For those going to Orlando for Wrestlemania 24, they've added an event called WrestleManiArt, showcasing original artwork by WWE stars at the Orlando City Arts Factory on March 26th, which is the Wednesday before the show. The artists work being displayed will include Jerry Lawler, who went to college on an art scholarship and his drawings actually got him into the business; and Vickie Guerrero who put together a collage of the late Eddy Guerrero. Several other wrestlers have worked as artists including Steve Strong, probably the most notable, Superstar Graham and the late Giant Baba. For ticket info you can go to RedChairProject.com.

Jim Ross made the suggestion to turn Floyd Mayweather Jr. heel in the angle he is working with The Big Show for Wrestlemania.

If you have Time Warner on Demand, in the events free preview section they have old Mania matches like Andre the Giant vs. John Studd, Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant , Hulk Hogan vs. The Ultimate Warrior, Steve Austin vs. Shawn Michaels, Undertaker vs. Kane and John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels.

Eric Gargiulo at PhillyBurbs.com had an interview Tuesday with Carlito, saying he could have stayed in Puerto Rico and had it made but instead he took the more difficult road to come to WWE. He said his favorite matches of his father were with Abdullah the Butcher and Ric Flair. He said he thinks the Puerto Rican fans didn't think he could hang in the WWE and now they've turned around on him and he thinks it's hypocritical. He brought up asking for his release and just said the problems were resolved.

Mike Adamle did an interview with Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff Monday night on the WWE web site with Sheik calling Hogan a Hollywood blonde (bleeped out word).

Goldberg and Headbanger Mosh have both been signed for Jakks Pacific's WWE Classic Superstars line.

Jakks Pacific will release WWE Classic Superstars Series 19 in May and will include The Rock, Cactus Jack, Black Tiger (Eddie Guerrero under a mask), Kevin Sullivan, Adam Bomb, Doink the Clown (evil version), Tatanka, Howard Finkel (1 figure per 2 cases), Nikita Koloff (1 figure per 2 cases), and Mankind (LJN chase figure).

Former WWE and TNA diva Jackie Gayda, the wife of WWE star Charlie Haas, is pregnant with the couple's second child. Gayda gave birth to a baby girl named Kayla on December 14, 2006.

There are reports that the CNN Center in Atlanta, GA was hit by a tornado last week and suffered structual damage. CNN Center was of course the long time home of WCW headquarters. The Georgia Dome suffered some damage as well. Many wrestling events (Including Monday Nitro with Goldberg's WCW World Title win over Hulk Hogan) have taken place in that venue.

Jake Roberts will be a guest on "Trash Talking Radio" on Tuesday. The show starts at 7pm Eastern Time and can be heard by going to the Trash Talking Radio website (TrashTalkingRadio.com).

Pro wrestling Hall of Famer Danny Hodge was interviewed on Sunday night's HD-Net show taped from Tulsa. Hodge talked about how he wished there was MMA during his heyday but said he was fortunate to have a career using his wrestling ability. Think about this. In three years of college wrestling, he was never once taken off his feet.

The new issue of Autograph magazine has a four-page story on wrestling deaths in 2007, covering Bam Bam Bigelow, Mike Awesome, Bad News Allen, Sherri Martel, Fabulous Moolah, Brian Adams and Chris Benoit.

L.A. Park and wrestling legend Mil Mascaras are currently involved in a variety of movie projects.
