NEWS
It looks like the situation between WWE and Ric Flair has been worked out as the Nature Boy is featured in a Superstar2Superstar segment on WWE.com interviewing Murder Inc. Records founder Irv Gotti. Flair was also part of an appearance recently along with Maria which was booked by WWE. Flair reportedly quit the company in August even though he denied it when doing interviews and WWE has been trying to get him back onboard ever since.

The co-host of the Fox Sports Net pre-show for the USC vs. Oregon football game used the "To be the man, you have to beat the man" quote, even crediting it to Ric Flair. NFL Network football analyst Sterling Sharpe used a Flair quote on this past Friday's "Playbook" show also.

Jakks Pacific recently announced that Randy Orton, Kane, Roddy Piper, and Eddie Guerrero will be included in Platinum Edition 6 of their WWE figures. Vince McMahon (in 1980's announcer attire), Ultimate Warrior, X-Pac, Sid Vicious, Giant Gonzales, Warlord, Barbarian, and Shawn Michaels will be part of Classic Superstars 16. All of these figures are scheduled to be released before the holiday season.

Although "Dr. Death" Steve Williams lives in Colorado, WWE routinely flies him into Louisville, KY or Tampa, FL to help train the developmental talent.

Jim Cornette will marry his long-time girlfriend Stacy Goff on Halloween.

ShopTNA.com will have new merchandise for Kurt Angle, The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley), and Sting available soon.

According to TNAwrestling.com Sting's partner at Genesis is a former world champion who has competed in every major promotion. Early rumors have begun that the plan right now is for Booker T to be Sting's partner against Kevin Nash & TNA World Champion Kurt Angle.

It was reported around the net that TNA Director of Talent Relations Terry Taylor had sent unhappy wrestlers a letter that would allow them to be granted their releases if they so desired. No wrestler has reported receiving such a letter from Taylor, thus there appears to be nothing to this report.

Chavo Guerrero, Sr. recently was advertised for the Ultimate Championship Wrestling event in Inglewood, TX on October 28th, but no-showed the event.

On ESPN radio's "All Night", host Jason Smith he kept using Roddy Piper catchphrases. Ones he used were in regards to NBA commissioner David Stern changing the rules for referees. Such as "When you got answers I change the questions", and " We're here to report sports and chew bubble gum, and we're all out of bubble gum. He then joked with his co-anchor and was told it's the next level when Koko B. Ware is mentioned.

At th Professional Championship Wrestling Uncut event in Arlington, TX on October 28th, PCW Uncut Champion Franco D'Angelo defeated Spoiler 2000 & Mike Paige by submission when Paige tapped out. After the match, D'Angelo ripped the mask off of Spoiler but the lights went out and when they came back on Bash was behind Franco in the ring wearing a mask with metal pieces on it. Franco was spun around and choke bombed. Bash left the ring with Franco needing assistance to get to the back.

As if things for Ricky Morton aren't bad enough comes this. Dustin Jacob McPhetridge of Surgoinville, KY was arrested recently by Kentucky authorities in a child sex solicitation sting and also faces child pornography charges after a search of his home. McPhetridge is Morton's website webmaster and is a regular at many indies in Tennessee, Virginia, and North Carolina. McPhetridge had been chatting online with a person he thought was a 13 year old girl from Bowling Green, KY but turned out to be a police officer. Police say McPhetridge drove 210 miles from Surgoinsville to Bowling Green on Saturday to meet the girl and instead met Kentucky law enforcement officials, NBC?s ?To Catch A Predator? host Chris Hansen, and volunteers from Perverted Justice, which is a public watchdog group.

Former NWA-U ring announcer Jeff Jackson and his wife Harmony recently broke away from their original online radio show WrestleTalkRadio.com and launched their own show SundayNightShowdown.com.

Magic, Don Montoya, Charlie Haas, and Russ Haas were inducted into the Jersey All-Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame Saturday night. Charlie Haas was present and gave a great speech talking about wrestlers who he knew from JAPW, noting he stays in touch with some and keeps up with them by watching them on TNA.

Wrestling fan Howard Kluter had an interesting experience at the AWA Reunion convention this past weekend. He gave Verne Gagne his 2006 WWE Hall of Fame induction program to autograph and Verne asked him where he got it as, apparently, Verne never recevied one himself, even though he was one of the inductees!

Verne Gagne was inducted into the Museum of Broadcasting Hall of Fame in the Twin Cities at a ceremony in Golden Valley, MN Saturday. Gagne was elected along with many local broadcasting stars, as well as Ray Scott, a nationally known football broadcaster.

Howard Feintuch at Musculargalore.com has produced a DVD called "Shawn Stasiak Determined", talking about growing up as the son of Stan Stasiak, college wrestling at Boise State, becoming a pro wrestler, his WWE & WXCW experience and his work as a chiropractor, as well as showing his training regiment and talks about him becoming a motivational speaker. Rob Van Dam, Skandar Akbar, Johnny Mantell and Kevin Von Erich are featured as well.

A trailer for a movie on the life of Andre the Giant is at http://vimeo.com/360033.

When The South Side Soul Assassins (Tyson James & 3rd Rail) defeated MSWA Mid-South Tag Team Champions Bad Boy & Outlaw for the titles, it ended the longest running title reign in Oklahoma. Bad Boy had won the titles with Glen Steel on September 8, 2006. Outlaw replaced Steel on the team on April 29, 2007. The longest current title reign in Oklahoma now is Michael Barry's IZW Heavyweight Title reign which began on September 16, 2006.

The AACW Tag Team Titles have now been vacant for over 6 months. The titles became vacant when champions AWOL and Havoc ended their partnership. AACW announced that the Tag Team Titles will not be decided at their upcoming "Hostile Takeover" event on November 10th.

Congratulations goes out to Kareem Sadat who recently surpassed 6 months as AACW Hardcore Champion. Sadat defeated K-Rob on April 21, 2007 for the title.

Oklafan sends out well wishes to Sonny C who was recently in a car accident and got whiplash. It was rumored that Sonny was planning a return to the ring but due to his injuries, his return has been pushed back indefinitely.
