NEWS
There are currently no plans for Jeff Jarrett to return to the ring or TV for TNA. Jeff is content taking care of family and his backstage duties.

TNA actually sent out a press release to say that Bob Knight turned their job offer down to become TNA's first-ever head coach. Earlier in the month, Jeff Jarrett and Ross Forman came up with the idea, after Knight quit his job at Texas Tech, to offer him a job as head coach, hoping it would get the company some pub. Knight also turned down taping a segment on the show turning down the job.

Mick Foley appeared Monday night at the Station Fire Night Club Victims Benefit Concert in Providence, RI at the Dunkin Donuts Center. That was the famous night club that burned to the ground that got a lot of publicity. He introduced Twisted Sister and got a huge reaction from the crowd. He said he was there as the representative of the WWE and to support the families victimized by the fire. It also looked like he's dropped weight since he was last on Raw

Jakks Pacific released lineups for several upcoming WWE action figure releases. Ric Flair will be included in "Ruthless Aggression 34.5" along with Cody Rhodes, The Great Khali, The Miz, Batista, and Jamie Noble. Ric Flair will also be included in "Classic Superstars 20" along with The Rock (Corporate Champion version), Rey Mysterio (early career version), Dynamite Kid, Ron Simmons, Tony Atlas, The Sandman (red, white, & blue attire), and John Cena (LJN chaser style). Flair will be dressed in 1980's attire in that series. The Berzerker will be in "Classic Superstars 23" along with Rob Van Dam, Bret Hart, Hawk, Animal, Spike Dudley, Lance Storm, Billy Kidman, Lita, and Trish Stratus (LJN chaser style). B. Brian Blair will be included in "Classic Superstars 24" along with his Killer Bees tag team partner Jim Brunzell, Dynamite Kid, Davey Boy Smith, John Cena (WWE debut attire), Linda McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Trish Stratus, and Rob Van Dam (LJN chaser style). Jake Roberts will be a part of "Unmatched Fury 9" along with Hornswoggle, Finlay, and Bret Hart. Ultimate Warrior will be a part of "Unmatched Fury 10" along with Montel Vontavious Porter, Junkyard Dog, and The Great Khali. Mankind will be packed one figure per case of the "Vinyl Aggression 1" series. Also in that series will be John Cena, Steve Austin, Carlito, Umaga, and The Undertaker. The Honky Tonk Man will be packed one per case of the "Vinyl Aggression 2" series. Also in that series will be Finlay, Rey Mysterio, Montel Vontavious Porter, Mr. Kennedy, CM Punk, and DX, which will also be one per case.

Shawn Michaels will most likely be the one to induct Ric Flair into the 2008 Hall of Fame.

There are rumors circulating that Jake Roberts and The Brisco Brothers (Jack Brisco & Gerald Brisco) are expected to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. Still a dark horse inductee is legendary annoucer Gordon Solie.

In Australia, there is a recording artist called Dusty Rhodes and the River Band that just put out its first CD

Kamala has been added to the Alumni section of WWE.com.

From a statement released by the webmaster of Beth Phoenix's website: After Over 10 Months Of Being Online, We Have Decided That BethPhoenixGlamazon.com, The Official Website Of WWE Diva, Beth Phoenix, Will Come To An End. I Would Like To Thank A Number Of People Who Helped Out With This Website From The Beginning...Specifically Beth & Joey, Thank You For The Opportunity...Kevin Grace, Robin Knightwing & A Number Of People From OVW Who Also Helped Out With The Website. Also Thank You To Anybody Who Donated & Sent In Fan Photos, All Your Help & Support Was Much Appreciated.

WWE World Women's Champion Beth Phoenix acted as guest ring announcer at the Ohio Valley Wrestling event in Louisville, KY on February 27th. It was supposedly the last OVW show featuring WWE contracted talent.

With WWE's affiliation with Ohio Valley Wrestling now over, former part owner and booker Jim Cornette was contacted about helping to revive the promotion, but he opted against it.

In Mid-Michigan, there is a magazine called "Tri City Magazine" (TriCityMag.com). It's marketed towards upscale readers ie: professors, doctors, lawyers, etc. In this month's issue they have a list of famous people to come from Mid-Michigan like Madonna, and Stevie Wonder. Low and behold, The Steiner Brothers (Rick Steiner & Scott Steiner) names popped up. Just basically said they were 10 time world tag team champs.

Jake Roberts? Myspace page notes he will be accepting independent bookings as of April 1st.

Oklafan received word last week that all NWA Oklahoma shows have been postponed until further notice.

UWF06 Dual Kombat Division Champion Kunna Keyoh injured his wrist Saturday night in his match against Thomas Trump, forcing him to be unable to particiapte in the MSWA Lethal Lotto Tag Team Tournament Sunday. He was announced as IZW Tag Team Champion Scott Sanders' partner by MSWA commissioner Halo. Keeyoh's position was filled by Brian Blade.

Congratulations go out to several stars with Oklahoma-related wrestling backgrounds as they placed well in the Pro Wrestling Illustrated Year-end Awards. While Jeff Jarrett was the only one to actually win a category (Inspirational Wrestler of the Year), several others placed highly including Sting (3rd runner-up; Inspirational Wrestler of the Year, 2nd runner-up; Most Popular Wrestler of the Year), Rick Steiner (w/ Scott Steiner, 3rd runner-up; Comeback of the Year) and Beth Phoenix (1st runner-up; Woman of the Year)
