper. Kimmel drew a mustache on Sal, then went to lunch with Piper.

5-29 TNA iMPACT

LAX, Salinas and Hector Guerrero came out to confront Team 3-D and Booker T. Guerrero said they talked too much. LAX & Guerrero can be bloodied, but they keep coming back. Jim Cornette gave them an opportunity at Slammiversary, but why put off to tomorrow what can be done today? Christian Cage & Rhino came out. Cage said he was sorry to interrupt the fiesta, but he wanted to respond to Booker T. He asked "Bob Marley" what he had been smoking. Ever since Booker showed up in TNA, he expected people to bow and curtsey for things he did in the past. That didn't happen. Cage couldn't care less if Booker was a 5-time WCW World Champion. He's nothing until he's been TNA World Champion. Tonight, Rhino & Cage will qualify for the King of the Mountain match. TNA World Champion Samoa Joe came out through the people. He said people were getting ahead of themselves because the same guy is walking out with the belt as walks in. The people want a champion who kicks ass to keep the belt; someone who puts the belt on the line and makes no excuses. Joe then turned his attention to Booker T. Joe said he's made it real easy for people to find him. He said he thought Booker was a punk ass bitch, but censored himself before the last of that. Joe announced that he had been out there all night talking about kicking ass and suggested everyone put their issues aside to beat down Team 3-D & Booker T. Team 3-D & Booker retreated up the ramp, but A. J. Styles came from behind them. He attacked all 3 with a steel chair.

Jeremy Borash was with Jim Cornette. Cornette asked Borash to explain last week when TNA World Knockouts Champion Awesome Kong was allowed to beat up a fan. Borash tried to explain, but Cornette said there was no explanation. He said the fans pay their salaries. Borash said it was either him or the fans. Cornette promised to pay 1/2 of Borash's salary while he was in hospital. Borash then showed ratings for that segment to Cornette and Cornette was amazed to see that they were the highest on the programme. The fans loved it. Cornette agreed to let it continue, but told Borash (in Pig Latin) not to tell the bosses. Booker T barged in and asked why his locker room smelled like rodent piss. Cornette said he was not going to go over over that again. If it was good enough for everyone else, it was should be good enough for Booker. Booker said he was better than everyone else. He said he would now dress in Cornette's office. He kicked Cornette & Borash out. Cornette said he had an announcment to make in the ring and suggested that everyone be there when they got back from commercial.

Jim Cornette was in the ring and said Slammiversay was shaping up to be a great show. He ran down the card as it stood to that point and added A. J. Styles vs. Kurt Angle and a TNA World Tag Team Title match between LAX and Team 3-D. He told Booker T & Team 3-D that he was headed back to his office and they better not be there when he arrived. Kevin Nash came out and asked Cornette to repeat that last thing. Cornette did. Nash asked what Cornette would do if they weren't gone. He said TNA security couldn't maintain the crowd at a Jonas Brothers' concert, let alone 3 thugs who are playing Rock-Paper-Scissors to determine who gets to take a dump on Cornette's desk. Cornette asked what Nash wanted. Nash said it was apparant that Cornette had lost control of the office. He asked if Cornette wanted to lose control of the entire company, then offered to help. Cornette said if Nash was offering to help, he wanted something. Nash said he would go back and get rid of the thugs if Cornette made him the special enforcer in the King of the Mountain Match. Cornette asked why. Nash said the people should pay for the answer to that. Cornette agreed to the deal.

Jeremy Borash was backstage with A. J. Styles & Karen Angle. He asked A. J. what he had to say. A. J. said in a few minutes, he would go to the ring and tell everyone. Borash would just have to wait like everyone else. A. J. then led Karen to the ring.

