-During a show in a small Oklahoma town, he beat up the McGuire Twins (who were 600 pounds each) to the point where they were crying in the ring.
-Was involved in a particularly bloody match against Tully Blanchard that was filmed for SoCW's TV show on USA. USA refused to air the match and it was one of the factors involved in USA cancelling SoCW and replacing it with WWF's All American Wrestling.
-In 1990, he was arrested for sexually abusing his 15 year-old daughter. He pled guilty, but stopped checking in with the police in 2000. He was then deported to Canada where he lived for the rest of his life.
-Passed away February 10, 2017 at the age of 76.
