NEWS
At the Ring of Honor event in New York, NY on May 10th, Brent Albright entered the night as a member of Sweet & Sour, Inc. By the end of the night, he was a free agent. He tagged with Chris Hero in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match against Pelle Primeau & Delirious and The Vulture Squad (Jack Evans & Ruckus). According to reports, after Primeau & Delirious won the match, Albright quit Sweet & Sour Inc. and destroyed everyone in the ring, then walked out.

Before leaving the WWE creative team for developmental, Dusty Rhodes asked that Shelton Benjamin move to ECW, and groomed him to become a champion. Of course, once Rhodes left, Benjamin was buried.

Ted DiBiase's new book is now up for pre-order at WWEshop.com. It will be released on June 10th.

Ted DiBiase Jr., son of "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, is scheduled to be brought up to the WWE Smackdown roster soon. DiBiase Jr. is currently training in Tampa with Florida Championship Wrestling and as of late has been wrestling dark matches and at WWE house shows.

The Miami Herald has a story on Fit Finlay noting his career has spanned 34 years. He talked of his career, his legacy and was mildly critical of Ric Flair, saying he felt Flair hung on too long. You can read the story by clicking here.

Last Sunday night on ESPN news, when showing highlights of the Penguins-Rangers hockey series, Chris Drury got his face busted open with a stick and announcer Robert Flores said, "Drury, showing shades of Ric Flair with the crimson mask."

If you're a Ric Flair fan, check this out at www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqCmk8kC9X0.

Former ECW champion and TNA manager Shane Douglas was telling people at a wrestling convention over the weekend that he rejected WWE's offer to be an announcer for ECW.

One of the benefits of Mick Foley becoming the new Smackdown color commentator is that he lives in Long Island, so it's an easy commute to Stamford on Wednesdays if they need him to do voice overs.

Esoteric, a Boston hip hop artist who was on John Cena's album, released an album called "Esoteric vs. Japan: Pterodactyl Takes Tokyo" and there is a clip of a Curry Man ring introduction from Japan. This isn't Esoteric's first wrestling mention, before a 2004 album had a Dusty Rhodes promo (possibly about Ric Flair) and a 2007 album had Tony Schiavone introducing the 1986 Starrcade and a Paul Ellering promo.

50 cent's group G-Unit's new "Elephant in the Sand" tape has a track called "I'm On It Like That" where Tony Yayo raps about rap being like wrestling, both being fake. Ultimate Warrior, Andre the Giant and The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase were mentioned.

From the "We Must Have missed It File": Oklafan would like to wish a happy birthday to Charming Charles who celebrated a birthday on May 11th.

Oklafan extends its condolensces to the family of Judy Grable, who passed away May 8th.
