10-22 WWE RAW

Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas walked up to Cody Rhodes backstage, who was reading the 500th issue of WWE Magazine. Haas was impressed that Rhodes could read. Benjamin said 500 was the number of times Hardcore Holly had pinned Rhodes. He said that he had good news and bad news for Cody. The good news was that he wouldn't be getting beaten by Holly this week. The bad news was that he'd be getting beaten by Shelton. Cody said that there were 2 differences between Shelton & Hardcore. 1st, Holly doesn't look like a complete tool as a blonde and 2nd, Cody respects Hardcore. Shelton said tonight, after he beat Rhodes, he could dye his hair blond and be younger, skinnier and much less talented version of his father. Hass concluded with "Awww, Snap!".

Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas doubleteamed Cody Rhodes after Rhodes' victory until Hardcore Holly came to his defence.

WWE World Women's champion Beth Phoenix and Candace Michelle were backstage staring at each other. Phoenix said Candace would worship the Glamazon when she made her bow get down on her knees. Candace responded that she was going to take back what was hers and no one would make her get down on her knees.

WWE World Women's Champion Beth Phoenix def. Candace Michelle in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match. Candace suffered a broken collarbone during the 2nd fall.

10-25 TNA iMPACT

Scott & Rick Steiner and The Latin American Xchange def. The Voodoo Kin Mafia (w/ Roxxi Laveaux) & TNA World Tag Team Champions A. J. Styles & Tomko.

TNA World Champion Sting said that his recent issues with Kurt Angle had nothing to do with the title. Angle put his hands on his son and he wants Angle to answer this question: What would you do if someone put their hands on your family? Sting knows Angle would tear them apart. This is exactly what Sting will do to Angle.

Kurt Angle def. TNA World Champion Sting for the title. After the decision, the referees got physical as Rudy Charles had been knocked out by a Stinger Splash and Earl Hebner made the 3-count. Jim Cornette had to come down and prevent the refs from trading blows as the show went to commercial.

When the show returned, the refs wer still arguing. Cornette said he will take both referee's statements and watch the video tape and then he'll make a decision. Mike Tenay called Cornette over and asked what there was to review. Cornette said that things were enough of a mess without Tenay sticking his nose where it didn't belong. Cornette suggested that Tenay shut up and do his job and let Cornette do his.

Kevin Nash barged into Jim Cornette's office and said he's got a big problem and no one gets to disrespect him. Cornette can do things the easy way or the hard. The easy way was to put Kurt Angle in the ring with him. The hard way involved Cornette's head going through the wall. A brawl almost began in the office until Cornette reminded Nash that he's partially to blame for what happened because he was at ringside during the Sting/Angle match. Nash said he'd be partially responsible for what's about to happen as well.

Junior Fatu def. Robert Roode (w/ Traci Brooks) to advance in the Fight For Your Right Tournament.

Jim Cornette apologised to Mike Tenay in the ring. Tenay asked for a decision. Cornette said he talked to both referees and reviewed the tapes. Earl Hebner said Angle won with extenuating circumstances. Rudy Charles wanted to DQ Angle due to Nash's interferences. The problem is that Nash never struck Sting, Sting attacked Nash. Cornette doesn't like it, but Angle is the TNA World Champion. He might not be champion for long, though. Angle will be forced to defend his title at the Genesis PPV in a tag team match with Kevin Nash as his partner against Sting and a mystery partner. Sting came to the ring before Cornette could announce the mystery partner and said he'd come up with his own partner. Cornette said that's more than acceptable. Sting said that Angle would not be the TNA World Champion after the PPV.
