NEWS
WWE will release "The Triumph & Tragedy of WCCW" on December 11th on DVD. Some of the matches included are as follows:

-Fritz Von Erich vs. King Kong Bundy in Fritz's retirement match
-NWA World Champion Ric Flair vs. Kerry Von Erich from David Von Erich Memorial Parade of Champions
-The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael Hayes, Terry Gordy, Buddy Roberts) vs. Kevin Von Erich, David Von Erich, & King Parsons
-Fritz Von Erich, Mike Von Erich, & David Von Erich vs. The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael Hayes, Terry Gordy, & Buddy Roberts)
-Chris Adams & Sunshine vs. Jimmy Garvin & Precious
-The Fantastics (Tommy Rogers & Bobby Fulton) vs. The Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton & Dennis Condrey, w/ Jim Cornette)
-Chris Adams vs. Kevin Von Erich

Sources close to the Ric Flair/WWE situation are saying Flair's recent claim that he is returning "later this month" is not solid, as they have yet to give "The Nature Boy" a return date. Flair is going to return for a final run that would lead to Wrestlemania. The current plan is for the WWE to give Flair a major sendoff. There are ads promoting Ric Flair at next week's "WWE RAW" in Charlotte, NC. As of a few days ago, Flair had yet received word of his return date.

The next set of Jakks Deluxe Classic Superstars will feature Shawn Michaels (DX version), Iron Sheik, Brutus Beefcake, Honky Tonk Man and Triple H (Blue Blood version). These will be a Toys R Us Exclusive and are due out in early 2008.

Jakks Pacific has released two new Wal-Mart exclusive Classic Superstars 3 packs just in time for the holidays. The first one features Jake Roberts, Davey Boy Smith, and Koko B Ware and comes with all 3 of their animals. The second one features Ric Flair, Bobby Heenan, and Mr. Perfect from when they were aligned as a trio in the early 90's. Both 3 packs will retail for $29.88 each.

WWE released their pay-per-view schedule for 2008 and no city in Oklahoma will serve as host for any of the events. The closest pay-per-view being held to Oklahoma will be "Vengeance" on June 29th at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX.

Among those on the new TNA video game roster are A. J. Styles, Samoa Joe, Scott Steiner, Kurt Angle, Eric Young, Abyss, Sting, Chris Sabin, Christian Cage, The Latin American Xchange (Homicide & Hernandez), Jeff Jarrett and Rhino.

The Angle Alliance (TNA World Champion Kurt Angle & TNA World Tag Team Champions A. J. Styles & Tomko) vs. Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, & Samoa Joe has been announced as the main event for TNA's "Turning Point" pay-per-view event in Orlando, FL on December 2nd.

TNA has signed former NWA-U women's wrestler ODB to a contract. Prior to signing with TNA, ODB had worked in Ohio Valley Wrestling and is a former OVW Women's champion.

Don't expect a ring return from Bill Goldberg, one of the most popular wrestling champions in recent memory. "There is as much chance at me returning to the wrestling ring as there
is for me to become a mixed martial artist, and that's zero chance," he said. "I am tired of watching these 50-year-old wrestlers coming back with their flabby bodies jiggling all over the place." Goldberg was at a Gallagher's news conference to announce the first sanctioning body for MMA: the World Alliance of Mixed Martial Arts.

Skip Young and Bronko Lubich were both given Lifetime Achievement awards at the PCW Heroes 2 Legends event Saturday. Young was present to accept his and Lubich's daughter Kathy accepted on behalf of her late father.

Boss Campbell made a surprise appearance at the Mid-States Promotions "Boxing Fight Night" event in Harrison, AR. He interrupted an interview with Olympic skater-turned pro boxer Tonya Harding. Mid-States Promotions owner Jason Jones came to the ring and said that Campbell had no business at a boxing event as he does not work for the boxing side of Mid-States. Campbell claimed that he also managed professional boxers but Danny Hodge would not allow them to fight in Arkansas. Campbell then called the citizens of Harrison "meth addicts" and Harding a "white trash ho" prompting Harding to slap him. Jason Jones then threw Campbell over the top rope to the floor. Harrison Police then arrested Campbell and escorted him from the building.

Mitch W. Carter wrestled his last match this past Friday against Ryan Davidson in Paris, TX. In an exclusive quote for Oklafan, Carter said "It's just a good time to get out while I still can before I get hurt. I don't see any room for wrestling anymore and I've got other priorities such as a fiance and a couple of careers. When I look at my scar from my collarbone for the rest of my life, I know that I got this from a phase in my life. I figured out that wrestling was not going to be my career and basically accepted the fact that it was just a phase in my younger years of life. I don't want anymore scars or permanent things staying with me for the rest of my life for something that I am not going to put 100% of my life into."