After a commercial, Karen & A. J. came out to the ring. A. J. announced that he had been blindsided by Kurt Angle backstage. Angle beat A. J. all over the backstage area. Angle stormed to the ring to confront Karen. He wanted her to tell everyone how she ruined their marriage. He called her a whore. A. J. ran to her rescue, but was soon followed by Team 3-D, Booker T & Tomko. All of them attacked A. J. Christian Cage came out to help, but that was still too many people and the beatings continued on A. J. & Cage as the show closed.

6-3 WWE RAW

Roddy Piper served as the guest timekeeper during the Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes/Santino Marella & Carlito match.

6-5 TNA iMPACT

A. J. Styles came to the rescue of Christian Cage & Rhino against Team 3-D & Booker T. He told Cage it wasn't long ago that they were like brothers. He hoped they could be on the same page. He said at Slammiversary, he would beat the piss out of Kurt Angle. He wasn't out to pin Kurt, he was out to hurt him. To make sure that happened, tonight he would take care of Kurt's "new butt buddy" Tomko. Jim Cornette confimed that. He also said he watched Team 3-D, Booker T & Robert Roode beat on A. J. "like a drag queen at a tractor pull". He then announced that tonight's match would be 1-on-1 and the special enforcer would be Kevin Nash.

The interview that Mike Tenay conducted with Sting continued to air. Tenay said Ric Flair's name was always linked with Sting. Sting said in his top 5 matches, 3 were with Flair. Flair put Sting on the map. Tenay asked Sting his thoughts on Flair's retirement. Sting said he can't think of anyone who gave more. He went out in style. Sting now is thinking about possibly retiring as well.

Matt Morgan & TNA World Tag Team Champions LAX (w/ Salinas & Hector Guerrero) def. Lance Hoyt, James Storm & Kip James.

A. J. Styles was backstage with Jeremy Borash. He told Kurt Angle that for the past couple of months, Karen hasn't wanted to be with him. But nothing happened between the two of them. They're just good friends. This Sunday, he'd beat that into Kurt's head.

A. J. Styles def. Tomko. The entire TNA locker room eventually came to the ring after the match to battle each other. Kevin Nash went to hit Booker T with a steel chair, but hit TNA World Champion Samoa Joe by mistake, prompting some tension between the two of them.

6-6 WWE Smackdown

Roddy Piper was backstage giving Cousin Sal some motivation before his match with Santino Marella

Cousin Sal (w/ Roddy Piper & Jimmy Kimmel) def. Santino Marella. Marella threatned to attack Kimmel after the match, but Piper came to his defence, knocking Marella down and out of the ring. Piper, Kimmel & Sal then celebrated together.

6-9 WWE RAW

Beth Phoenix was attacked by Melina after her loss to WWE World Women's Champion Mickie James.

Charlie Haas was invited to help Vince McMahon in his Million Dollar Giveaway calling. The 1st number McMahon called didn't work, so he had Haas do the dialing on the 2nd one. Donna Rose answered and correctly gave the password ("WWE Universe"), winning $50 000. McMahon then promised to add an additional $25 000 if Charlie Haas would kiss a Diva. Haas agreed and Maria came out. She and Haas kissed, then Vince upped the ante. He said he would give Donna and additional $50 000 if Haas would kiss another Diva. Haas was thrilled to agree and was surprised when Mae Young came out. Young grabbed Haas by the tights and frantically kissed him while Ron Simmons came out and uttered "Damn!".

6-12 TNA iMPACT

A. J. Styles came to prevent The Beautiful People from "brown bagging" Karen Angle. They told him that if he ever wanted to stop the "High School Musical" shenanigans and get with some real women, they would be there.

TNA World Tag Team Champions LAX (w/ Hector Guerrero) def. James Storm & Robert Roode (w/ Miss Jacqueline). Roode laid out all 3 after the match due to the referee reversing an earlier decision where it appeared that Storm & Roode had won the titles. Storm, Roode & Jacqueline proceded to whip LAX & Guerrero with belts.

Kurt Angle def A. J. Styles in a Lumberjack Match
