-Was a National Judo Champion in England before getting into the world of professional wrestling. He was a three-time national champion in that sport and a member of the British Olympic Judo team in 1976 but did not compete at the Montreal games
-Was blinded by Gino Hernandez in Hernandez's last match. When Hernandez turned up dead, Scotland Yard questioned Adams as a possible suspect, but ultimately cleared him of any possible involvement.
-Promoted his own wrestling shows under the name "L & A Promotions" with business partner Tom Lance. He also worked as a promoter for Big D Pro Wrestling and Freestyle Pro Wrestling
-Ran the Gentleman Chris Adams School of Personalized Professional Wrestling and trained Steve Austin and Scott Hall. While a trainer, he released a home video, "The ABC of Pro Wrestling"
-Around 1985, Adams was also among the first wrestlers to use the Sharpshooter, which he called the Superlock.
-Said by many to have a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde personality in connection with alcohol. On one occassion, he was reported to have been under the influence of alcohol and superkicked a bartender so hard that his eyeball came out of the socket! He also assaulted an airline pilot while under the influence of alcohol and was sentenced to three months in prison.
-Holds the record for the longest WCCW TV Title reign (4 months, 4 days)
-Voted Inspirational Wrestler of the Year by the readers of Pro Wrestling Illustrated in 1986
-Ranked # 66 in the 1991 PWI 500
