-Was most successful teaming with Ron Garvin, particularly in the Southern US
-Was Jack Brisco's first professional opponent.
-While competing in Georgia, he would only compete on a pink wrestling mat.
-Retired in the early 1980s and was booking cards in small towns in Missouri for Bob Geigel's Central States office in 1985.
-Was approached by long-time pal Pat Patterson and offered a job in the WWF office.
-Worked for the WWF up until 1992 when he was accused of sexual misconduct by a WWF employee.
-Passed away August 17, 1998 at age 60 from stomach cancer.
