Prime-Time Roundup
4-30 WWE RAW
Ric Flair was in the back drinking coffee when Carlito & Torrie Wilson approached. Carlito apologised for screaming at Flair in spanish the previous week. He said he's gotten them a match against Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin and if they don't win, they'll split. Flair said he's been saying that since day one and walked out. Torrie asked Carlito if it was smart to promise to split if they lost. Carlito looked angry and told Torrie to relax because he knew what he was doing.
Ric Flair & Carlito (w/ Torrie Wilson) vs. Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin was declared a No-Contest when Carlito attacked Flair in the middle of the match. As Torrie Wilson stared on, Flair & Carlito battled up the ramp before the show went to a commercial.
5-3 NWA-TNA iMPACT
Sting came to the ring. Kurt Angle was waiting there with a chair and tried to ambush him. A pull apart occurred. NWA World Champion Christian Cage was backstage and said that it was silly for 2 people to fight over him. He decided to head to the ring to solve the problem. Back in the ring, Angle told Sting that he had a problem with him. Sting said the problem shouldn't be with him, it should be with Christian Cage. Cage came out and asked if they could just all get along. He said Sting didn't earn a title shot, it was handed to him by Jeff Jarrett. He said Kurt Angle is an asshole, but he has a point. He then turned around and pointed out that Angle came down and cost Sting the match last week. He wants to be fair. He announced that tonight, it would Kurt Angle & Sting vs. Christian Cage & A. J. Styles in a No DQ match. If either Angle or Sting made the pinfall of submission, they would receive a title shot against Cage at Sacrifice PPV. If A. J. or Cage got the win, neither Sting nor Angle would get a title shot. Sting said he's already got the title shot. Angle called Sting a pussy and suggested he didn't want to fight. Sting then accepted the match.
Christian Cage & A. J. Styles were backstage with Jeremy Borash. A. J. was pissed and told Cage to stop volunteering him for matches. Cage told him to calm down. He said Angle & Sting weren't on the same page. Tonight, he & A. J. will pick the bones. He said he picked A. J. because Tomko & Scott Steiner weren't around and Abyss was dead and buried. He promises A. J. that they will be phenomenonal together. A. J. goes off, saying that first Cage stole his hood and now he's stealing A. J.'s catchphrase. Cage said his hood unzipped and is more of a flap. He also said it makes them look like a team. It's something they have in common, like chest hair. Cage promised that after they dispose of Sting and Angle, A. J. will be the #1 contender. This made A. J. very happy.
Jim Cornette came out to confront Robert Roode & Traci Brooks in the ring. He said he told Jeff Jarrett to stay home because of what happened to Miss Brooks, even though it was deserved. He said Roode & Brooks (who he calls the "flotation floozy") should be fired. So far, he's stayed out of their issue with Eric Young, but it's got to come to an end. He pointed out that Eric voided his TNA contract by signing the personal services contract with Roode. Cornette said he could either fire Eric or take him to court. Roode suggests he fire Eric. Cornette then pointed out that when Roode forced Eric to sign the contract, he was tampering with TNA contracted talent and that was enough for Cornette to take Roode to court. Roode dares Cornette to do that. He told Cornette that he's smart enough to know that if there were anything that Cornette had the power to do to him, he already would have done it. Roode said Eric will be fired tonight and shoved Cornette. Cornette told him to keep his hands off, but Roode knocks Cornette out. Eric Young came out to attack Roode. This worked for a while, but Traci Brooks got handcuffs and locked Eric Young to the top rope. Roode took the guitar that Young had found under the ring and gave Eric a guitar shot. Cornette recovered after Roode had left the ring and was walking back up the ramp gloating. He set up a match between Eric Young and Robert Roode for Sacrifice PPV.
Kurt Angle & Sting def. A. J. Styles & NWA World Champion Christian Cage in a No-DQ Match. Jim Cornette had set up a pre-match stipulation where the man who made the deciding pinfall or submission would earn an NWA World title shot at Sacrifice PPV, but A. J. Styles tapped out simultaneous ankle locks from Angle & Sting. Senior referee Rudy Charles couldn't figure out who A. J. tapped out to, so Jim Cornette ordered a Triple Threat match between Sting, Kurt Angle & Christian Cage for the World Title at Sacrifice PPV.
5-4 WWE Smackdown

He thought Long's job as General Manager of Smackdown was up for grabs. Long said he wasn't ready to give up the job. Dusty said he wasn't interested in being someone's assistant. Dusty left as Montell Vontavious Porter was entering and greeted him.
