Other Facts: -Lost his debut match to Bugsy McGraw. He was put on TV without any experience because he had been taken to the locker room by Steve Travis and no one knew he was just a fan.

-Was originally selected to be part of The Fabulous Ones tag team with Stan Lane. Taylor was then bypassed by Steve Keirn for the position.
-Was part of a talent trade between Jerry Jarrett and Bill Watts in 1983. Jarrett received Rick Rude, Jim Neidhart, Masao Ito, and Hacksaw Higgins. Watts received Taylor, The Rock-N-Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson), Bobby Eaton, Dennis Condrey, and Jim Cornette.
-When he came to the WWF, he allegedy came across as very cocky and arrogant, to the point where Vince McMahon said he "struts like a rooster". This is supposedly where the idea for the Red Rooster came from.
-Credited with creating many of the aspects of the nWo angle, including selling T-shirts, using the black-and-white colours and originating many of the catchphrases the group would use.
