NEWS
Jinder Mahal commented on steroid accusations towards him. On Instagram he posted a picture of himself with the comment "#TBT to a few weeks ago, no idea when or where... Anyone else on the roster have veins in their abs ?? ... And of course I'll get a hundred "steroid" or "wellness" comments .... I've been tested multiple times since coming back, and have never once in over 6 years with WWE had any issues. Follow my IG stories or my SnapChat and you can see that no one is out-training me, and no one is out-dieting me."

Goldberg’s WWE run ended last week with his “RAW Talk” appearance on Monday after the post-WrestleMania 33 edition of 'Monday Night RAW" in Orlando, FL just one night after he dropped the WWE Universal Title to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33. While the door is open for a return in the future under the right circumstances, Goldberg is not expected back any time soon. He posted photos to Instagram on Tuesday, asking “what’s next?” and using the #chanceofalifetime, #neverforget and #fromtheheart hashtags.

After RAW went off the air last Monday, Bill Goldberg came out to address the fans in a segment that aired in full on the WWE Network. Goldberg said that this was not part of the show and was speaking from the heart but wanted to tell the whole story of how his return came about. Some fans were being disrespectful chanting “What?” and Goldberg quickly silenced them down and won over the Orlando, FL crowd who wasn’t very kind to Goldberg earlier in the show. The former Universal Champion said that everything he does now is
for his family, and he wakes up every morning because of his little boy who never saw him compete before. He said he’s the luckiest man alive and is thankful for having the opportunity the past several months to do what he did. He invited his kid in the ring and his son took a bump after slipping on the security wall. The crowd went “ooooh” but Goldberg said that his son is already learning to take bumps and said that he took one more than he ever did in his entire career until Sunday, a line which drew a good laugh and pop from the crowd. Goldberg said that we can’t imagine how proud he was when he went to his son’s school to show them the WWE Universal Title and talk with them and said that nothing in life will take that away from him. The crowd at this point did a full 180 and were behind Goldberg all the way. Goldberg finished off saying that he doesn’t know if we’ll ever see him in the ring again as he was just a fraction of what he used to be 13 years ago and simply put, he’s not the same man anymore. He said that he thinks he and Brock did pretty good on Sunday considering their last match at WrestleMania XX was bad and the crowd responded by chanting “Yes! Yes! Yes!” Before leaving the ring, Goldberg picked up the mic and said, “Never…say never!” and then bowed down to every side of the ring to say thank you to the fans who in return gave him a standing ovation.

Jim Ross revealed to FOX Sports that he has signed a new two-year deal with WWE, a deal that was signed on Friday before WrestleMania 33. Ross said that discussions began months ago and his deal includes a specific number of dates that he has to work. “I got my jersey back. I got brought back to my home team, and my opportunities back in WWE, I’m sure, will be multi-fold,” Ross continued. He explained that they have a lot of things that he can contribute to considering he pretty much did everything in the business, but what he did on Sunday night at WrestleMania 33 was the fun part. “I hope to have more ‘fun part’ assignments in the future, but I’ve got my jersey back,” he reiterated. “So if the team needs me to play, to work more than they anticipated because they need it, I’m in,” Ross said. Meanwhile, JR also discussed how his late wife was so excited about coming to WrestleMania 33, dress up and walk the red carpet for the Hall of Fame, and see him get introduced at WrestleMania. “That was her dream, and I shared that dream, which is one of the reasons I was so willing to come here,” the Hall of Famer said. “I’m not going to tell you that I didn’t have those bald eagle-sized butterflies, but that’s to be expected. To be on the card at WrestleMania is not a right. It’s really, indeed, a privilege, and I was very happy that WWE reached out and wanted to, as they say, in their own words, bring me home.”

Jim Ross revealed how many WWE dates he will be working on his newly signed deal. He said “I think I’m going to do 30-40 dates in my first 12 months of my deal. Those dates are to be determined. There’s nothing they can assign me that I haven’t done before. How many wrestling matches you think I’ve called in my lifetime – 100,000? If they want me to do U.K. or NXT or Main Event, I don’t care. It’s all good to me. My days of being the lead guy, the No. 1 voice – all that is way yesterday. Guys who’ve had those issues like I have had in my career, they have self-esteem and confidence issues. I have both those. Totally happy to admit it, but I ain’t got them no more. I’m 65 years old. I feel great, I just lost my wife, I’m trying to get back on my feet here, and I’ve said this and I truly mean it: I’m happy to get my jersey back. I’m happy to re-sign with my old team. Whatever role I need to play, I’m fine with.”

Jim Ross confirmed that he'll still be calling New Japan Pro Wrestling on AXS even after returning to WWE. As Dave Meltzer has reported in the Wrestling Observer, Ross has a non-exclusive deal with AXS and officials from the station expected him to continue.

Jim Ross will be doing one of his Ringside shows in the Chicago area on the afternoon of WWE's "Payback" pay-per-view next month. The show will be held at the Zanies located on 5437 Park Place in Rosemont, IL and will start at 2pm, giving fans ample time to then go to the Allstate Arena to watch the WWE pay-per-view. Tickets are on sale now and will cost $30 plus two item (food/drink) minimum for general admission or $75 plus two item (food/drink) minimum for VIP, which also includes a photo and an autograph from JR. Tickets will be available by clicking here.

Mick Foley announced on Facebook that his hip replacement surgery has been pushed back until Wednesday, April 19th. Foley is headed to Wales to make an appearance next week but will have the surgery when he gets back. Foley says he’s looking forward to rehab time, becoming a better homeschool teacher, and possibly starting work on another writing project.

Just another day in the life of the ever-controversial Ric Flair, who was reportedly kicked out of The Deck at the Gas House, an outdoor bar in northern Indiana. According to Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet.com, Flair was asked to leave the venue after just a few minutes because he was insulting one of the bartenders. An eyewitness source told Satin that Flair called one of the bartenders a “fat ass”, and a representative from The Deck at the Gas House confirmed that he had insulted one of their employees, before being asked to leave.

Jeff Jarrett talks about his plans for TNA and Global Force Wrestling to merge in a video you can see by clicking here.

Impact Wrestling’s Jeff Jarrett tweeted his congratulations to Jeff Hardy for his return to the WWE and RAW Tag Team title win at last night’s WrestleMania but left Matt Hardy out of the congratulatory message. “Could not be more happier for my friends @JEFFHARDYBRAND n @BethBrittHardy_ … Super, super congrats,” he wrote. The second name tagged in the tweet is Jeff’s wife Beth. Jeff was less vocal about his Impact Wrestling exit compared to his brother Matt, who waged an all-out war against Jarrett, Impact Wrestling president Ed Nordholm, and the other men behind the Anthem owl which is perhaps why Jarrett did not feel like congratulating Matt as well. Meanwhile, former TNA President Dixie Carter reacted to the photo that was published from Matt's son Maxel’s Twitter account. Carter, who had no problems with the Hardys and vice versa, congratulated both. “Love this pic! Congrats to @wwe for this great get. Can’t say enough about these two @MATTHARDYBRAND @JEFFHARDYBRAND #Wrestlemania,” she wrote, adding two love emojis in the tweet.
