NEWS
WWE and Columbia Records have put together WWE Raw - Greatest Hits - The Music, being released on 12/18, produced by Rick Rubin, the former financial backer of Smoky Mountain Wrestling and longtime wrestling fan. This will have entrance themes of John Cena, Steve Austin, The Rock, HHH, Undertaker, Vince McMahon, Batista, Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho, Mick Foley, Trish Stratus, Evolution, Kane, and DX

Jakks Pacific has just released prototype images of WWE Classic Superstars 17! This hot new set of Classic WWE Figures is available for pre-order at Ringside Collectibles. Classic Superstars 17 includes: Eddie Guerrero, The Rock, Shane McMahon, Triple H (LJN Style chaser), Repo Man, Typhoon, Rocky Johnson, Ken Patera, and Ivan Putski. You can view images of the figures at http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/inner2.php?id=6299&page_id=1&PHPSESSID=cddaa6375cbc54b98d1f3c2f0cb8ffed.

The wrestlers shown in the graphic on Raw for tonight when Vince McMahon will announce the greatest superstar in Raw history were as follows: Diesel, Razor Ramon, Hulk Hogan, Big Show, Yokozuna, Edge, Trish Stratus, Eddie Guerrero, Mick Foley, Chris Jericho, Lita, Booker T, Ric Flair, Randy Orton, Batista, Kane, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Triple H, John Cena, Steve Austin, Bret Hart, and The Rock.

Paul Bearer announced that he was contacted to appear at the WWE Raw anniversary show but his schedule would not permit it.

Raw's 15th Anniversary celebration this Monday will feature many surprises, including the reunion of Evolution - Triple H, Ric Flair, Batista and Randy Orton.

The trailer for the Triumph and Tragedy of WCCW DVD debuted Wednesday, December 5th at 3pm est on WWE.com. The DVD will be released in the US and Canada on December 11th, although it has already been released at various K-Marts in the Southern Indiana area.

WWE seems to have succeeded in trying to keep Carlito from leaving. Carlito gave his notice weeks ago, but WWE worked to avoid another pushed superstar from jumping to TNA. Carlito is quite familiar with TNA booker Dutch Mantel from their days together in Puerto Rico

Regarding Ric Flair, there were changes made in plans. What that means for the angle going forward is anyone's guess, but it's clearly not a positive. He is booked for Bridgeport on Monday, but given the direction of that show, everything but Vince's show storyline is likely to be lost in the shuffle.

Despite helping the Raw audience grow 1,205,000 viewers on November 26th, Ric Flair was pulled without explanation from previously planned television appearances on both December 2nd in Florence, SC and December 3rd in North Charleston. Flair is booked for Raw tonight, but his storyline will likely focus on the reunion of Evolution.

Bushwacker Luke Williams is no longer a part of IWA Puerto Rico. We have no other details about his leaving. Williams was part of the booking team for the past few years along with Savio Vega and others.

Ted DiBiase is telling people to beware of doing business with Omega Sports and Brendon Bronson of Niagara Falls. He said he did two autograph sessions for Bronson last weekend. He said the promoter paid for his ticket, hotel and transportation to the events. He paid him only half the agreed price and disappeared. He said the first signing didn't even have a table. They arrived way late for the first signing because Bronson didn't get them there on time. He said Mick Foley had a similar experience.

Shane Douglas was at the IWC show in Elizabeth, NJ Saturday night and did a promo ripping on both Vince McMahon and Dixie Carter. He said 53 of his closest friends are now dead and Vince has done nothing to help the problems or ease up the schedule. He also ripped on Dutch Mantel's comedy booking. Apparently it went over great.

Oklafan would like to congratulate Miss Sheila on her recent appointment as SWCW Commissioner.
